If i am not wrong bullet/supporitory is not to be given to kid less than 1yo.

As for viral fever will last a week. The 1st 3 days can be high fever from 38 - 39degree.

it is very possible that the fever viral creep in during his teething timing thus complicate the matters.

Pearl powder is mild but can be very effective sometime. My ger always take that when she got alot of phlegm, too heaty and fever.

Just back from the BJG, I find that overall the trial is so so only, maybe I hv high expectation since I hv heard alot of ppl said that it is good. But it is still worth considering signing up since it is near to my house.

U can can get pearl powder at most chinese medical hall, including "Fu Hua", they will grind the pearl on the spot, usually 1 "qian" = $20 = 2 feeds. Eu Yan Sang also have ready packed one in bottle, sligthly more expensive. Hope the infor help..
 
Helo... ya lor.. was already late.. then the twins woke up and hb was busy slpg.. so couldnt leave the hse till even later. hai.
think the trial is quite nice actually. if i have only one child and stay in the west i'll prob sign up for Germayn..but well..this is not the case. hehe.

Anyway, after coming home, i brought my boy to the doc. he was having fever, diarrhoea, and was vomitting. hai. and he's refusing to eat. but thank goodness he's still drinking water. So all he had today was one pc of bread, which he prob puked out already. Then today's a scary night again, cos hb just went out..and i guess he wont be back till 2am (earliest), and my boy and Germayn are slpg with me. Think it's going to be a slpness night.

like Poohy mention u can go to medical hall to get $20 for 2 feed.
For us, my MIL will go and choose the pearl herself and then see the person grind into powder. She very particular person so she believe those bottle may mix some other stuff in.

try to feed ur boy as much water as possible. Even if he doesnt want any. Got to keep him hydrate.

hong, ya... hope he'll get better soon. brought him to those 24 hour clinic to see doc. then the doc is young and handsome, so i sort of feel that he isn't that reliable. hahah. will monitor and see how it goes.. if he doesnt get better tomorrow morning i might bring him to Dr Sim.

yes..we were once party animals..actaully we still are..hahaha..just that now more commitments so cannot suka suka go dirnk lah...clubbing lah..last time no kids...so can do watever or go wherever we like..hmm..really missed those days!!!if i hv caregiver, most probably will chiong once more..but..but...haiz...hahaha

anyway, i might not be able to go to MTDT's house later cos my boy is still having diarrhoea and vomitting. He was having high fever ytd night so i inserted the bullet for him..and his fever subsided.. but he poo-ed 3 times during the night, and vomitted once. sigh. then he's slpg now, so im taking the time to pump. Then i realise my hb is really a super heavy sleeper. sigh. ytd night, he came back at abt 2+am, as expected, and fell aslp soon after. then when the both of them woke up, i tried to handle them myself both continued to cry and wanted to be carried, so i finally woke hb up and scolded him. told him they've been crying for so long and he's not even helping out. then he told me he couldnt hear them cry. then ok lor..nothing i can say. bu4 zhi1 zhe3 wu2 zui4..so bo bian. then when we finally pacify them, he slpt with my son on the mattress and i slpt with baby on the bed. then my son cried and i woke up, and baby woke up also for milk. then i latched her and kept asking my hb to wake up but he's still continued to slp. my son was just slpg beside him lor. wah lao. then i had to stop feeding germayn, go right in front of him and screamed at him to wake up. i think he's really... horrible..as in.. ive nv seen someone who slps like that lor.

Z-lia - Sorry to hear abt Kai. You must be super tired and still hav to pump milk! OMG! You're good man. Think my hubby in this sense is better than yrs, coz he's quite light sleeper so will wake up at the slightest noise but also because of that, he choose to sleep in the living room or another room so that he wont hear Emerson's cry. Haha.

I am like 20 week preg then, so tiring for me. My MIL never spare a thought for me that I need to wake up early etc. Die Die want her so call auspisious timing 6 am. But end up we reach her house at about 0900.

hope your BB will recover soon. Have u brought her to see doc ? It sound so familar to my niece 's symtoms. She always have fever , diarrhea etc.

Haha last time only study so still free to baby sit my HB's niece for a few hour. She is now 4 yr old though seldom see her already but she still like to call me JIU MAAAAAAA !!!! so sweet. Don't know why my attitude to my own son so different. (Funny)

hong, PM, i actually duno what it is also... abit scared. he was slightly better today... at least he had the strength to hit his twin sister. haha. but it became worse again just now. his hand was at his tummy and he was like.. kiu until his knees were at his tummy. think his tummy must be really painful. then i called my hb and while i was trying to explain the situation to him (it took him so long to understand what i was saying. all he kept saying was he can't hear me), my boy fell aslp. then just now, he woke up again, and lao sai-ed... and fell aslp again. im not sure what i can do.. and my husband always seems to be too 'rational' and 'calm' to feel anything is wrong.

RRREALLY sorry!!!!! i still remembered abt the milk tin until my sister in law came and then i hurried off today. If hubby free can arrange to pick up from my home. If not, i heard from JP next mth there is another gathering. Will promise to bring!!!! My maid says that kristen is such a beautiful baby and she likes her so much. The aloe vera gel is the pure aloe vera. Can use for bites. I'm not sure whether they will remove those dark scars but they really help to reduce the swelling if you apply it on the bite asap few times a day. a small bite can swell up to 1 to 2 cm in diameter. very very ugly. For me, we sleep air con becoz the mozzies are really fierce too. Combat trained. Even bite us if air con not cold enough.

Hows baby??? OK??? Since you going to states soon, maybe you want to stock up certain things to bring to US. Like the cooling pad to stick on forehead. Those cooling pillow that you can place the bb on etc....

My elder gal kana few times like yr son case, similar to yr son...keep complaining of tummy pain pain, TLS & merlion, got to take tube-like supplement cos no food intake at all.My fren's son who is 3 yrs old recently kana similar case, think is there is some kind of stomach virus in the air, will take 1-2 weeks for full recovery. Must watch his diet, hope he will be well soon..
 
1-2 weeks.... oh no.... he has no appetite to eat also, but im thankful that he's willing to drink water. i hope he feels better soon.. cos he can't really express himself..so i think he's very xing ku.
