Paranoid, i bought the ikea clips too for the bags cos i heard the avent ones very ex and very hard to find.. i saw in other threads they use rubblebands to tie instead.. and when after thaw, just need to cut the bottom of the bag to release the milk to heat...

Initially also tot of using avent bags but so ma fan got to go and buy the clips, so end up i bought another brand bag which and be sealed like a zip lock bag..

anyone hor..got this thumping inthe tummy..like heartbeat...at 1st i tot bb's heartbeat..when asked gynae he said cant feel heartbeat one...it is hiccups..aiyo..my this boy loves to hiccups leh.....everyday..few times per day....expecially when u sit down u can feel...

Me also tired of waiting, seeing my gynea this saturday. Asking whether should i go on leave starting next week...
Very nervous.. don't know what will happen during delivery.

paranoid, my edd is 27 july, gynae say might pop 10 days early.. dunno true orr not.. but i hope not so early also, cos i prefer a leo bb, hopefully he can tahan another 5 days...
 
dsiitan, yah coz i slept early yesterday and now hubby went out to work liao.... hehe

Oh.. i also experience that.. i heard some say is hiccups, some say they are coughing.. lolx
 
these days have been experiencing cramps... i hope its normal.. and i not delivering yet... cos only 36weeks this week... i very contradicting..hahaaa.. one side of me wanted early another side of me hope it'll be later... ahahah

coughing??? my cant be...cos very long leh..how can cough so long with systematic thumping..heheh..aiyo...ya loh..always hiccups...at times like my anus oso can feel the thumping..hahhaa....very uncomfy leh...at times can last for more than 10mins..wah piang

I had some complications earlier in the pregnancy so doc say must rest, then spoke to my boss about it, he say can try to apply for no-pay leave but must finish all my annual leave first. Better lah, at least he can get a contract staff to take over my projects until I return from ML. If not, I will disappear on and off, quite disruptive.

Thanks. Can take a bit of chilli lah. I also chilli queen. My SIL scolded me the other day, say I still take so much chilli!!
 
my gynae said if carry full term or at least 38wks..bb will be ard 4kg..then will have to go for c-sect..me very worried...so the nest ard 3.6kg can liao...aiyo...me now worried manz

can take lah..but must drink like barley water ....coconut the best...so bb comes out will hv no rashes on skin....
 
Talking abt Gynae, now that I see him every week.. i feel the pain when I pay him.. coz each visit is like $70-$100+ ebven thou i had already paid $1300 for his package, yet stillhave to pay and pay... sigh... no $$ liao..
 
hey dsitan u worry that u bb is too big.. i worry that bb too small... til now i dunno his weight.. haha.. only thing gynae says its under normal range. Not to sure abt the coughing thou, that's what i read in books.. hehe.. then yr BB hiccups u got give water or not.. hahaha

if gynae said average range..then shld be ard 3.1kg...cos my gynae said avg weight is 3.1kg...so still not that bad...aiyo...when is he coming out??? aiyo....shang nou jing oh...
y u paid the package still need to pay $$$ everytime???? me paid deposit for package..then hor..only pay for medication if i finish loh..no need pay extra leh?? issit for those tests u taking??

Looks like so far, none of us have popped earlier other than those with C-sectin? For my sis, her first kid was almost a month earlier and her labour was only two hours!! Lucky eh? My mum says lots of walking helps to speed up labour... so lookslike we have an excuse to do more shopping..Hehhehe

lala - Some ppl say the bottles will crack after awhile and that won't be too good. Maybe the plastic bags will be better.

oooh, i see. ok now i see where the concerns are. eh...i also scared of the pain ah....but then ah...dun think too much of it lah. we sure can endure lah, watever comes our way.

I paid $900 deposit for my gynae's package & I dun have to pay anything during my visit since my 5th mth leh.
 
Dsiitan dont worry too much... all will be in place when BB is out, plus u have experience in takin care of newborn, not like me new bird... Worse come to worse u just take care of BB and leave everything to yr lao gong?

I also not very sure why is the bill is so ex. THe first time I went is to pay for the CTG scan, plus jab and medication. 2nd time I pay is for the culture test..

In fact the ave $$ i paid for each visit (without scan) is ard $70+ for medication, if with the detail scanning in hospital have to add another $105 in....
 
YB, Yah loh.. somemore my package is $1600 (inclusive of delivery, but natural only), so far i paid $1200 liao, the rest of $400 is upon delivery. i guess the package is only for consultation fees bah.

A typical breakdown is like:-
Urine test: $5
PP sugar: $20
Medication: $50+ (depending on how much n what u take) + 5% GST.
 
paranoidmummy -When I signed up for my pkg, it stated that the pkg cover all scheduled appts, urine dip stick test up to delivery. Mine also cover all types of delivery, all hospital visits after delivery and post delivery check-up. However, the pkg do not cover the 3 scans (that's additional).

I think CTG and Cuture test is not inclusive in the package. If u just go and see him without all the test, u shldnt be paying anymore.
Must ask lah if not u end up paying so much.

The clip, yah i know Ikea is selling. I was thinking to use rubberband if i cant get it in time. Very lazy to tried to Ikea.

Jadepearl, $1800 is very reasonable as compared to mine. I forgotten abt the package details le. Anyway, I told myself I wont go back to this gynae if i have no2.. that time i was abit paranoid coz got threathen miscarriage, so i wanted someone to "take care" of me ASAP and I heard the sooner u signed up for the package, the cheaper it is.. So I signed up upon my 2nd or 3rd visit which was when I was 2mths pregnant.

Now that I felt the ache of paying I just hv myself to blame and make sure I dont repeat the same mistake (without sourcing for more info) the next time...
 
paranoidmummy - I too was like yourself ~ Threatened Miscarriage also. Thankfully, Dr.LC Cheng was recommended to me and I felt much better after that. He is indeed a sweet sweet caring obgyn. BTW, who is your doc and where are you delivering?
 
hong, the so called "extras" i am paying is for the urine tests, blood test (PP sugar coz i am aneamic, always have to test for haemoglobbin count) and medication. I always ask for breakdown thats why i know the cost, otherwise I just gong gong pay....

Mine was also recommended, at first I was seeing this other gyane which charges ard $1200 for normal and C-section. One of the cheapest so far...but i find him abit attitude problem, although my hubby likes him coz dun have to wait for so long. This current one got to wait for at least 40mins before yr turn....my each visit last ard 1-2 hours (thats if u are early for appt, say 2.00pm and u reach like 1.40pm?)

I will be delivering in GlenE, he's Dr P Chew.
 
paranoidmummy - OIC. That means, your room charges are not inclusive either. So, have you booked your room? Any upgrades?

TMC has promo rates when I booked. So, quite OK lor. Some more can deduct from Medisave.
 
I;ve booked double room. No upgrade I guess. Coz GlenE only got 2 bedded and single bedded the rest are all suites... Which are like much more ex.

heard it's good sign that bb is growing. my bb hicupps everyday for quite a long time too. sometimes can be annoying espectially when i am trying to nap.
 
millie - same here, contractions stronger and painful, waterbag burst or bleeding then go to hospital was all he said too. Also, he told me BB is head down, engaged and low. So, now, we wait.
