My oni worries is scare mid-wives hor not patient & ask me dun scream & yell lar. ahahaha wait i ask her SHUT UP 1st!. ahhhha

i also everyday after lunch very sleepy one. ahaha just now lie down my table to slp but seems to squeeze my dotter. she kick & kick. then i talk to her in my heart let mommy slp. cos i dreamt of her. also wakeup to pee MN.. aha then awhile later no reaction liao. maybe together slp with mommy me liao. ahhha.. luckily my dotter not like me sooo PIG ar. ahaha

I've asked her whether the maternity belt will help with my pull, but she say I can try but she don't think so, so I'm not investing lor. If u really need, suggest u try to purchase 2nd hand one. I've saw in yahoo auction that it cost $20. Ya, my gal seeing Dr Ong Eng Keow from Singapore Baby & Child....

not messy at all leh...or maybe cos they cover up liao, so i didn't get to see the 'messiness'.

i think depends on hospital. for my case, midwife told me to push when there's contraction. took epidural, so very intense pain becomes mild pain. so nurse told me to see the duno what contraction meter reading at my side. if reading go up to more than 100. that means high contraction.

Ya lor. 1 child where got enuf.. at least 1 more companion. I know say is easy lar. sekali i after 1 child birth soooo pain until i dun dare get pregnant also. I not say scare fat or ugly leh. but i scare labour pain. ahaha

hehe no lah..the video is part of the antenatal class mah..so she showed us the different birth delivery...me timid mah..so quite shaken by the whole process..really pray hard that mine will be a smooth one...

anyone can recommend nice maternity that can wear to wedding dinner? cos hubby got one ex coll wedding dinner in early nov..dun wish spend the money to buy the maternity clothes to go leh...but hubby said must bring me along to'show off' hehe

Gave birth in car??? gosh! U mean all by herself..this is scary leh..but for first timers like us..how will we know if the contractions are real labour pains? scully if false alarm very paiseh one...

Calynn, me too! Hubby was overseas recently and I was so comfortable with the whole king size by myself I cannot sleep when he comes back and take back his half of the bed! :p

kimi, think my hubby got gastric reflux too. May I know what is the cause? Is there any medication for that?

ya ya, my gyane told me too. Somemore that time i was about to due for my gal, he was checking me and tell me. If pain, just admit, don't wait, coz one malay patience of his, wait and wait, end up give birth in the taxi. He was half laughing yet half serious....

when on epi u no much pain hor.. then how u know when bb want to come out?? i very curious one leh. hahaha will pain until keep sweating anot ar? everytimes see tv hor.. aiyoo the pregnant mommy scream & scream then sweat until whole head all wet..

that video show hor...bcos they took video fr the front mah...to let pple have a good view, so very gross & bloody. but if u yourself giving birth, legs will be put on stirrups (dunno spelling correct) and your lower half cover with cloth. u can't see liao.

cut umblical cord? gynae asked my hubby to cut leh. dunno use what equipment to cut. my hubby said must use some strength to cut it leh...cos it's a bit 'tough' not easy like cutting paper.

ya lor...my colleague (an uncle abt 50+) said cos his wife thot 1st labour took so long, then 2nd time she dilly-dally at home. big pain liao then go hospital! my colleague was driving, his wife & MIL sitting behind. the MIL help to deliver the bb lor...

true that contractions & real labour pain dunno how to differentiate. even I 2nd time, I also blur...my suggestion is - to call your gynae whenever u feel not right. eg. if u experience pain or discomfort when u almost reaching full term.

u attend antenatal class? they'll teach u to look out for signs of early labour. eg. show (a little blood), waterbag burst, pain etc... but not all symptoms will come together lor....

Initially without epidural will sweat lah, pain mah, but when epidural was on...hahaha... I told hb, so shiok, so relax, I just watch TV and listen to nurse instruction to push... I was so concentrate on the tv that I didn't feel anything leh... hahaha, that's for no.2.

No.1 hor, in KKH, no tv, then by the time I'm ready to deliver, the epidural finishes and actually to me at that time hor, don't really have feeling, just like tummyache and wanted to push only lor...

ur hubby dare cut the cord? i asked my hubby if he will cut the cord if the gynae allows.. he say "leave it to the professional better"... just press the scissor thingy close, not too difficult wat, i think he is just too scared to do so... hehe!

I will sure panick at the slightest symptoms of labour. I dun want to give birth alone in toilets or cars lor..very scary leh...Yup..I will be starting my antenatal class with TMC on the 11th Oct..Looking out for labour pain is part of the lesson? Great! if not will sure blur blur one...

I was told to push like pangsai like that lor... I also nvr attend any antenal class, but if u know how to control ur cervic / vagina (dunno which part lah), then u can push there, else will be like pangsai like that lor...

aiyoo so scare hor.. scare i dunno how to breathe to relax. also scare no strenght to push lar.. thats why medical hall aunty ask me drink paosheng. so to build up my energy to push in labour ward. but then i just dun like tonics. eeeeeee

yeah lor! that's why i think i will go for epi. my friend who gave birth using epi was also watching TV and reading magazine. but because of the nice experience, she is not afraid of going for second one at all!

Yap its push like pangsai like that...for me as i went without epidural, can really feel the baby head down there, and that moment, you automatically will want to push (like pangsai), coz you felt it mah. I wanted to push, but mid-wives don't allow me, keep closing my legs, while i keep opening coz feel baby's head there liao mah, imagine, you can feel your 'poo poo' already down there, u sure quickly ran to toilet and poo right. same lah...

did gynae tell u the consequences of taking epi?? Some of my mom frds take liao bodyache lar. else hands shivering lar... diff diff one.

this time round, no epidural for me, so the excitment is as good as 1st time MTB...hope I can tahan... my hb shaking head when I tell him no epidural...hahaha...

Coz mid-wives want me to wait for my gynae to come. Aiyo, i was really at the verge of pushing out, i kept opening my legs while they tried to close my legs so many times, they gave up, they put down the metal support thing, and both mid-wives stood beside me with their hands closing my legs...i keep telling them, cannot want to come out...they told me wait a while more..aiyo...

When i dilated, doc will inject first than cut so that don't feel pain. And really don't feel pain..even when inject, i also don't feel much leh.

Got, side effects like vommitting, uncontrolled shivering and numbness lor, backache hor, according to dr lah, they say with or without will also have backache, cos a heavy weight suddenly was lighten off, so the backache is due to the weight that we've been carrying.
 
I want to go for no epi leh..wanna have a taste of how bad it is.. heehee..BTW, do we hv to tell our gynae beforehand if we want to use epi during labour? Cos if later too pain and wanna use epi, can we change our mind again?

no I haven't sent my no.1 to act class. i'm also looking...crestar has art & craft class. actually next mth start new class but i now sometimes tired, maybe lazy to bring her there. so after confinement Jan then will enrol her. at the meantime still hunting for other better ones....but usually cater for bigger kids leh.

i dunno if TMC antenatal class covers that topic. last time I took up antenatal class at KKH. they briefed us on the early signs to look out for. dun worry, cos you'll still be monitor fornightly & then weekly by your gynae mah...so any early symptom eg. baby engaged liao or not, cervix soften or not, or maybe 1 cm dilate or not etc...he will sure tell u.

yup mrs wong taught us the breathing part during labour quite good...n when mid wives ask u dun push liao then heed their advices dun push.cos they dun want bb to be like 'canon ball'one shot all out n the cord can be dangerous if bb shot out so fast....

hehe no uncivilised...mrs wong also taught us to breathe in n control our anus ,birth canal,bladder..wow quite complicated but ok ...last week she revised the steps with all of us.

aiyo still ask u 'wait a while' when bb's head is ald out?? the most difficult part shd be the shoulder,isnt it? once shoulder out,the whole body wil come out fast n slippery.tat what we saw from video.

if i'm not wrong, if later too pain & ask for epidural, gynae will see how much dilated the pregnant woman is. if too late, can't take epidural liao. then hv to go without epidural...no choice. Vanessa/Geri can correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry forgot to answer, when bb come out, don't feel pain. Just felt sense of relieved. Somemore my gynae can joke with me...well done Geri, u can come again 9 months later. I didn't even bother to reply him, just lie down there and relax, waiting for hubby take picture of bb.
