Ya, finally mid-week liao.... this week seems to pass faster....

u better start ur search now cos the maid will take sometimes to arrive and at the same time u got to give time for the maid to learn also, so if u get her too late, by the time u r due, she's still not trained, then u will be very stressed, cos got to take care of the newborn, then at the same time, let the maid qi4 u, then think u will break down.

I also heard of the true case from my friend. Her sister was pregnant for 9 months and didn;t know abt it as she was still having menses every mth, so when she's due, she gave birth at home and the bb was still born, and it's a bb boy. The bb weighs abt 3 kg, and was passed away a few days later.... so sad to hear this from my friend and somemore she said the bb was chubby and fair... such a waste mah....

I wil b decidin on the maid b4 the 15 Sept new rulin comes into effect...actually...we hv decided on hvg a Myanmar maid...as recommended by my cust who is a seasoned maid changer...their english comprehension is better than Indo...n they r not as demandin as Filip...I heard fm many pple tat they r hardworkin too...but a bit slow lor...

I read that article already..very sad...I had a fren with a similar case too. Her baby was detected with no heartbeat on the 30th week...He just stopped moving in her tummy one day

Gosh! Intestines all outside tummy? Your fren must be devastated...anyway, I always feel extremely paranoid after reading stories like this...kept praying that my baby will be ok...

Most airlines allow preggie to travel up to 35 weeks ...just remember to ask your gynae for a letter..the only thing is that u will feel extremely uncomfortable sitting for long hrs..after that got backaches and numb legs..

transfer maid. it means those who are already in singapore but for some reason cannot continue working for their employers, in this way, would be able to meet up and interview.

I am not sure lah but i heard most pple choose their maid just by looking biodata...i don't feel safe like that leh

Apparently the new rulin wil not b confirmed til 15/09/06...among some of the speculations provided by maid agencies...continued salary paid to maid durin home cty vacation; increase / recommended standardisation in agency fee; food n lodgin exps to b paid by employer if maid is returned til transferred...in any case...the law is so defensive of FDW nowadays...tat hb n I felt tat the new rulin wil def b more of a disadvantage to new employers...so we hv 2 more days to speed up our search...

Not many agencies carry Myanmar maids...I go the the agencies listed in Netmaid webbie...

I was "forced" to b selected to do an eyebrow trimmin durin a course...the consultant used a razor to trim my eyebrows a bit...despite my unwillingness...now worried abt the shared razor...even tho therez no cut on my eyebrow...

yeah! got pros and cons. but have to look at the reason why the maid is transferred. i prefer those with a little bit more experience. those straight from countryside one, think i will teach until vomit blood, i am not the very patient sort.

think this is the latest order. but the problem is the seller only has limited designs and we are still waiting for her to get back on which designs she will get from her supplier. we now got problems with some popular designs like rabbit, doggie and duckie

will see how. if you are choosing not the popular designs, think shouldn't be a problem ordering.

That gal is older than me, she didn't go to the dr at all, she tot she's having tummyache, terrible tummyache and feel something coming out, and tot it's her intestine or wat, so they call 1777 for ambulance but b4 ambulance arrives, the bb head already out. I also dunno how come she doesn't suspect that she's pregnant at all.... we have so many problems while pregnant, just don't understand y she got no problem one meh?

Yeah...we have to pay the bond / loan for the maid upfront...norm Filip / Indo is abt $2000+...Myanmar is abt $1000+...which u wil deduct fm their salary...

Other Charges:
$5000 Bond Insurance = $250+/-
Runaway Insurance = $100 for 2 yrs+/-

i read tat from TNP on Sunday... tat's y was wondering when should we start panicking when we don't feel the bb's movement???

I read tat drinking more water helps reduce water retention. Your body will retain water when it sense that you are not drinking enough... so it will retain to make sure that there is enough for the fluid that protects yr bb... (something like tat lah)... so u should keep drinking...

depends on why the maid left the previous employer lor... my sis got a transfer maid and she's very good lor... used to Singapore and the food tat we eat... she's already trained in cooking the food that we're used to and she can use all the cleaning equipments without being taught again.... save a lot of time and frustration lor...

I think all these employing of maid is heng suai one lah, I've tried all sort of maid, ex-sg, new, indo n phil.... only the 1st one and the last one that I got is good, all are like shit man, and most of them are transfered maid except for my current one and the very first one... all in all, I've employed / changed 6 maids.... siao rite?

yeah lor. my good friend also got a transfer maid and is very happy with her. she was transferred because her employers emigrated to canada. the maid knows how to take care of young children and cooks very well too. praying that i can get someone like that.
