Do ur colleague know tat u r expressing milk, did u let them know? I feel abit of embarassing to let them know especially the male colleagues , what should i do??

i dun like leh... hand very tiring n pump for sometime already got sound... thot of using it when gg back off but i dun think can... mayb bcos i'm using electric one at home more comfort... so selling off mayb a gd thing loh

If on weekend i can organise the next one but my place is a 4 room flat near to Singapore Badminton Hall.

If mummies interested then i hold one at my place in NOV since we have one in OCT.

ya loh...so far the past 2 gathering...very very funz....but really not easy to get ALL mummies to gather..hehehee...the gathering going to be a mthly thingy..hehe...fun leh...to see all babies growing mth by mth..from a mth old...just drink..cry...sleep..to 2mth old...knows how to 'tok' hmm...3 mth old..what they can do har???
hmm...end oct got 2 public holiday leh...wonder if all mummies able to make it..if not nov..can oso..think mummies going to get excited again...hehehe...

right mummies??? im getting excited again..hahaha

Ok then next gathering at my place. I shld be ok with most of the Nov sat unless i got to work.
A bit busy recently cos just started work and i am taking up some new task. Alot of learning to do.

I think keep the holiday for family lah. We chose a normal sat for gathering.

Hi mummies, does your baby chew on his hand or mitten?? lately my baby likes to chew on his mitten until whole mitten wet with his saliva and then he rub his face and nose very vigorously also - why is tat so? (like a meow meow)

it's normal, dun worry. my bb also like that. yesterday, brought my bb boy go c PD for his 5-in-1 and i asked y bb like to put his drumsticks into his mouth. he said between 3 and 6 mths, bbs will find their hands/fists and put into their mouths.

ur bb still wear mittens? Experts advise tat it's better not to let bb wear mittens after 2 months cos it will deter the development of their hand motor skills such as grasping.
My boy oso like to suck his fist...
 
for mummies whose babies sleep thru the night(more than 6 hrs), do they fidget while they are sleeping? If yes, does tat mean they r hungry tho they did not cry? My boy always fidget a lot towards the morning and altho he did not cry, i gave him milk thinking he might be hungry so tat's why he couldn't sleep soundly. But i'm oso scared tat if i give him milk in the middle of the nite, he might get used to it and wouldn't sleep thru. Any advise?
 
Hi Yenny, Just curious - what time does you baby sleep at night? Mine now sleep about 8.30pm and will wake up at 3am. Trying to train him to sleep later but very difficult leh.. I need him to wake up at 5am instead of 3am so that when I go work easier.

my boy stretches and fidgets a lot during his sleep on some nights. so long as he doesn't cry, i will ignore. i think they'll start crying or make more noise when they're really hungry?
 
yenny, think it's better not to feed him milk if he doesnt cry.. cos i woke my twins up to feed them when they were young.. and now.. at 21.5 months, they are still not slpg thru the night... my boy is, sometimes, but my gal..nope.. hai. think it's somewhat linked to waking them up when they were younger. Think if baby is really hungry, he'll cry.

Looking forward to next gathering also. haha. hope i can make it.. cos if it's a weekend, the twins will be at home.. mabbe will ask my mum for help.

My boy showing signs of rejecting milk liao.. water he wans but milk hor, dun wan.. at times, he will finish off very quickly but nowadays, very prompt to just finish half or simply not even alittle.

FM powder dun put too much spoon, cut down abit & let your bb drink more fluid. It will help!

u try mixing the milk powder with barley water. See if he wanna take. Also got some cooling effect but wun be too cooling.

Can get the Chicken brand barley, it come in tin.

If u have thermal flask then u add 1 tbspoon of barley (wash) and add water to full. Soak it for 30 min. Then use it to make milk for the bb. replace the water with barley to make milk
