yea 600g in 2 wks, i guess is the fresh milk i drank very morning and night leh..coz i been controlling my food intake liao.

Ya lor.... that's y I can still remember till now... even my sis cannot tahan her... my sis asked me to tell her that I'm the mother of the child and she's not. She make me cry on my first day back home from hospital... and mind u, she doesn't have any children b4 and yet I've took care of my nieces b4, so who is who.... hiaz...

ur wedding din sound like mine. my mum can be a bit ai4 mian4 zi3 oso. Her frens kids wedding have many tables, invite many ppl, she oso want to follow. So, i told my mum right from the start i intend to hv small wedding din, less then 30 tables and told her she can only have x number of tables (I forgot how many, but i know it is enuf for relatives), then after that my mum grumble that she didn't get to invite all her frens. But I really didn't care cos it was my wedding and i'm paying for it and i want to celebrate with ppl i know. So, she just have to prioritise her frens! =P naughty hor? Most of the time my mum and i get along, afterall, we are family, but sometimes, i think that for old generation, when it comes to this type of things, somehow, they want to "show off" or become ai4 mian4 zi3 at our expense, then i'll put my foot down lor. heehee!

nowadays my diet very healthy cos' not working since end sep......so can cook at hm....normally boil or steam my stuff & eat brown rice....but once in awhile i do makan outside & eat some sinful stuff....my gynae said it's ok.....provided dat i dun overdo it ;p btw, how much weight did u put on????...my gynae said i m not supposed 2 put on 2 much. ur bb how heavy at 30 wk???

sigh my dad oso very ai mian zi......but i simply bo chap.....i didnt ve any wedding dinner cos both my hubby & i find it very troublsome....so we held our wedding cum rom on a yatch.....we only invited our immediate families & very close fren.....told dad yatch cannot tahan so many people ow will capsize...heehee....of course he not happy but oso bo bian

oni my left breast got colostrum. so funny lor..

re the full month celebration... tat day i also test test water... i not very keen in full mth celebration... anything tat involves a lot of relatives one hor... i try to avoid... tat's y i didn't even have my wedding dinner...
but cannot just tell hubby lidat.... he'll not be happy... tat time didn't have the wedding dinner, he already a bit grouchy.... his mum also not shiok... now must be careful!!! ha ha...
i dread the poking tat i can envision from all the relatives also... tat's y been hinting to hubby tat bbies usually get very grouchy after the full mth celebration... so very difficult to take care after tat...

I am thinking of not celebrating. cos my hb side got ZERO relatives here. then neighbour lagi dun say lar. my PILs hakka. sibei "diao" one . no much frds lidat one. dunno why. maybe they how lian.. look down on pple. my MIL is this kind of pax lar. then my family is vegans.. sure if setup buffet then who want to eat vege? moreover my realtive those aunty & uncles not all supportive one. So better dun invite lar. wait hv to coordinate with no of pple to cfm also sian.
I think at the most full mth invite own frds can liao lor.

me thinking of getting more leave lei.. but not sure whether my boss will agree or nt.. cos mar/apr time is year end closing.. sure supper stressful one.. and right after closing is year end audit..
initially wanted to take 3+3, but now seems like not possible.. now dun know whether will she approve 3+1..
coy has pro-family policies.. so coy policies its ok to take extended leave, but dun think my RO will let me go lei..
now also dun know how to ask her... my tempt coming in on mon.. maybe wait till see her performance then say..

I also put on about 18kg since..but i noticed my weight starts to remain constant now..i read somewhere that starting from week 35 onwards, we will not put on much weight already..Water retention problem is getting serious..especially my legs..when i pressed a finger on my thighs, can see the yellow markings taking a long time to disappear..then the sole of my feet is so painful when i stepped on them..gotten wear better cushion shoes now..

my mum hor initially told me dat she dun feel like inviting alot of relatives n frens to my wedding..so i asked her to agar how many tables so dat i can 5 5 go look for restaurant or ballroom mah. when i booked leow then last minute she increased the no. of guests coming..haiz...end up, i nid to go to the restaurant twice to take more wedding cards n kena nagged by her somemore...saying dat we very "xiao qi"..haiz...really bo bian ah~ T.T

i attended the BSMG workshop hor, the speaker said dat it's ok if we dun hv anything coming out from our breasts now cos hor, our colostrum are oredi inside ever since we are pregnant from dunnoe wk wat to wat..tink abt 10++wks (tik it's during our 1st trimster)..sorry i forget leow. she asked us not to worry cos we sure got colostrum in our breasts stored for our bb one then hor as for BM, it's demand = supply. the more u let bb latch on, the more u hv. but of cos, it depends on individual lah. the speaker asked us not to worry, our breasts are solely cater to the needs of our bb de. normal pple hor, can cater to twin's needs loo~ so tink u dun scare if got the the determination there...

Yea i notice i put on lesser than b4 now..only 1kg from last visit,but my bb gain faster than i though lor. water retention problem is serious for me too..my legs now like elephant leg
cant wear any shoe, only can wear soft sole slipper, but come office cant wear slipper,hv to step down back of my shoe and walk slowly. v painful too.i think at this stage i feel my leg is more uncomfortable than my tummy leh.

So today topic on full mth celebration ah. I am actually very surprise that my in-law is ok without any full mth celebration. Just need to give cake (tradition type with red egg)to close relative and ppl that give gift only.
Personally i just want a small celebration with close friends. But hor, staying with in-law so cannot lor. Think i will do without celebration otherwise it will be another wedding dinner style...Cannot imagine the house with more than 100 ppls

i understand the norm is to give angbaos to the cl at the start n end of confinement? may i know how much angbaos do u give the cl? also, how much should i budget for buying food n herbs during confinement? i'm working out the budget for confinement period n realise i'm quite clueless. really hv no idea what the figure should be.

The infant care that I went to is the tampines one, coz its just 2 blocks away.
I remember the website says the charges is $1k before subsidy, $650 after subsidy. But when I ask the in charge, she says after subsidy, its $450(for citizen) and $650 (for non citizen). I didnt book yet coz am still not confirmed, and currently theres about 5 babies (youngest is 5 months).. so I think still got quite a lot of vacancy. But I was quite put off by the in-charge there as she was quite persistent for me to sign up that day itself. Kept saying that a lot of enquiries and that Dec a batch of babies coming in. I told her that will discuss w hubby first.
But from what I saw the infantcare quite okay not say v professional (or as professional as i hope for) but seems like more professional than the usual nanny. I oso saw the older kids there are very well behaved.

I oso got like a few small meatball on my areola. During antenatal class got mentioned its Montgomery gland or something.. usually harmless but depending on where it is, it might irritate babys mouth when suckling. Was quite worried coz there is one on my nipple itself! So went to find out more after the class and Mrs Wong brought me to a smaller room to do inspection on the spot! Was pleasantly surprised that she is so concerned. She says that mine is quite okay and shouldnt be a problem. Think she said that if the meatball is at the edge of nipple & areola then might cause some irritation to bb. Maybe u can check with your gynae?

I still havent decided whether to have celebration or not.. since hubby oso dunno wat is first month celebration. My parents are chin chai abt it, and hubby haf no relatives here. Even if have it will be for close colleagues n friends.

oic.but TMC did practise the enema issue. most of my friends and col delivered in TMC.
u didn't sign up for a delivery package at TMC meh? heard there is this $550 package from the start of pregnacy till one delivered. but it does not cover those scanning.
hmm the average weight of bb shd be more than 2.5kg better. underweight bb is not so gd as mentioned that the organs might not develop fully.
do check it out, we mummy also can claim the working mother's child relief (WMCR) and also parenthood tax rebate plus infant care subsidy care. one can check it up at the www.family.gov.sg. I also gg to check out the pre-delivery medical expense (medisave maternity package) with the hospital. it stated that this package allow one to use medisave for delivery expenses as well as pre-delivery expense (eg consultants, ultrasound) for yr lst to 4th child.
