Its okie... Go ahead and read... also good to share birth story so other mummies can know what will happen during delivery.

My 2nd labour a bit scary but on the whole was okie cause they tell me no aneastetist available cause delivery ward that day very packed... then after deliver, they tell me no doc to stitch me up.. hahah

I went @@... but okie lah cause the nurse very patiently teach me how to bf baby so never think so much..

JP- Sometimes is bo pian one loh.. me not private patient mah.. no specific doc.

But really thank the staff nurse that day during my 2nd labour, she really was very nice and patient. unlike my first, they didn't even ask me want to bf or not.. but hor maybe cause I was over bleeding lah.. that's why...

I really want to highlight to all 1st time mummies, bf ur baby as soon as you can in the delivery ward. even if they never offer, request for baby to latch on... Its an amazing feeling and it benefits and calms baby.

my CTG is like a mountain range. That's why the nurse and gynae asked me if i feel any tightening but me no feeling leh. Gynae scared i blur blur and maybe labour start alr also dunno, so she did VE. But cervix not open yet. *phew* BB is very low alr, almost engaged. My weight is stagnanting --- bb is growing but amniotic fluid down, so net = no weight change. She has been telling me shld be delivering ard 38-39 weeks.

JP, I hope so too! But cannot be so soon, my backup still not in yet
 
Misaryeo - Yah, we've been through really a lot and things have really changed.. Even though we have more problems now, we manage to stand by one another and pass all these hurdles..

He also another story behind himself.. hahaha

I should say we both walk through a very bumpy road before reaching where we are now...

Thanks Steph for sharing with us. U know not many are willing to share the ugly side of their life and u are one exception.

I kinda of cannot imagine myself in yr shoes... coz me and hubby also ku jing gan lai before we get married and frankly its this BB that brings us together again.

When I was reading yr labour stories, I teared.. coz i cannot imagine myself being mummy.. (was a xiao la jiao in the past) and the thought of having little one by yr side after so much pain and seeing them smoothingly suckling on to our breast.. aiyo.. so emotional.. i dunno what im writing also!

Stronger woman - quite true after went thru so much. For me, althot i know i can carry so much but i still want someone to share with me. Luckily my siblings are old enough.

I only ROM in Oct 18th 2004... hheheheh delivered 2nd child Apr 5th 2005.. hahah

Me and hubby both thought that we wanted to get ROM after he ORD which is in 2005... who knows we had to push that plan forward to 2005
 
PM - Life is like a wheel..got ups and downs! As long as a couple stick together through hard times, they will come out stronger! Both must work hard lah... Seriously speaking, my BB too comfy liao...don't want to see the world yet. Me going doc tomorrow...see what he say lor.

Yah.. hubby is Indian.. but my MIL is peranakan... So hub and his dad got same taste one.. kekekke I always joke that my son next tiem will have chinese wife also.
 
Stephanie.. my SIL ROMed when she was 7th mths pregg, she was like a balloon when she had her chinese customary.

Thankfully me and hubby managed to "settled" thoug not everything n i was like 4 mths preg when i wore my wedding gown... still can hide quite well lah i think. Hehe

JP i agreed w u.. my r/s w hb now is so much better than last time... although road ahead is real tough (due to $).
 
Paranoidmummy, actually hor, we both never wear wedding gown or take wedding photos till now leh.. hahahah

We plan to do it when we are old.. hehehe.. kids grow up liao, no need to worry then we go take pics... hahah

I got my customary when i am 4 mth preg. When i compare my ROM picture which is 1 year ago .. i almost want to cry cos i look more fleshy in my customary.
Then hor, got ppl kept talking behind your back- SHOT GUN MARRIage.. I purposely put ROM pictures short preview for them to see- to shut their mouth up.. lol
 
PM - Aiyah, in the end hor, its the couple themselves mah. I have friends who had grand weddings (wah piang, like Princess D) but in the end....haiz, divorce also. I am happy to hear that your r/s with your DH is much better now. Don't worry too much about $$$..just ensure you do your calculation / costing plan. Me in the same boat in a way...kena retrenched when boss found out me PG....haiz!

Seems like I share a lot of common dates with you. Your ger and I share the same birthday and your ROM date is my HB's birthday!

PM - Yup, as long as BB is healthy, that's what matters most.

Sandy - Hi! Don't worry too much what ppl say. In the end, as long as you and DH is happy, that's what matter most,rite? Furthermore, you all will be starting a family already..they are just plain jealous.

I found out i was preggie right after my customary. We are happy to anounce to our parents but MIL kind of mind wat other got to say but is passed now n she really proud of her granddaughter.

JP,
that is the purpose of marriage, sharing happy and sorrow. Stime guys are like that, they lost the passion which they use to have when we dating. So must remind and remind them. I even asked my hubby. Will we still hold hand till we are old. He told me "yes"!
So on and off, i always remind him to hold my hand even if we are going out with my daughter.

I ever saw some couples just walked on their own, each holding a kid, still have another hand why not holding ur spouse hand?
 
JP - yup. you can go complain at MOM or to NTUC if you union member. There's article about pregnant mums being sacked in today's straits times.

Steph - ya! so coincidental hor?! My EDD is 30th July. But i quite sian already, cos so heavy and uncomfy....hope he will come out soon.
 
JP, no, u have to be garang and make sure u speak to the right person... If ur boss genuinely sack u becos u were pregnant, then make sure everyone knows it.

Hong - Me too, me only child mah...must yang-oh more lor....lol! My dad and mom still hold hands and hug each other (in church when they say "peace be with") and still going for the honeymoon (4th time liao). So, I always ask DH if we will be as loving as my parents when we get to their age...DH say, sure - sure...lol.

Jul04 - Haiz, me never after my friend kena the round about at MOM. She regretted it now.
 
Steph - Wah piang..she lagi clever...she pin-point everything. Any opp, she give warning letter...haiz, when someone wants to get you, she will.

tink she's monitoring me closely cos last week she said i'm showing signs of pre-eclampsia (blood pressure trending up, protein in urine, swollen feet). All signs that something may be wrong inside mummy, so she told may need to induce this week if blood pressure shoots up. Today went back to check, blood pressure is fine but amniotic fluid was down. BB is abt 3.26kg at 37.5 weeks, he grew like 250g in 4 days. Gynae doesn't want bb to grow too big cos I'm very petite size, or else surely C-section. So my conclusion is that with all these problems, I probably won't carry to 40 weeks. Then again, hard to say......
