sorry!!! din make it to the gathering and din have anyone's number to inform you. Hubby decided we shd bring Lucas for his chicken pox jab b4 we go Melbourne. So we figured better not venture too much that day in case he got a fever but in the end he didn't. thank God
At the doc, I jus realised that Lucas missed his 18th months jab tho... jialat. But cos just had the chicky pox jab. can't jab again for a month interval so after we come back then jab lor.

u are one strong woman! Can handle 2 kids by urself and a tough hubby. I can be quite fierce myself so my hubby never gets to scold me!! but my mum will scold me... say i must be sweeter to my hubby. hahaha

my girl's name is Cadence Faith Goh Kai3 Xuan2. She's actually ready to be discharged but PD said her jaundice level is slightly high so she needs to stay there for more phototherapy. i think it's good too. can buy me more time to prepare for her arrival home. we're still not quite prepared since it's so much earlier than expected.
i've got many pics and videos of her but it's all in hb's camera. quite lazy at the present moment to copy from his comp to mine... shall bug him to do so at a later date.
meanwhile, i'm shuttling to hospital everyday to send her ebm and also to breastfeed her there. slightly tiring but still manageable.
so wished i had gone for the gathering. missed seeing some of the mummies i met previously like linette!!!!! mbb, bloom and shihui. i wonder how i can ever go for gatherings with three kids now... scary...

Cae is def very attached to my maid...she has been takin care of him since he was born...but not to the extent tat he doesnt wan Mummy n wan maid...in fact...when I m ard...he is more attached to me...but of cos he does exhibit affection to the maid...like...when he wakes up in the morng...he wil call my maid very loudly...when my maid comes bac after her hrs off...he wil run to her n hug her...in fact...yest...when my hb n maid came bac together...he ran to the maid n not to his Daddy...haizzz...my hb was rather disappointed...but these r tinks which cant b helped sometimes...oso he slps more quickly when my maid carries him...as she has been carryin him to slp when I was workin...BUT...Cae seems to noe who's who leh...he wil run to the maid when he has pooed...unless oni when I m ard...he wil run to me to for comfort n yang ow...he wil run to his Daddy for play...he wil run to his Gonggong if Daddy n Mummy scold him...n he wil run to either his Daddy, Mummy or Gonggong if he wanna go out...never the maid...oso...he kisses his Daddy, Mummy or Gonggong...but never the maid oso...
We try not to b jealous lah...cos it is not extreme attachmt in his case...it was our decision to leave him to the care of the maid when I was workin...n kids dun lie...the maid shld b pretty nice to him for him to like her so much lor...
Hvg said tat...I try to take over more carin duties now tat I m at home...n I oways urge my hb to spend qlity time wif him no matter how tired he is after work...

Thank you all mummies who sent me the photos. Aiya too bad I had to leave early, everyone seemed to have fun after that!
JT's teething got worse on Mon. Was running fever from after till the night, ard 38. So I took leave on Tue to stay with her at home. Super cranky, super sticky. Dun wan porridge, ate a bit of bottled baby food. didn't even want her fav banana!! Only ate cheerios?!?!! She got better on Tue evening and managed to eat some mee suah. Still refuse to eat porridge, would rather eat rice. Wierd girl, I tot teething eat porridge should be less painful mah.... I think she just hates porridge, period.

Yes, I really missed those times too. Tat's why on Tue, I also KPO go and fetch Philson from his CC with Dee... cos really miss Dee and him too....
Actually these few days when JT was so sticky to me, I really contemplated to quit and be a SAHM again. My job is actually very family unfriendly... lots of nite telecons and will be travelling too... but I know I can't be a Full time SAHM one lah... I really wish I can have some PT job, and can spend 1/2 day with JT....sigh.....
I dun think I will be taking leave this year.... cos going sydney in Nov, saving my leave for that. Next year lah, with the 6 days CCL, can take leave go jalan jalan

fizz, good that ur maid is good loh... cos at one point my niece is very sticky to her maid (my sis works fulltime and jokes that she had never cook a single meal for her gal before cos she still got a boy to 'entertain')... now it is better... anyway now my nanny might be taking up another bb... and i canot put kate in cc due to the timing.. and canot depend on parents/PILs... so if worse come to worse..might need to hire maid (my hb likes the idea.. cos cheaper than nanny..MAN!)... really dont like the idea of having a stranger at my pl and someone sharing my gal's affection at home or abusing her when i am not around! (worrying over nothing lah, since my nanny might be able to handle nicely even with 2 kids, i even comtemplate being SAHM! crazy!)

Not that fast...was in limbo for a long time. Just had confirmation early this week and we have to leave in abt 6 weeks time. Siao right, gotta find a place in HK n shenzhen, n arrange for movers, go back to KL to close the KL hse cos my mum n dad will be coming with me, see relatives etc etc...PANIC PANIC PANIC.

my friend just delivered to a baby boy yesterday night (EDD 9/9). tough she had narrow pelvic bone and doc advised her that chances of her going for natural delivery is slim. However, she did a good job. she delivered her son (weight 3.1kg) via natural with epidural. so glad for her. hope she will enjoy her motherhood.
my friend just delivered to a baby boy yesterday night (EDD 9/9). tough she had narrow pelvic bone and doc advised her that chances of her going for natural delivery is slim. However, she did a good job. she delivered her son (weight 3.1kg) via natural with epidural. so glad for her. hope she will enjoy her motherhood.

thank you all so much for your well wishes. today, we just brought cadence back home with us. very very happy that i won't have to go to and fro hospital. was really tiring and tiring on hb as well since he had to drive me there everyday and do his marking too.

haha.. so ngam meet u at hort's park. did meg enjoyed the garden? i didnt managed to go to the garden area (in fact i didnt know got those garden until about to go home.. then too k.o. liao) coz we went walking on the bridge instead and then d main entrance area. the kids went wild there, keep running here n there.

Yah, its extremely tiring to have to work after office hours. And anyway, I think I already kenna marked at work cos I had to skip a few telecons and company dinners with big bosses cos hubby was travelling. Even if I stay on, I dun think I will perform well lor.... sigh... what to do?? I have to accept the fact, there's no way I can be a career woman when there's no family support. Think I should try looking for a not-so-high profile job. But the problem is people look at my resume, might not want to employ me to do something less hectic even if I am willing to take a pay cut..... SIGH!!!!!! But I dun wan to be SAHM leh...

i know what you mean. employers will not believe you when you are willing to take the pay cut for a more senang job. they will think you come and play play only. well, since you already made up your mind you dunna be SAHM, then you have to look around. JT is still quite young and you definitely wanna spend more time wif her too since your hubby also trvels. perhaps look for a support role in the same area that you're in now, so at least you keep in touch wif the industry but more proper hours? just my opinion.
