Zita, initially we planned to have it on tis sun..Hong got a party invitation on that day, she asked what time we want but we did not confirm. Btw, I am bringing Cel for a Art class trial tis sun from 10 - 11.30am..so if Hong/dsii/u r available in the afternoon & still keen to have the session, we can do it at say 3pm on Sun??
 
For those interested in the mini sun power saver, I am getting closer to the actual company which send their products for PSB/PUB testing. I think I would rather get from them instead even if it is slightly higher as no other company(Except 1) have sent the products for PSB test.

Point to note, for those low in electricity bills, you might only see a slight drop in your bills.

I will keep everyone updated again tomorrow.

Ya lor, i switch off everything... if bedside lamp not using.. that power is also off! hahaha but if you switch off the main power, really can save alot of electricity leh!

Iron- those with maid who does a lot of ironing, ask them dun take their own sweet time. Iron all d very crease clothing first, then switch off n use d remaining heat to iron d less crease ones

Big main water heater as compared to small individual ones in d bathroom.

Vacumm cleaner more than 1000 watts, if use everyday lagi shiong so use broom or magic clean sweeper more frequently.

Electric kettle more than 1000 watts

We are very pleased this morning cos Julian does not cry when we leave the center. So proud of him! hahaha..

Ya, i also off main switch for everything, other than fridge. Really saves lotsa elec for appliances on idle mode. Even for xmas tree, i also bought LED fairy lights as it consumes lesser elec.

I dun use vacumn cleaner. I use magic clean mop instead. Haha.

Just chked wif my hb. He said we bought the energy saver at around $150. But he also claimed not to waste $$ on energy saver. Wheather an energy saver helps to save energy or not depends on the load factor of the appliances in your hse.

Usually, there'll be some loss of energy in the appliances used i.e. heat loss. If ur appliances are those very gd ones with load factor above 80%, then using energy saver will not help save $$. The only way to find out if u need an energy saver is to test the load factor of all your appliances at hm. ;)

Now, I have another question for myself...since my hb claim energy saver doesn't work, then why does he still on the saver 24/7!!!!!????? MEN!!!!

anyone heard of Star Learners or the previous Poppets in Sembawang? I just went there to take a look and the environment is evry good and most importanly, non-aircon. Fees quite reasonable $300 per mth.

Tot of withdrawing from learning vision at RP tho it's only $150... Comments?
