for my wedding, we oso did some little tricks.. :p my hubby is tiger mah.. so fierce.. den me cute little rooster.. afraid will get bullied by him.. :p so we feed him bao bao liao den let him enter n fetch me to his house.. heee~ :p aiyo.. cannot let him noe ah.. heee~ :p

I'm oso like Geri, christian, so not pantang. The only reason i dun like people on my bed is because of cleanliness. To me, bed for sleeping, in contact with my bareskin, face etc so, must be clean. I won't even wear my clothes that i wore outside and sit on my bed, cos dunno outside wat germs/dirt u sit on, then transfer to bed...eeeeee!! =P Last time my cousin without my permission let her kid jump on my bed (that was when i was still single), i angry cos i had just seen him run outside the corridor barefoot!! So dirty! So, I plan liao, after deliver bb, when expecting guests, i will put a extra bed cover on my bed and pillows so pple can sit on it and look at bb and wont dirty my clean sheets underneath! =P

cool down ya....hhaa...i've been laughing so much, wonder if baby feels the vibration. Hubby always asked me, baby feels uncomfortable or not, i laugh so loud and tummy like shaking like that. Hhaaa, i also don't know leh...but i suppose baby should be happy too lah...since mummy is.

Oic... hee hee.. not bad.. 1st time heard of.. must learn..
For me.. me is goat, hubby is pig. All the four legged farm animals.. No issues on that.

I'm supposed to kick hubby's leg b4 I enter the car, but hubby was standing too far..

Then when I enter his (parent's) house, I kick his house door lor, then very funny, coz my facial expression was weird the 1st time when I enter (was too busy kicking his house door), the photographer said photo will not be nice, so we act act and 're enter' his house, and I get to kick his house door twice!

My only worry is that coz Teochew custom is that my hubby's mum - my MIL will put some leaves on my hair and sometimes if she or other relatives are being bad, they will press the bride's head hard hard so in future she will 'ti tou' to them..

Me is stubborn girl, plus tall enough, so I always put my head up up hard hard.. so no one press my head lor..

Then, when we reached out room, coz they said whoever step on the other party toes 1st, the other party will listen to him/her..

The 1st time I wanna step on hubby feet, he siam, but after that, I bad again lah, ordered him to put his feet there for me to step lor.. hee hee.. so I'm the 1st tone to step on his feet

My hubby have the same habit as you when it come to bed leh. He also dont allow me to seat on his bed during dating time. Now hor i also like him liao, must change into home clothings than can seat on the bed

Ya lor.. Heng my MIL didn't press my head. I already told hubby when I went into their house, told him that they better not press my head, me will sure get angry and step hard hard on hubby's leg and press hubby head rite in front of them all..

Then I also very bad lah, I purposely make the 'flower/leave' drop from my head within 2 mins after MIL stuck it on my hair.. yeah yeah..

oO..ur fren's mum really mean leh..if my mum did dat to my fren, i really will explode de..but tik if i were u, really very paiseh n tik i will b rather angry wif my fren's mum loo~ anyway, like u, i sure will feel very "sensitive" when my fren ever invited me again cos scare for her mum's reaction loo~

regarding the pantang thing hor, for me..i kinda scare loo. i heard hor, if ur "ba zi" is strong enulf, then u ok but the other party cham..else, we will be the one suffers loo...so to avoid all these things hor, it's better to stay way loo~ tik our frens will understand one. most impt of all, if u tink u not pantang then no nid to worry..if u pantang, really must avoid loo~ :p

Ppl put flower ie hibiscus on the head only doing MTV in beaches and sarongs..

Mine is some leaves stuck on the head.. machiam like 'Xiao char bor'.. (coz it's only xiao char bor will put flower/leave on the side of the head nowadays..

Else, also reminds me on roast pig, coz ppl also put flowers and leaves on roast pig lah..

hehehe..same here..haha...but for preg hor, so far i very pantang cos 1st preg not successful mah..then for full month celebration hor, i olso pantang dat time when i getting married. i'm not worried abt my hb n my r'ship lah but scare got anything happen to my fren's bb...

den so far, me very bochap type.. :p but i still do pray pray for wellbeing of bb whenever i pass by guanyin temple.. other than tt, most of the pantang things i dun care.. coz i noe all those myth abt deformities caused by genes, not action mommy did during preg... :p but our parents still those "dun play play" type.. :p so i try to follow as much as possible lor..

The cash they will deposit into either ur acct or ur hb, the dollar to dollar is to ur bb acct and once the money is in that acct, it cannot be touch, can only use it for enrichment class or childcare purpose...

I know, but I feel that even though govt match dollar to dollar, the money are in an untouchable acct, which means we have to have that extra 6k to put into the acct for their use in future, so when there any emergency where we need cash, we can't touch that money. Like now, both my gals not in childcare, so the money is trapped inside there till when they are going to sch, which means there's another few years to go... haiz....

i very scare of anything happen to bb regardless of whether to my bb or my fren's de...cos hor, for me lah..i heard of stories like bb borned healthy but got high fever then..err...choi choi lah...anyway for me hor, i always feel dat bb is very fragile de...erm..tik mayb cos i'm borned in the yr of tiger like ur hb kua. my mum used to forbid me to go for any bb's full month celebration if dat yr de tiger very fierce. then for wedding, it's more ok loo...

actually for all these superstitious beliefs hor.. it depends on yourself lor... so stuffs that are no harm ... it doesn't matter to listen and follow for peace of mind... eg.. like cutting stuffs on the bed and drilling holes etc etc...

there is no harm in following and "touch wood" should anything happen to bb, it won't be because "i didn't listen to the old folks" and there won't be any "I told you so" as well..

yalor...i rem hor when i in pri sch dat time, got one chinese new yr hor i was not allowed to go visit relatives leh cos dat yr de tiger very fierce. my mum said if i go out will eat all the animals..very siong wor...n my mum said relatives will not welcome me too..sob sob...dat yr feel dat i keep ask my mum whether i can change to other zooliac de animals..hehe...like rabbit..hahaha...

oo..then got one case, my mum n sisters tell me lah. last time, we rear some white mice at home mah. then hor the white female mouse give birth to many bb mice loo..i dat time very young, tink less than 5yrs old. my mum n sisters dun allow me go c the mice mah but i very curious go c loo..end up, the mama mouse ate up all the bb mice...sob sob..my mum said the mama mouse c me like a tiger so she rather ate up her own bb than to let me eat up...sob sob....T.T

Aido, so poor thing cannot go visiting during CNY.

Think old folk more patang when it come to wedding and bb full month ba. Aiyo, just follow when reasonable and close 1 eye if unreasonable lor....It for peace of mind lah.
