(2006/07) JULY 2006 MTB

hey me also leh... so used to meeting hb's buddies for coffee session during the weekends... even when one by one of us started getting married, we still meet up loh... then it started to lessen when 1 of the couple went into parenthood, then now, hb and my turn... getting lesser and lesser gathering liao... havent go for clubbing for afew years le now that you mentioned this... i dont mind cutting down on clubbing and i really enjoy every coffee session that we had loh...

my hubby will be taking 1 week leave after i delivered... hope he will tell me he wanna extend another 1 week to stay at home with me and bb... hee hee... actually i very passive one... need someone to push then will do things one... hahaha...

my hb called you "my new forum friend"... hahaha...

my gf only mentioned that one nite when her bb cried and woke up at midnite for nite feeding, she gave her bb a pacifier to suckle first while she go prepare milk for bb... then when she came back with the milk, bb go back to sleep liao... so after this incident, she just push a pacifier to bb's mouth when he woke up and cried at nite... but hor, my gf also said the last feeding before bed must increase slightly so as not to starve bb...
 


ya ya..forgot abt the kopi session..be it at coffeeshop, coffee bean, starbucks or even hotel lobby lounge...used to go to marina mandarin hotel the lounge there to drink and relax...haiz..now.. can dream lah..hahaha...

ya loh..actually 1 week is already too much to ask for..but of cos we will like to hv them with us longer loh...if not blurz blurz..even im a 2nd time mum..hahaha..cos this time no CL and no one to help except hb...

my hb will asked who i sms?? i told him charmaine..he said who?? then i just said forum mummy...geberra...then he said oh...shld know it lah ..hahahaha

last tiem my hb dun like pacifier and sarong..but both my mum insist..hahaha..so he no choice..cos he afraid that my boy will stick to it till evry old...i oso worried..hahaa..but thank god..my boy himself kick the habit..hahahaha...some kids will stick to it quite old leh..so u better think twice..

my fren said BF even at nite is gd..if the bb cry and u go and make milk..the bb will cry till awake liao.so if BF then hor..once bb cry..u just let her latch on...after a while..sleep liao..hahahhaa....

close the deal with that mummy liao... but i forgot where she stay le... aiyo.. sometimes when you buy too many things from the forum, you will forget what you buy and where to collect.... better write it on a pc of paper otherwise conflicts will start from here if you forget about it then nvr collect... like that thread... scare to have such conflicts loh...

gd loh..yesterday the Godma sent me a website..the stuff sold in US..aiyo..got spa bathtub for bb leh...hahhaa

i read from 1 article that actually suckle on pacifier sometimes helps bb to calm down... and hor if bb wanna suckle on something, better give him/her pacifier else they will suckle their own thumb/finger then it'll be worst cos at least for pacifier you can wean them but for thumb, abit difficult loh... sometimes they can suckle until their thumbs like become rotten like that...

i thot of expressing BM out for nite feeding... but i also read that latching bb on will increase the bonding between mummy and bb loh... so quite hesitating which one to do... haiz..
 
Morning... How's everyone? Yesterday went for checkup but nothing much...

Doc/Mo just check for baby's heartbeat.
Next appointment next Tues but doc never schedule CTG, weird... 39 weeks liao still no CTG? Hmmm...

Got 1 seller selling hers for $30 but is the old model.. Dunno if good or not..

I rem last time 38/39 weeks, they will do CTG already.. this time very different...

They also no longer give the admission form now... Doc say cause they realised more mummies lose them so they no longer issue till actual admission..

That time I bought a baby monitor and in the end there was some fault... Kanna from him... so now buy things must ask first.. also bcos we on tight budget so must discuss.. sigh

aiyo.. you havent tried the 500ml one now thinking of ordering the 1.3L one liao... hahaha... i thot you flooded your fridge with all the BP food, swiss rolls, eclairs now ice cream.... think you can also join the BP for mini fridge... haha...

me must go and climb stairs to expedite the popping time..hahahaha...cos my hb said i glue to pc without walking...haiz..true too..cos last time got work..walked to adn fro mrt..abt 10 mins each time..haiz....now...no more walking liao..whole day walk dunno got half an hr or noit..hahaha
 
haiz..so my frens asked me to climb stairs..dun use lift...and my hb said go walk walk..dun walways sit sit sit...wah piang...

then hor..ask u all ah...many said my tummy stuill high leh...must be low so will give birth soon meh>???
 
haha... no need to climb staircases lah... just walk up and down inside your hse can liao... if your opp neighbour see liao... thought you are mad liao... haha...

hi mummies,
not able to follow thread at all. my baby is not receiving enough breastmilk from me that's y no urine. as a result yesterday warded for jaundice. mummies who have not popped, maybe you want to keep in mind this, in case baby does not get enough in the beginning, consider supplement with fm first. but express and give whatever you hav to nursery so that they can feed. today very heartpain cos something dropped into my bottle of preciously expressed 20ml of milk and i have to throw it away. sigh.... my ss is miserable, 45min express only 20ml.
also, water does not help prevent jaundice. so if old folks at home ask u to give water using bottle, can tell them no help.
but of course now my baby must drink fm to increase milk intake. sigh!!!! my efforts of latching him on for the 1st 3 days!!!!
 
Decimal point.. if u dun mind, u can post a thread to request for other mummies expressed BM. FM and BM total different consistency one.. I personally regretted not able to hold on enough for my previous two kids on Bfeeding...

heard from some mummies red dates ater for bb can help to reduce the jaunice..maybe u like to try...no longans added..just boil red dates...

dun be depress loh...maybe u can try drinking hot soups and hot drinks before expressing BM...and hor always has a glass of hot drinks beside u wheile BF..this will increse the MS...while pumping..try to pump 10 mins then hor..massage the breast and use hot towel to massage then pump again...each breast u pump for 15 to 20 mins..then swap to the other...the try massage again after 10 mins..then pump again after 10 mins..then try other breast..hope this can help u

Helo Mummies,

I started my maternity leave already..but feeling so bored at home. Should have continued working. Anyone started drinking raspberry tea leaves? It's said to speed up labour. I have been drinking and it taste really nice..like Ribena!
