Both your tods are really funny. Hahah !! C used to pronounced "shoes" as "shit" !! So everytime she goes to the shoes rack & said "shit shit". Luckily now she managed to pronounced shoes correctly. My MIL initially thought she learned it from us...

That is so funny! Kell has been babbling non-stop too and at times, it seems she is talking like an Indian … and at times, some of the things that she said sounded funny … she likes to go ‘babab beee hahahah’ … so whenever hubby heard that, he will laugh and says your gal is cursing again!

i was using Ameda... it served me well for 12 mths until the motor gave way... have yet to send it for repair. But u need to hold on to the bottles when pumping unless u put them on the table.

dunno my boy will be too tired or not as his SM class ends at 12noon... so wont be having any nap time. :p so warning first - if zav starts to fuss, u gals noe why! :p
 
left/right hand - I am fine with him using any hand in future. my concern is only that his right hand is fine and not becos of any problem thus he switch to use left hand...

this change was just abt 1mth ago only... see how lah.

Oki - tat time they say liao mah. Evans hv waterplay (cannot stand in the water kind), swimming (the one tat mspiggy shows), sandplay and big big playground (tat time during hol program i experienced it). Forum only hv playground.

My boy was previouly in GUG but was getting bored so last Sat was his 2nd lesson in JGC.

MTDT - I am here. yes, i withdrew from JG. din want to start this term, stuck cos they will not return my deposit. so now, Jake has classes 7 days a week, too siong on him liao. prefer to have sunday off... cos sunday AMs, he attends church nursery for 3 hrs... to him, it's again, another class....
 
to be frank, i am utterly disappointed with JG PC. maybe it's becos it's just once a week. i felt the teachers are not passionate at all... unlike PN...
 
paula, aiyo... i am trying to free up J's classes... no room for class liao lo. dropping swim next month, dropping JG next term. prefer to laze at home and bond with J. Ha ha...

Totally agreed. The admin staff in GUG really one kind.

My boy was getting bored in GUG, if not I'll not change as United Square is more convenient for me.

JG Edudrama - I also quite interested. wat's the min age? also must waitlist huh? I tot of going for trial at JG n LW speech/drama class before deciding.

SM - those currently going SM, wat's ur plans? continuing until??
 
Actually, I prefer GUG classroom. Although is very much smaller but the tods will not be distracted by the ppl walking or toys outside.

In JGC, my boy keep asking for the playgnd. Sigh...
 
Haha... Chiltern house just called! They only accept child aged 3 years old and above. And I have to queue up now if I want to have Kell there one year down the road. Mad mad mad world!
 
MTDT - edudrama should be 2.5 years old. so our tots can start in 2009 (if i am still in Sing). ha ha... and yes... in Sing, everything gotta wait list!
 
SJC - their wait list for 2010 is full. u hv to waitlist for 2011!!!

and i heard some nanyang kindy also...

I dunno about flat feet. I was reading Shichida's book about feet development in chinese. Read till blur. Gotta read again when got time. The conclusion I get is get them to walk as much as possible. Do you know what is "jiao3 xing1"? He mentions in his book that kids who do not walk enough during the development stage do not have "jiao3 xing1". And next time will get tired easily. I am wondering is it no "jiao3 xing1" means flat feet.

From the book, visual competence is about reading. Tactile competence is about identifying by feel. Your description of tactile competence sounds more like for visual competence. Manual competence is about grasping, changing things from one hand to another, and ultimately writing.

Wah... Kell know how to enjoy foot massage already. So cute...

mspiggy - ya, must hv a min no of yrs. same with hse 1km rule and volunteer work. not u wan to enroll in 2013, start in 2012 hor. hahahah :p

My colleague was saying, even if u wan to volunteer, the sch will also interview u and see wat can u volunteer as? if nothing special hor... can REJECT ur volunteer services one. :p
