I am used to come over to batam once a month,all baby need is easy to get over there and price is cheaper also ,like diapers,FM,only similac that not available in the market,becareful when taking taxi,better not wear so many jewellery and watch out your wallet when you go out shopping,a lot pick pocket

my PD also from MtA,Ho Chin Seng,he will be in MtA in the morning,afternoon and evening he is at clinic,upper thomson road,he charge $45 for consultation,his clinic open untill 8.30 pm,he is good,may be you can try.I always bring my son to his clinic in the evening for injection ,no need to queue so long
 
oh..sandy..think dr sim's consultation is cheaper...hmmm...dunno the exact fee..but the 1st time i went to see him consultation + cream for eczema + hep B 2nd dose ..i paid $47....
 
YB,

Not so much of cooking but baking. I used to cook very frequently but then later got job and all then never cook during that period. Now since SAHM, I decided to pick it up again. Yesterday tried to make pineapple tarts and was a roaring success. HB ask me to bake and sell but I paiseh lah... only bake for family and some close friends. Cait been v. patient with me, at least she sit on her walker and see me bake only occassionally ask me to carry her. Then gotta wait until my mum comes over to look after her then i can continue baking.

Ylc, u made 40 tarts? That time I tried, 100 tarts... tired.. I made til 5am in the morning coz I start 11pm in the morning.

Sandy same here.. plus my boy dont want to sit in the pram make everything worse.

Oc - Faulty arh? What went wrong?

Bday bash - Im IN for it, other than that, i will celebrate Emerson's bday on his actual day too.

Sling - Dont know where I chuck it liao.

Shopping with hubby - My hubby and I like to shop, but we will go our own separate ways when we shop even pak tor days. Coz when he sees his stuff i be bored and v.v, so to save time we go separate ways..If i ask a comment abt clothes or something, he wil say its either ugly or aunty, or now he likes to say i look fat in it! End up I always empty handed when I shopped with him.

bb zav is sooo busy!!! :p

Sandy personally I find that babies under 1 shld go see a PD instead of GP if they are sick. My experience with GP are not that good, coz they always assume my boy to have just viral infection and I only discovered its something else when I visit PD the 2nd time. Bu my boy takes his injection at a GP clinic, but the doc is a PD-trained.

Do you think bbs get cough drinking fruit juice from heinz/gerber? My mum said my bb developed cough after drinking just 20ml of it...:-(

Today, we went to see PD. My baby developed rashes on her face and elbow some time ago. PD said she has ecezma

So, it is better to switch her to soy based milk and if possible, to continue breastfeeding. Also have to keep her moisturised at all times.

Yup. Eczema have to keep mositurising dilligently. Did PD said it's caused by food also? Since our bb are taling solids now.

Mayb the fruit juice is put in the frigde tat's y caused cough? I normally leave the fruit on my countertop for a while before preparing for my gal. Not suitable to let our bb eat/drink cold food/drinks now.
 
YB, PD looked at the list of food I have introduced to baby and said those food should not cause eczema. Now, just take one step at a time. Start with soy based milk for a few days first and see if she is OK with it. If yes, then proceed to give her semi solids again. This time round, will have to introduce new food at a four days gap and watch out for any reactions.

The insurance is called NTUC Managed Healthcare Scheme. It covers hospitalisation but it's minimal. Obviously not as attractive as if you were to get a normal hospitalisation insurance like incomeshield but you can always get that separately cos it's quite cheap. http://www.income.coop/insurance/mhs/

What's the reason babies can't be fed cold foods? Dylan loves yoghurt which is served cold. And sometimes his fruit puree at the end of his warm meals I serve cold as well. I'm wondering if there's a medical reason.

Dylan used to have a bit of eczema on his face and scalp and we found that Oilatum Bath Formula really helps. You might be able to find it in pharmacies here. We also moisturised with an emollient like E45 a few times a day.

i made 40 tarts in the evening then when my girl goes to bed then i made another 50tarts. think i went to sleep at 3am.

i intro cait new food every week. dare not give her variety everyday. let her try peas n she broke out in rashes so now i know cannot take peas.

today cait is in a chatty mood. keep talking n talking n saying mama mama. it just made my day! brought her shopping today. bought so many things for her instead of myself haha was only intending to get her a baptism dress but ended up getting her 3 dresses, 2 pairs socks, 2 shoes, one bag, 2 sleeping tops. haha what a fanatic shopper i am! and i have not even found a nice dress for her baptism on sunday!
 
Re. shopping - I was working half day on Tuesday and decided to get some new Dr Brown Level 2 teats for my girl (she was happily using Level 1 teats for the past 6 mths).. Somehow landed myself in Takashimaya LV and nearly ended up buying a baggie..

Imagine going out with a shopping list for a $10 item and coming home with purchases (or 2 purchases to be exact) amounting to more than $1k.. The key word is "nearly" so, I'm still not $1k poorer.. Hahah, think my brain is telling me to make up for lost time in material acquisition..

Pineapple tarts!! YUM YUM!! I tried making with a couple of friends last year.. Was great cos my friend's maid, who's a great cook and baker, helped. This year I surrender to my daughter, didn't even attempt to bake butter cake! Kudos to you ladies for successful baking with a 6mth old kid!

i give my boy the same MAG MAG cup... but he just use it to play insteal of drinking. My mother also pamper him so much ( never let him learn to hold) so he is now SUPER lazy.

my boy still not well.. just bring him to PD. I spent $75.00 altogether. Hope the $$ worth sepnding. So heart pain to see my baby crying when the PD do suction to remove pelgm for him...
