Yah, if u happen to have infection, they will give u antibotics to clear that up before delivering.

Hello mummies,

Since July is approaching and some mummies had already POPPED or going to POP soon, I am offering to compile a list of our due dates again cos seems like no one is maintaining the previous list. I'll try to post and update the list from Monday to Friday to keep all July mummies updated.

yep, it is the same as the high varginal swab test or Group Strep test.

Mayb ur gynae sent the culture test to diff lab? My gynae uses Parkway Laboratory. Other than the usual routine test, I also need to take thyroid blood test periodically. But my expenses for every visit will not exceed $80 leh...

I'm delivering at GlenE. I will bring some toiletries...prefer my own...but small bottles lor. I brought PJs, Nursing bras &amp; pads, disposable panties, going home clothes, stick on maternity pads, baby going home clothes, blanket, booties, mittens, hat. I'm trying not to bring to many things, if I need more, just get hubby to go home and take.

btw,are u bringing yr x-ray films and reports along?
 
ask u mummies, do u all bring dress or top and bottom for doing home clothes.. thinking maybe dress will be more comfortable for us cos 1 piece..? as for baby's clothes? long sleeve or short sleeve? bringing any pants fro bb also?

eeyore...better to do lah, After the test ..Me tested postive for GBS..so need to put on antibodies during delivery...if not may infect my girl.
 
mummies, the Strep B test is painless. If u have done a Pap Smear, it's something like that. If tested positive, mummy is fine but may risk the bb getting some serious complications.
 
zita, gynae will ask u to do or u mz request on your own... cos my gynae quite quiet kind n never ask u to do many test unlike KKH, they'll tell u all sorts of test to do (1st 2 &amp; half month i was with KHK)...

I'm bringing top and bottom going home clothes. As for baby, long sleeves and long pants.
 
misaryeo, i shld be bringing a dress to wear when i am discharged. For BB, very KS, I be bringing a romper -long sleeve and long pants kind with the receving blanket and a little hood....
