which model did u get? me tinkg of getting only after bb's out.... looking at the combi model... only concern is tat too light... cannot hang stuffs on the pram...

i dun intand to get a stroller one but was shopping for carseat and found tis Graco model comes in a set.
infant carseat and stroller at $399.

it's pretty light weight and a good size for myself to handle. so we ended up buying it lor.

u are saying after drinking raspberry tea u feel contraction ar?? how is it like? menses cramp lidat? i oni feel bb freq hiccups lidat & big big movement inside.. realli can see the waves on my tummy when i sit at sofa.
 
ladies, raspberry tea will cost early contraction ah? i've been drinking for 3 consecutive days, once a day, but still don't feel any BH or contraction at 35 weeks. maybe i really zi2 dun4. actually, My dr say raspberry won't cause early contraction.

by the way, when do we have to visit gynae on a weekly basis. went for my 35 weeks checkup yesterday and dr ask me to go in two weeks time.

connie,do u still have spotting?i also had some browish spotting when i m in 32weeks..but the spotting only 1 time,my gynae told me not to walk around too much and monitor closely.if still spotting,tell your gynae immediately.

oh really? hmm...my dr kept telling me most of his patients give birth at 38 weeks...but he only ask me to go back at 37 weeks....getting a bit worried...

tt day both my MIL n hubby's godmother tell me not to wash hair during confinement.. hai~~ now dunnoe wat to do.. understand tt they hav our interest at heart lah.. but hor, sometimes wishes tt they dun interfere too much on wat we do lor..

hav u considered buying the "dry wash" shampoo powder? my mom told me it's gd.. provided u dun use it when u sweating alot.. den muz really comb thru the hair thoroughly...

Oh, Dr Sim said that?? If I didn't remembering wrongly, the last time I only visited her once or twice for weekly visit and it's my EDD liao, so I thot most ppl will pop at 38 weeks, hence no chance for weekly visit =P
I'm seeing her tis Sat, and at week 35, so next visit will be 2 weeks time, cos this one was 3 weeks mah.... dunno leh, see if this sat she will ask me to come back weekly or wat lor, anyway, been experiencing contraction, so hopefully bb don't pop too soon!!
 
Shihui & MBB, i tried the dry wash shampoo during my first delivery, used it during the stay in hospital but not effective. After the plaster was removed from my c-secetion wound after a few days, i starting showering and washing hair liao. Heard from alot of friends who used that before also dun like it.
 
Vanessa, i tink since you seeing her at 35 weeks she may still ask you to see her 2 weeks later at 37 weeks and if you dun pop by then it will be weekly. Me also getting more frequent tightening at tummy, after 36 weeks will be considered full term right?

huh.. my mom still tell me tt it's gd.. haha.. :p i think for their "era", strictly no washing of hair.. so anything is better than nothing bah.. :p

for me, i dun care, the maximum i will "tong" is 12 days.. aft tt, i'm going to wash hair with shampoo on alternate days.. else by day 30, my head will be covered with "snowflakes" liao... :p
 
just got news that my cousin in HK went in for c section today at 38 weeks...think like her bb stop growing or not growing well.

i got a fren who work all the way until gynae advise her to stop working 2 wks b4 EDD due to bad water retention... she was given 1 week MC.. at the end of the 1 week MC, she pop... din waste any leave at all... so nice..

read fr the forum b4 tt u need to bake the placenta until crispy dry... den ground into powder.. can ask medicinal hall to help pack into capsules... den can take the capsules lor... :p

else, some pple stir fry it with ginger n seaseme oil n eat it... :p

Yalor...I read tat the placenta can be dried and scraped into powder which can then be given to bb if bb sick. But I more scared the placenta will make bb sick!!!

Like wat the other gers hv said...yr discharge sounds like the mucus plug...in any case...rem to maintain even better vagina hygiene...cos the risk of infection wil b higher once the mucus plug is out...

if i start ML 4dec i will come back right after CNY week..so i take from 27Nov will end at 16thFeb juz nice to enjoy CNY and start work after CNY. my boss give me a funny face,he know what im up to..heee...anyway my gynae say most prob will pop at end Nov, so 27th Nov is the ideal date for me lor.

i intend to work till i pop... my edd 6dec but think will be early maybe nov20 onwards...i see alot of oct & nov mtb all pop during 37weeks

me tink will wash hair after discharge from hospital. coz stay in hospital 24/7 aircon still may not be too oily. at home not possible.
will dry it with hair drayer quickly.

i wanted to buy one for bb to toddler but he said buy NB carseat and when Meg is too heavy for the NB carseat, our second child can take over. so not wasted. faint or not????

tat is why my fren keep reminding me to demand more from hb during first pregnancy coz hb will be less bochap on second and above birth.

Some how quite true abt hb lor, last time ask him buy everything for the bb also can, but now say, no use lah, use awhile only, waste money, not neccessary....hahaha.... but to me, he still ok. infact now better, cos got car, so can help my craving....
