(2006/07) JULY 2006 MTB

Hi mummies,

sigh.... i see there is some sort of discipline imposed regarding their sleeping routine. hehe i feel so guilty when it comes to Caitz. She sleeps ard 10 now cus hb puts his foot down saying no more late nights so all of us sleeps at 10+. Caitz still sleeps with us, she doesnt cry but makes those 'going to stir' noises then i will feed her and she will fall back asleep... usually its she n hb sleeping throughout the night... haha its me getting up when she stirs n put her back to bed. i realized that the longer i wait, she will cry n might not go back to sleep that easily.

last night, i told my hb to watch caitz while i go to the bathrm. next thing i heard was a "boom" n saw cait on the floor!!!! immediately i stared at hb with that " i told u to watch her" look.but i know hb felt guilty enough so i didnt say anything after but that really gave him a wake up call! n to take my word seriously. sigh... luckily cait is alright. no pt of impact. tested her eye movement also normal. yest weigh cait n she is still 7kg. aiyo... eat so much still weigh the same!!!
 


hey mummies... where to buy the baby yoplait yoguert that you all bought? hehe...

same like missmoon, when my girl wakes up in the morning, i'll let her play by herself until she starts fussing. but if she wakes up in the middle of the night, depending on the time of her last milk intake... if it's been more than 4-5 hours already, i'll usually feed her milk.

K's so cute. I can't even really whistle. ;-p We have a nightlight in the room if not I can't find his dummy!

Yes, he sings. He sings a lot in the day when he's in a good mood. It's very pleasing on the ears. Sometimes my mum falls asleep listening to him. ;-)

you mean a bed as in cot? If it's cot, then they can sleep on thier own even from a few weeks. That's what my British friends do. They put them in their own rooms from very young and let them cry so the cry it out training is all part of it.

same here, I thought only my girl fidgets or wakes up in the middle of the night, then realise many are facing the same problem.

Kaylyn is already sleeping alone in her cot in her nursery now..day & night. I wanted to start training her early cos it'll b more diff when they're older & can move & run around.

Ask a qn - these 2 days, my girl like to scream without a reason, is that normal? My sis say she is learning to talk...but i find it strange..any mummies have any idea why she is like tat?

i think it's more like she is trying to attract attention. It's normal. My boy oso likes to scream. Sometimes he will perform an orchestra performance wif his 1 yr old cousin.

Sleep routine..will i be to late to join? hahaha busy at work : )

Venice sleep around 10.30pm n wake up for feed at 5.30am then doze off again n wake up when the sun is out at 8.00am...no changes in routine since 7weeks...!

Few time we skip her soild feed in the evening..she will wake up few time at nite n cry for milk...so i tink baby after 6mth if not on 2 time soild tense to wake up more at night cause not full enough blah

Sleep routine:
Ever 4-Mar, when she got flu, she has been waking up @ around 5am to play 4 around 1.5 hrs... n it definitely disturbed our slp so much as we still need to work... initially we still rock n pat her, she simply won't doze off, finally these few days we tried to put her in between us... but sometimes she'll still be attracted to the lights from the fan, purifier, socket, etc... although we use blackout curtains, there's still some gap that light still penetrates thru', from there, she'll wanted to crawl to the lights... sign... last night I tried putting her back to the cot but she'll cry but those loud cries... hb can't stand the sound keep asking me to put her bk bet us... not co-operative at all to train her...

Mayb ur gal is exploring her voice & sound? There was once when my gal also keep screaming for no reason..those kinda opera scream lor..then when she got bored, she'll change to another kind of howling.

Yes that is what all people telling me.. But my BB is a prove to those old wife tale that pregnant women cannot stress and unhappy if nt BB will be difficult to handle or cry alot.

I took exam from beginning of preg till end and in between stress with work and planning for customary. This boy just love to SMILE... lol so OPP of me..
