I tink i vote for Globetrotters at United Square as it is located quite centrely. n near to mrt station. And for those driving, wont hit the ERP also. keke.. i like paragon and marche heeren but both got ERP on sat.

the kitchen facility is gd too.. pots n cutlery provided.. they even help me to wash up the pots during room service..
supermarket is only 5min walk away..

barry is q e opp o mandy. while mandy can still wear 12-18mth clothings tho she's 22mth old, 3-6 mths pants is too tight 4 barry tho he's less than 2 mth old...
aiyooo.. so fat lah him.. i dunno wat happened. nt used to a fat bb so we asked ard if tt is normal!

i nv bio dbl strollers but i dun really like e idea. by e time ur bb comes out, lucas will b at e age when he doesn't like to sit in strollers anymore i guess. mandy still sits in stroller but will wanna walk walk outside. when both r out 2gether, it's either i ergo barry n mandy sits in stroller or barry sleeps in peg perego n mandy walks ard. so i find a dbl stroller unnecessary leh. besides, they're heavy n bulky... wat happens when u come to stairs or aisles too narrow 4 e stroller? v troublesome leh.

hahah thanks for your ideas. but ah... think cos i never attended ur gatherings before, u dunno wat a scary tornado Lucas is. hahaha. He doesnt walk at all...he sprints. Everywhere. So ah... when we go out, die die must strap him to the pram unless I wanna lose my son. hahaha. *choy choy!!* We only let him out to walk when there's wide open spaces and not many pple - which isn't alot of places in SG - so we sometimes actually have to make trips to airport etc (heng heng i live near airport) for him to run and roam until tired. He had a ball of a time at the Istana open house for National day cos there are these grassy hills... very shiok to run and fall down. haha. (next open house = hari raya on 31 Oct for those interested - i research alrdy.. haha)
I also think the dbl stroller is a pretty bad idea cos it's gonna weigh a tonne. Not smart hor. So looks like 2 single strollers lah... or at least one carrier/ sling and one stroller for the 1st few mths. Altho... my MIM sling skills are really rotten... duno how to sling properly. Scared bb drop out
This sat ur gathering, if i can persuade my hubby, can i drop in to gatecrash abit? Think my boy also will go beserk when he sees so many kids... haha. He's only been to 2 trial classes... prob not used to seeing so many mobile kids... hahah

Its really up to you but do note that not only do dbl stroller weigh more, they also take up a lot more space in the car boot and store room compared to 2 single strollers. somehow, they dun collapse as compact.

sian, hopefully, 2 more week before I hit my 2nd trimster will be better. even KKH, NUH and TMC (which I seek for option) gynae said the same thing monitor and if anything amiss just came bck to A&E.they said hopefully 2nd trimster will be better as first trimster usually unstable. dunno why some ppls just have a smooth preggie. hai...I really very sian. Have already been admitted to hospital twice this mth liao.
this was what happened:
Y'day, Just discharge fr hospital after staying for 4D3N, sat got a scared while on the way for breakfast in the morning with my gar and hubby. then I felt a warm liquid coming hard and I prayed hard it 's not blood cos i happened on 1/8 too. then just placed my finger and felt, OMG, finger stains with red stains. so I walked a bit faster to the nearby TMC woman clinic. the doc has not come. they were quite a lot of ppls there waiting and I was sitting slanted cos cannot sit straight as my panties and shorts already stains with so much blood. so quickly, I went to toilet and cleaned up and placed a lot of toilet paper but blood just kept on dripping. the doc came fr hospital half an hr later. before that, hubby already told the receptional that it is A&E and can we have our turn first but the receptionist just called the name of the first person in the appt list. but those ppls there quite understanding and asked the receiptionist to let me go first. *&(*&^ the receiptionist..... so then doc just gave me 2 jabs and refer me to hosptial. so scary.
during my stay at KKH hospital, got 2 sad case all wash up case. another malay gar (very young) dunno if she is preggie or not, only heard fr doc that her scan show something outside the womb and her hGH level also drops. so she got to monitor another day for the blood test to determine the cause. the indian gar just went for a A&E operation wash up the next day.anyway, she never stay still on bed, nurse kept on searching for her. she only came back with her hubby/bf in the middle of night only. Saw the nurses pushed her out of the toilet using the wheelchair at 3am. then the doc came and checked. think situation was bad. then saw the doc (dress in operation suit) just pushed the bed at 0550am and then she was pushed back ar 0720am only. so scary....
so now, was given 18 days of hospitalisation leave. in fact, doc asked me if I wanted to go hm or stay...I chose to go hm after 4D of stay. so boring and can't get to slp easily at hospital. y'day, sleep so well but nearly 'faintz' when I reached hm cos hse is in a mess.
think, I'm giving up TMC liao cos the )(*&(* receiptionist services. hubby is also fed up with the services at TMC clinic opp gombak. the doc called Dr wong. he has a clinic at level 5 of TMC also.
tat's day, he paid for the bills and was shocked to see $205(third bill). haa...told him that TMC very ex liao....then he told me think stick to KKH better.

U nid lots of rest leh...at least til yr condition stabilises...try not to keep takin shuttle buses here n there to get diapers or fm deals...ask yr hb to get them fm a nearby store can liao...if u really nid to go far...take a cab or hitch a ride...

haha i kaypo, went to click on the hydepark inn link. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NICE!!!! now i am very gian to go to sydney. We are gg melbourne for abt 11 days in 2 wks time. Was asking hubby whether we can squeeze in a trip to sydney. hahaha! but no lah...too much hassle with my big stomach and Lucas and his big luggage (same as last yr, me and hubby gonna share one bag; lucas gets one by himself for all his pampers and sweaters and bottles etc!! no fair! haha) Nvrmd... next trip!!

my mum asked me to ask around - anyone's kids still poo-ing like mushy mushy liquidy poop? or all solid solid alrdy? Cos ah... altho lucas eats porridge and bread etc, his poop has always been and still is very mushy and soft leh. Sometimes can go 2 times a day even. How come ah? It's not like LS kind of liquid but just verry soft la.
Anyone giving their kiddo Anfapro A+? Is their poop similar?? Wondering whether it's becos the milk is wrong for him. Cos my mum says by the time they eat solids, their poop should be quite solid also, not mushy mushy 1

Haha.. dunno why boys nowadays all same same pattern..
Mine also like durian.. (mayybe anything full of favour he likes..) worse, he shares them with my doggies when he knows they like, 3 doggies (Ace, 1 jack russell, 1 chihuahua) sharing 1 pork floss bun on my parents bed with Ace pulling the bread pieces by pieces! He also shares his baby bites biscuit.
And he also worn my sis or my heels and kik kok around, now wear my dad's big shoes and drag all around the house..

Off topic a bit.. Had booked a Aus tour during Natas, my dad also can't resist to bring Ace along, thus my parents, hubby, Ace and me.. all going to Aus for the 1st time in our life.
Thus needed some help/advice from those who have been to Gold Coast and Melbourne..
Is the Courtyard by Mariott at Cold Coast Surfer Paradise nice?
Or the Mercure Hotel at Melbourne?
Going this sat after booking Chan Brother tour (wanted to join in for the outing to meet u all but cannot due to this)
Dunno what to do there during free time, go where or eat wat, etc..

Mine also like durian.. (mayybe anything full of favour he likes..) worse, he shares them with my doggies when he knows they like, 3 doggies (Ace, 1 jack russell, 1 chihuahua) sharing 1 pork floss bun on my parents bed with Ace pulling the bread pieces by pieces! He also shares his baby bites biscuit.
And he also worn my sis or my heels and kik kok around, now wear my dad's big shoes and drag all around the house..

right smack in the city.
the rooms are spacious n nice too.
it's facing the main street, so over the weekend the room is kinda noisy.
heee heee.....and you have problem finding the hotel entrance! it's in between shop.....very funnie de.
Countyard Marriot in general is good tho i have not stay in the one in GC.

yeah, need a lot of rest. have not been to office since 30/7 liao. sigh....even already seek 3 different hospital gynae and 1 TCM chinese physician for advice and all doc said the same thing. so nothing can be done now except to monitor, have plenty of rest and hope for the best.

"cephalopelvic-something". sad la, but bo pian mah. gotta get over it. as long as baby healthy then okie liao la. but maybe if got next round, i might wanna get a 2nd opinion lor.. coz of something the nurse mentioned when the gynae brought/carried out sophia.
if u can't handle tx during weekend, then can consider not bringing her back during weekend for this period of time. coz u really gotta rest well and protect your baby in the tummy. imo only.

but i have 2 kids leh. hw to go out? my #1 always want to be carry at times, then #2 oni 4mths old.. i cant imagine i kisiao scolding my #1 to walk by herself leh. sometimes not her fault lar. maybe sleepy tends to be cranky also.

I searched for Oaks Maestri Towers. reviews not very good leh... actually I found another one within the same price range, area and facilities with good review - hotel stellar... but also full!! Faintz... I think within the same price range not many with kitchens, most are more expensive, a couple are cheaper... I'm not sure abt the cleanliness ... but hubby is not keen on going for the more ex ones cos he say ok one lah... faintz...you know men's tolerance is higher one mah... Will do more research and definitely will let you know where I finally end up in!

read the sunday times, that supermom huh gg to be mum to be of 7 kids liao single handled raise her 6 kids without any helper.she trained them to be independent. the eldest one who is 10 yr old is helping to look after the youngest one who is 1yr old. super man....think her hubby is a businessman.

ha. just saying nia lah. mb i'll join next time when i'm more confident. in theory, it seems easy to bring e 2 out but when u execute it, u find it near impossible. i mean, it's nt tt i cannot do it but i dun tink it'll b in e best interest 4 e kids. if mandy wanna sit on e mrt seat, i wanna b able to let her n not force her to sit in stroller. same 4 if she wanna run ard in e mall, wan me to carry etc etc.
like wat jen said, i dun wanna force her or resort to scolding her when it's nt her fault. e gathering is supposed 2 b 4 her oso mah.
but if i let her get outta e stroller, i can't pick her up when i ergo barry n push a stroller. i oso can't run after her efficiently even when i haf barry in e stroller. n wat happens when barry gets hungry n mandy gets grouchy? it'll b unfair to barry if i hafta make him wait too long 4 food too... so ya, i can't bring e 2 out myself. b4 i popped, i still told some o mummies tt after e 1st mth i'll bring both out n shop w them liao. haha... wishful tinking!
oh ya, n thx 4 wanting 2 help jagar mandy but she hor, most prob won't let u! hiak hiak.

wow, u do wkends urself? must b tough! at least 4 me, i haf my mum 4 a few hrs on wkdays n my mil comes twice a wk 4 a few hrs too. i'm trying to lengthen e hrs i spend alone w e 2 kids at home. like my mum said, it's time 4 me to train. wkends i haf my hubby. i try my best to do everything myself but sometimes their feeding times clash etc so i'll still ask 4 his help. but he's nice leh, has initiative i must say.
sleep huh? sama sama. barry wakes mandy. mandy wakes barry. barry dun sleep mandy can't sleep. mandy dun sleep barry can't sleep. this happens everyday, TWICE. nap time n bed time. hahaha.. n it so happen tt barry's period o wakefulness is b4 mandy's naptime n bedtime. he will cry until i latch him b4 he guai guai keep quiet n sleep. q a headache.
today i was brave. barry was crying n mandy hasn't slept but i told my mum she could go home. heng mandy slept while barry was crying.
i was telling my fren i haf to choose 1 kid to torture everyday. like tt time i had to bathe mandy n barry started crying. hubby nt home. bobian, let him cry. by e time i'm done w mandy, barry had turned red n cried until no voice liao. another time mandy woke up fr her nap crying but i had just latched barry. quickly unlatch him n went to mandy. just when mandy was falling asleep barry cried den mandy heard n cried again. bobian had to leave mandy n tend to barry. mandy slept after a few cries...
lotsa logitics issues w 2 kids under 2. hehehe.. tt's y i cheong ard e whole hse everyday. sometimes i RUN fr room 2 room. i'm sure u do tt too!

went to a fren's bb full mth last week... a few of the aunties there asked if PH is gal or boy too.... he's wearing shirt n red pants lor.. actually i find PH gal looking myself too.. esp when he's smiling shyly.. n hor, he looks like a gal very much if i comb his hair sideway like a gal...
