(2006/07) JULY 2006 MTB

Zoe, he's on that amt since he was ard 4 mths plus and I haven started solids on him that age yet. So basically, he's not a good milk drinker. Water also, he hardly drinks them.

Kloe, I seldom cook too, only 2-3 a week. Usually I will log in when BB's asleep for the day, ard 11-12am, but then u will see me "talking" to myself most of the time, but I realise there's zoe now. Hehehe. BB's sleeping now and I need to do some transfer, so come in and peep peep.

My day's very standard. I wake up together with E. Bathe and feed him after that he will nap. When he's taking his first nap, I will wash his bottle, cook his porridge, wash laundry.

2nd nap, vacuum n mop the floor,
go shower, wash up the porridge and take a rest, maybe eat something.

The rest of the day after he wakes up is play and play after he's tired, he will sleep and I iron clothes/ log in the internet.

So standard, I get so sick of it. The tight schedule for housework means I cannot go shopping, else housework will be left undone.

I just called up Similac consultant and she told me that similac follow on will not cause constipation but because bb now on solids so poo will be bulky....to eat fruits such as apples, papaya or bananas.

For cereals, she does not receommend brown rice cereals...said it is not easily digestible and also rice cereals with chinese herbs etc etc... She recommended unpolished brown rice cereal with milk powder. She did not specifically said which brand though. Also said no aotmeal too...afriad there is wheat content.

For porridge, must have balance diet- fish or meat plus vegetable.


Hmmm....I started ryan on brown rice cereal from HT. So far ok leh. I started him on HT oatmeal... So I also dunno if I shld change.
 
May - my infantcare is bright kids at punggol.

but actualy think any infantcare also ard the same. i rem Lok send hers to babies inc. this one is more high class (means more $) n they hv activities like kindermusic etc.

i think for my centre, adhoc rate is like $35 per day.

but i must warn also. our baby now starts to recognise pple already. so might hv some stranger anxiety. so they might not get use to it, will need longer time to be use to it. also of cos there will be times tat bbies will be crying to get attention. afterall, the ratio is 1:3 or some centres 1:5. so this kind of thing hv to "see open" cannot be too uptight.

stool will become lumpy once start cereal, it's gd dat ur bb drinks a lot of water too as long as it doesnt replace his milk intake so think it's ok lah

U are really super mummy. I don't like to me SAHM, it will bored me to death. especially when BB is very cranky abit also cry then u also don't know what wrong.

It's never easy to be a mummy in d first place, let alone SAHM...dats why women are very "wei da" mah

But there's definitely a great sense of satisfaction when u see ur bb growing each day n now they are almost halfway to their first birthday already...how time flies!!...sigh suddenly im getting so emotional...

A raise of hand who have get back their pre-pregnancy wraist linee and weight.
I get back my weight but my wraist increase by 3 inch

ya time really flies and that mean we getting older. Last year this time, I am busy prepare for my customary and angry with my unhelpful HB. This year, fight & quarell with him. Hiaz.. Dragon & dog really don't match ?

Totally agree with u. I genuinely think all the SAHM deserves double salutes for sacrificing their time to look after bb. It's really not easy. I rem during those long weekends when I tried to look after bb and it was so so tiring! Hence, being a working mum is ten times easier, for me at least. Not offence to FTWM mum hor :)
