I see most of u getting mamy poko diapers.. my friend who's having 2nd bb, recommended sealer.. i bought 10 packs during JL sale leh.. each pack has i think 24 pcs.. only$4plus per pack.. she say very good... and can last thru the night.. no need to change..

U all have been talkign abt papaya soup... me feel like tryign too..ehheee.. but i very scare to cook fruits leh.. liek will turn out soft and slimy.. will it?

me dunno leh...cos i havent try the soup yet..but joline tried liao..she said soup very nice...so think shld be ok bah...dun get the ripe one loh...so wont easily become soft ...

All of you are much better than me, cos I am home alone most of the time except when hb comes back. Best part is hb asked me to call cab when want to deliver(if he is not around)...hahaha...dunno if i can endure the pain during that time. Then call up my sis to meet me at the hospital. Sigh... bo bian, staying far from parents n PIL.

i also got soft stool problem but definately not diahorrea type juz feel like going to toilet a few times a day. stomach super tight like going to explode anytime. reaching 38 weeks this weekend.

hoping bb comes soon but dun really know what to expect. scared i can't recognise labour pain.

You bought 10 packs of Sealers!! so many?? People tell me not to buy too many NB diapers in case it's a big baby then before we can finish the diapers must change to a bigger size.. I bought only 2 packs, then 1 pack of fitti, not enough then ask hubby go out and buy :p

alone at home not that bad lah...cos hor whatever u do nobody control...hehe..so not that stress loh..ya loh..must tok to bb...ask him/her guai guai...be good...my #1 was delivered at mt e..then hor..that time i kept telling him not to come out during peak hrs cos orchard sure jam one...then hor..then my water bag burst in the 230am..somemore sunday morning..hehe...my hubby shot all the way to mt e..hehe..gd hor..so this time i oso tok to my #2..ask him to be gd like kor kor...

i oso bought 2 packs NB too...cos hor at times the weight buay zhun one...who knows the bb got big butt..hehehe...also must depends ont he diapers cutting..some big yet some small...

i was thinking of taking comfortable good bath before go hospital when time comes. bcos i think we dun bathe in hospital immediately after birth right? that means a few days dun bathe....

hmm...still can loh..but depends...last time my wasterbag burst..but that time i dunno waterbag burst loh..so went back to bed..then 2 hrs later...contraction..by that time i think i must go hosp liao..so quickly woke hb up...me then go shower and wash hair...then rush to hosp loh...think can lah..cos my fren hor.she more gd ah..she was at orchard shopping...then waterbag burst..she finished her shopping then take cab home shower then to hosp...super ah...hahahaa

ya have to take a shower b4 go hospital la. else next few days sure suffer cos cannot bathe until discharge.

i just pray i can tahan the pain n get out of the house safely...anyway, most of the time i think bb won't pop so fast.

then i think can la. heard n read so many cases all similar to your fren's case. they very steady. so i guess i should be ok, so long as dun panic, can liao but hb has to drive super fast back from MY if he's not in town. Hehe...

I bought nepia diapers NB size and sealer too at the motherhoodfair, actually I regretted buying NB size coz siccalrly BB more than 3 kg then cannot wear hor?

I also feel like trying the papaya soup leh, i just called my granny, she says she never cook before.. so I guess i have to teach her...but hor, i got to dig out the thread on the recipe first. Anyone knows it is achieve under what date?

I dont have soft stools, instead i constipate.... been 2 or 3 day ssince i go toilet liao.. so uncomfy sometimes...

Any mummies here now how to see if your baby is dropping ( moving lower to your pelvic area ) like going to POP soon.

I bought the mama bottom spray yesterday. Someone in this forum said it's good for healing of wounds for those going for natural birth. It's made of witch hazel and i read that witch hazel is very good for healing. You can get it at Suntec. I bought a small bottle, only 20 dollars ...Hope this helps.

NB diaper shld be ok for the 1st month. I got 2 pack of Nepia and i think i will finish it cos i dun intend to use nappy this time. Sealer is also gd but come in smaller qty per pack.

what shld be the healthy NB weight range? My lecture told me not to exceed certain weight range else either mummy or child will have high risk of getting diabetic next time.

You can get it at moms essentials at level 3, Suntec, opposite Toys R'us. It's a shop in the centre. They sell lots of organic stuff suitable for pMTbs and babies. They also have this herbal thing for you to soak you wound in.

Ya, you can spray on your wound. In US, they provide witch hazel pads which promotes healing. But I doubt in S'pore , we have such witch hazel pads. SO the spray should be good. I've packed the spray in my maternity bag already...Heee...

7 pounds should be about 3.5kg?? I'm 36 weeks now but I'm still running about. I just can't sit still and continue to go for my gym and yoga class...Hee....

Any mummies know after delivery, when we are about to latch on, if the milk ducts are blocked, I heard that the nurse will come and clear the ducts for you. But how they clear the ducts?

May, when spray on the wound, will the wound be painful?

MTDT, I read it from the past months threads that those mummies have given birth, but I have forgotten which month and the hospital as some time ago liow. I only remember that they say very painful, that's why I am wondering how they do it.

hong, I also like to see myself with my big watermelon tummy in the mirror now but my tummy got dark patches all over, not nice leh...I feel myself very bo liow also. hehehe...

Ya, but I do light exercises like brisk walking and stationary bikes. Quite fun. Think BB loves it too cos she kicks a lot whenever i exercise. Exercsing also allows me to sleep better in the nite too. As for yoga, i do feel more clumsy now. But it's pre-natal yoga, so its good for MTBs!

u shld go! I rbr my sister told me she got block duct and MRS Wong helped her to clear her duct by massaging and using a very powerful pump.
I think the visit cost her $50.

Mrs Wong even demo and showed my BIL. She asked my BIL to help my sister if she had the same problem again.

Had a fright on Tues, on the way to work, hb's car got rammed from behind. I am in the back seat.

Had a bit of backkache after tat, went to see gynae, did a CTG, gynae checked & bb is ok.
Now a bit scared still, esp when the cars braked.
Cant sleep on Tues nite, Wed I took leave so today juz came to work. 2 days din work, kinda sianz to be back.

I study Nutrition. Mummy with diabetic during prenancy normally will recover with care in their diet. But if baby weight over healthy range ( over weight) according to my lecture, either one will get diabetic later in their life.
I have been watching my weight gain since 2nd trimester and make sure my urine test strip don't turn green for sugar in urine every time i go see my gynea.

Must ask your hubby to drive carefully. I alway grumble at my hubby if he brakes suddenly or drives to fast.

Where do you stay?? You should be able to get coconut at all the touristy hawker centres...like newton circle or east coast park hawker centres, lau pa sat?? I had mine at whampoa hawker centre.

Tues went see gynae, bb not yet engaged, bt these 2 days felt the pelvic aching & heavy. Next visit wd be next Thurs.

Btw, u all bought the herbal for bathing during confinement already? Fu Hua has rite? Isit powdery or leafy??
