I'll probably be early because of the planned c-sect. But our EDD is only 3 days apart.
Now a bit kanchiong, keep thinking about things that I may have left out or haven't done.
I think everyone is having sleepless nights. The other night, got sudden craving for coffee, took one package and couldn't sleep for the entire night.

I agree with you. It's getting difficult to sleep at night especially after drinking coffee. Then ended up with panda eyes, hehehe...
Sometimes hb wakes up n see me eyes wide opened, he got a shock! Then baby keep exercising in the middle of the night, aiyo, headache...

The pre-delivery expenses is the delivery package of the gynae. We can claim abt $450 to cover this.

Which white fish you referring too? Is it white bait fish? White bait fish is something like silver fish but bigger. Silver fish is a little transparent while white bait fish is usually bigger and more fleshy. coffeeshops use it to fry with eggs omlette. The big deep sea fish called"nguo he", v expensive sold in wet market is the thread fin. All the old people say must cook this type of fish for toddlers and children, and confinement must eat this fish. Personally, i don't believe it so..hehe... . I prefer, cod, salmon as they are more healthy.
White snapper, never heard of. But red snapper is quite a common fish. but maybe the white snapper is the paler colour red/pink skin whic people use to cook curry fish head..why you ask???

Ya, I am also getting a bit restless waiting for bb to pop. Another 2.5 weeks more to go. Somemore hb not in town during weekdays. He'll only be back on weekends, sianz alone at home. I so worried if baby pops without daddy around...but bo bian cos he has to work...

fruitee, i also the same.. my eyes are so puffy and got dark circles. my hubby say how come like that.. i told him coz he slept like pig never noticed how late or rather "early" i sleep at night...

my house here liao, because i pregg and the 7th noth thingy, cannot start renovaton... hopefully can move in in sept. but sian lah, we just stay opp block, so anytime they can come over and irritate me... hopefully by then i ok liao, coz maybe now preg so abit emotional and things ike that.
ytd that stupid dog suddenly barked and scare me and BB, coz BB gave a sudden jerk in my tummy, i told my hubby, he say must be i scolded the dog that's why he so fierce! wa.. dog also wanna protect leh!

same here i also scare that when bb pop hubby not around.... somemore he needs to travel to malaysia every now and then, sicarly he stuck in causeway jam when i abt to deliver.
moreover his reservist starts in july, not too sure if he can leave or what..

fruitee i am not too sure either...but i rather he be on reservist, then chances are he dont have to travel across the causeway/

like all of you juz waiting to pop. everything ready. lucky hb never restrict my movements, instead it's my parents who are so worried for me. anyway doc adviced if going out juz remenber to carry a sanitary pad along incase water bag reptures. he assured me it's won't be gushing sort but more like leaking if it does burst.

lollypop, actually hor, i dont know... i just got a feeling that i will be at home when my water bag burst or tummyache.. and hubby not at home. end up i have to go hospital w my MIL (which i dreaded!! coz she will be more gan cheong than me and make me even luan!) n by the time my hubby rush to the hospital i am already done with labour liao. that's also the reason why i never put maternity bag in hubby's car.

cos joline taught me to prepare fish papaya soup loh...and the receipe stated white fish...so today i went ntuc to look for white fish..but dun hv leh..got white snapper..then others like white XX fish...not the silver fish cos she said either fish fillet meat or fish tail or even fish bones...silver fish like ikan bilis one rite??? so now i blurz loh

just confirmed wif gynae that i will deliver via c-sec at exactly 38 wks, which will be 1st wk of july - 2 wks from now. getting panicky just thinking about it. wondering if i shld continue to work until then, to avoid thinking abt it.

I have same feelings as you about popping when husband not in Singapore!! Have you thought about who is going in to delivery ward with you? I think I rather go in on my own then have mil stressing me out.

I a bit easier than you as in I don't stay with them, but within walking distance. My plan is to settle down in hospital then call. If not sure they will ask me to wait for them to come over and take taxi go hospital together.

u gals bought the herbs for bathing during confinement??? hock hua $1 per pack..so thinkning of going compasspoint to get mine..hehe...must get liao cos dunno when will pop.these 2 days tummy very tight..then cant walk fast..cos very pain...last nite like got braxton hicks..cos tummyache like wanna go lao sai leh...can we called TMC to ask whether our admission done liao or not har? scare wait pop havent done admission dunno sleep where..hahaha

my granny is takin care of my confinement needs i think she will buy them at those medical hall shops.. not too sure how much thou. my tummy also very tight, but strangely i dont get the contraction leh.

joline, my reno abit complicated, coz we do up all our rooms... so according to the contractor it wil take 6-8 weeks to finish. now haven start yet....coz he's still doing the drawings. so the fastest i can move in is also sept or oct.

I cook for 3 hours... with 1.5L... if you cook less then I think 2.5 hours should be enough.. by the way, if you pre-fried the fish after one hour can smell the soup fragrance liao.. my fren said her mum dry fry the black bean before put into the slow cooker.. will make the soup taste nicer.. if this weekend got time I might wan to try this method..
