me found out that you need to have someone from hokkien huay kwan to "sponsor" you to join and apparently someone told me each sponsor their whole lifetime can only sponsor 1 person to go in ..as for how true is that i am not sure...

Wah... Waitlist 2011! My goodness! Just told my mum if I can move to Penang. wahahaha... There much cheaper, no need waitlist. Just pay and can go into good ones already.

Heard there's another SM similar school at Bugis. Direct competitor! Cheaper by a few hundreds. But I dunno exactly where.

chat with you here cos i know that for the hokkien clan, you need 2 existing member to nominate you to be a member at least 3yrs before enrollment.
Nan hua is not linked...my big boss is linked to nan hua and i was told that he help his staff to 'send' their kids in.
Maybe if i move near you then will consider nan hua! haha..

Really ah?? Are the other schools really not good? I live near a neighbourhood school, with so-so reputation only. So, won't do?
Heard that St Kilda seems to be "the" school around the North East area. But hard to get in.
Kinddy also need to waitlist....tsk, tsk.....

think i will start only after she turns 2 or after my #2 is here as i will hv more free time durin my maternity leave to source ard. nowadays, too heavy to go ard w her. she is so active these days.

1) Zoophonics @ Imperial Court is one of my best option cos her nanny stay in that condo. They have both English and Mandarin classes for twice a wk, 2hrs (Wed & Fri, 9-11am). The wkend one (Sun, 9.45-10.45am) is only 1hr and solely on English. But i hv yet to go n take a look on how the class is conducted.
2) This one is a kindergarden. Singapore Montessori @ Windsor Park. Only accept toddlers frm 2yrs old onwards. Daily wkday playgrp for 3 hrs. Frm word of mouths, this is quite a good kinder. This is different from the Thomson IMM

3) Cherie Hearts at Thomson Branch (Jalan Gelenggang)
It's a shophouse. Quite spaceous and bright there. Rather new setup. My niece has juz joined there for full time CC but still unable to adapt. so now always come home after the 2nd half of the day.

Hubby is one. He said used to be falling down at the most awkward time. He is crazy about basketball so forced himself to train. Can play but more straneous than others. So, from what I found out (since it can be hereditory so better find out for my G), their feet are properly 'stablised' at around 3 yos. At the meantime, take care of the footwear they are using. Before that, can look flat but it is normal. Need to wait for the bones to 'firm up'.

I did not notice about left and right hand thingy. I read that when they pass 3 years' old, it gotta be 50% right brain and 50% left brain. Brain injured kids are more than 50% right brained. So, need balance! It's something like must train them to use their left brain to use the right brain for best results. Left brain is logic brain.

I have a friend whose dream for his son to P1 is nurture his son till very very good. Then show the abilities to the principals of the desired schools, get them to want his child in their school! So he has been working very hard in Shichida related method. He just started to send his son to May's class.

hahahaha... cos it might affect A's school leh. I dun prefer to do the job twice. A few days ago, was talking about it with my hubby whether we wanna continue to target boy's school for A lor... If boy's school, then gotta find another school for my gals leh... The easiest option is the school just downstairs. Quite a good one academically, but only not the top notch. Produced last year's top PSLE scorer.
I heard it's in Bugis. Weekday class is $600+. It's opened by David, Jocelyn's brother. The senior teachers from SM are there. That's what I heard. My teacher wanna go there too! Coincidentally, I knew someone when I attended "The Millionaire Mind" that he's an investor. He was telling me about franchise biz with David. But I dunno where I put his namecard already. Maybe gotta see if my sis still kept his namecard. hahaha...

I am worried too. Cos my hubby loves to carry A! Cos carrying A is easier than chasing after him! Now it has become a habit already. When I bring A to the market, he will walk, but with my hubby or mum around, he will want to be carried.

So glad I dun hav to restrict paper use since I lugged back 5 rolls! But Ahgirl does not seem to produce particularly scintillating art... more like painting the wall type of uniform-one-colour-on-whole-page. Ahboy's work seems promising but more messy (deviates outside easel, onto wall).

then after tine's house gathering i took Bren for his 5 in 1, 18mth shot! can u believe that he's the same wt. as anja!! anja looks so much meatier!! and they deducted 200-300grams for clothes!! uyshdkfnj!!

if it's tine bread, YUM!! i ta pao 6 buns in the oven home! karri made the YUMMIEST chilli!! i made 'san choy bao', janny made rice balls, yin leng brght syshi, mel brght hyatt cake and tine bght zhen zhu nai cha and ckn curry!! YUM YUM!!
