Yes, gynae will wear gloves when he examine me internally. And he did put some gel on the glove. When u're in labour, the nurses will also check for dilation, they'll do the same to you too. Not to worry, just a little discomfort, u just got to relax.
 
paranoidmummy, how come leh? Did u check wif ur gynae? For me, its more like walk too much or lying down then i breatheless. A colli asked me 2 chk wif my gynae loh.

sandy, as in.. bb head down bt not yet to the pelvic. Bt i felt pain in the lower abs since last few days loh.
Wow.. u have already book the buffet? I dunno if want, coz dun like to tidy up after tat. Hee... Mite juz arrange 2 or 3 tables & invite relatives.

fruitee, nope.. HR wd do tat mah.. anyway, mgr said a colli intro his frd, mite take her if this 1 din turn up.
So u gonna stay alone @home from next week onwards? SK not very near TMC rite?

Hello MTBs,
Check with you, do you or will you be using safety pin or tummy binder for the cloth nappies? If is tummy binder, what brand did you buy?
 
I used safety pins on cloth nappies for my 1st child... but for my 2nd, I didn't cause couldn't find the pins I bought so make to do... then realise that I don't really need the safety pins as I use the plastic pants on top of the cloth nappies.

jazzyjas, i think i experience the same thing as u last 2 weeks ago.. ask my gynae say bb is pressing down that's why... but now the pain goes off already.. maybe urs will goes off too...

Hi stephanie, my due date is also 27 july too! but gynae said might be early.. how u doing? Wah this is ur 3rd pregananc! and only 24!! i am already 29.. and this is only my first bb.. btw i dun hav pink form leh..

btw r we suppose to recieve a letter from our gynae? I booked my bed already at kkh, private suite.. they gave me some form of comfirmation already.. u mean there's more?

wah.. lollypop.. i must salute to u.. but good also as u hav explain, if not scare alot of complication later..
 
misaryeo - Cool... dunno if we'll deliver on the same date... I'm doing okie but very tiring cause still got to look after my 2 monkeys... lol.

Me subsidised patient, they used to staple the admission form to the appointment booklet and we should bring it to the delivery suite when its time... but this time round, I don't rem having one...

Think urs is different cause urs private, can book the bed... for subsidised patients, cannot book bed one...

oh i c... i also blur blur.. they give me wat i just take.. i was only told if anything just bring the card and ic to the delivery suite on level 2..

if u are using nappy, u got to change very often cos the nappy wun keep the baby bottom dry. I tried to let my gal wear nappy and i realised she didnt sleep very long so her constant wet nappy wakes her up.

Really give up so i just used diaper.

i tried Select and Jack's place. During my gal full month, Jack's place is very gd but when i reused them during my gal 1 r old bday, the standard drop.

I tried Angeli, i find the food is very nice as well.

I tired Neo garden cos a few friends got from them, but i dun really like.
 
I helping neighbour to sell her cot but not really cheap... $220 but can help neg to $180 (hahah neighbour nice lady), from infant cot to toddler bed. Got 3 levels if I'm not wrong so can be also a play pen.

Hong, yah loh.. me no fix gynae one... During delivery gynae also won't come one cause during preg, me no complications. Mid wife and doc on duty will be there.
 
Lala (tealeaf) - No Prob... but I only use cloth nappies during day time, night time used to use diapers. I feel that babies sleep longer like that and also gives them a feel of difference between day and night.
But cloth diapers very cost effective cause babies urine and poo v often especially breastfed babies...
 
fruitee, Me is PGL to GlenE. Ur hb & mum ok for u to stay at home alone? Coz mine not really loh.. tat's y am thking if ML take too early, where sd i go? To mum's place wd meant waking up same time as working.

lala, i thk if u fold down the top of the nappy, u dun have to use a safety pin.
 
There is a plastic nappy holder. Safer than using safety pin. No very common but can try finding in the website for it.

Think if contraction come or waterbag burst, I just call hb, he will come back to drive me to hospital loh.. if I go my mum's place, also the same ley... or take taxi.. both ways.. so think I stay at home lua until I happy & wait loh..

Oop went for check up today, cervix 2cm dilute, contraction till (100) 15min apart (I dont feel any pain)...gynae give 2 option either to choose date to induce or wait for stronger contraction or water bag burst...!

Aiyo which is better har? i scare thrashold to strong till i cant detect when to go hospital leh... Headache... Oso dont noe how long, should i still go back work? any advise?

By the way, for breastfeeding, is it better to store extra milk in milk bottles or storage bags?
 
hi jazzy, mine is on 2 sides of pelvic.. and the lower abs area.. and also inner thigh pain... it was quite bad cos i remembered i was sweating while lying down on the bed..

Hi zita.. i think u monitor ur contraction or wait for water bag to burst.. shld be soon that u going to deliver...i think lah.. but i not experience mummy.. let's see wat the rest say..

I feel the pain near the lower abs area and pelvic area. Ohya! Both the inner thigh too, like going to break especially after walk too long or do household. Think both of my legs cant support my weights liao!

i also experience that sort of tightening with mild cramps over the last few days especially in the evenings.

went to see doc juz now for scheduled check up and he said bb not engaged yet and since still got abt 10 days to edd, can afford to wait. he din do VE though. said once reach edd than consider to induce.

bb already reached a plateau in her growth i.e not gaining a lot of weight nor increasing in size so he recommend to wait max 2 days after edd to induce.

now praying hard that bb will come out within the next one week. dun want to be induced as much as possible.

oh yes, better not go back to work lah!!
 
Tks all, Normally if induce need very long hr to deliver izit? I very tired to wait till EDD liao...heehee! n veri unpredictable...so scarey.

Aiya,U noe me on 5wk mc liao since may, so Mc end today n doc encourge me to go back to work , she say walk more, cervix open faster, contraction faster, water bag burst faster wow...! but paiseh right???

Millie, Did doc do CTG for u? me also mild cramp, lower portion especially evening. Check with Doc today she say norm cause baby engaged head down leh.

Y dun u jus admit yourself to the hospital and let things go natural.. No need to induce if not necessary..

I learnt from prenatal class.. induce more painful.. your contraction will be ongoing
 
me oso buay tahan..me only 34 weeks..but i hope baby will come out real soon...haiz...dunno why my belly button there always pain leh....
