Thanks for the info on the speakers. I have never heard of them before this so have no clue about who they are ....Think currently my method lack of discipline. I am not into the commando style really. I find it really hard to be stern/firm with G....that is why hubby is complaining. Said that I gave in to her too easily....but I just don't know how to harden my heart and let her cry and scream....

She is still sleeping with us, and need me to carry her to sleep. I am "the" person she ask for if I am around, next in line is my mom then is hubby and my dad. It can be rather confusing for G, I think, with 4 adults giving contradicting instructions on certain things...though we try our best to minimise such confusions. :p

Wow, so many toys recalled...think I have to be careful with G. Getting a bit relax coz keep thinking that she is older...but really, still have risk of swallowing things.

i also have that u know... off & on!! SIGH!! tried all methods, including the vicks socks method, u tried tat? worked for some...

after much much TLC fr my other half, (touch wood!) better now. he would make HOT pee pa kao for me i hate to drink HOT stuff!! he would nag till i drink!! boy oh boy... wondre who's the 'man' of the hse sometimes or are there really 2 women!!

Mich: Ya, our thread v quiet nowadays :p Guess everyone busy.

Celeste: I tot of fixing camera at home to jaga maid as well as for me to see my son when at work or if have to go overseas for work. But hubby said wired ones messy & look ugly, then wireless ones got wave, no good for kids. So in the end never fix. Grrrr!!!

Anyway, I chose a new filipino maid last week. Since current maid want to go back, I told hub then i'll go and confirm the new maid tonight. Who knows he retorted, see other profiles whether got better ones then decide. Idiot! As if see the face know which maid is better, what's more he don't want to go down to agency to choose still talk so much. Pardon my crap, just need to vent my frustration.

So tmr who going PC's place?
 
Mich: Actually I duno the retail price. That time bot cos sale, think 1 box (contains 2 pack) is $59.95. For L size, 1 pc cost <50c. During that period PP was on sale everywhere.

amusement parks in winter!! no lah, no fun!! come in summer, the water parks VERY FUN!! but i also never been yet (water parks) only see advertisement on tv...

Just came back from the hospital. Kell had blood test taken via her arm veins and she was crying like hell ... and the nurse kept on scolding her. She ranted 'ask you don't move ... still move! See ... now struck already told you don't move you still move!' Can faint...
 
PC, Can imagine how pain is it. How can Kell don move she is only a toddler...the nurse must be crazy..
Poor kell...but how is the result..hope she is fine.

The lab results will be out this afternoon ... so have to wait hor. Yea, I tolerated in the beginning but when continued her ranting and mentioned 'ask you not to move ... i can't see now' I used the F word on her. Really bastard!

Actually she is not ill now lei ... just that she has been having frequent high fever at very close intervals ... hence, have to go for this blood test to check on her antibodies and count.

Kell also has blood in her nasal mucus too lei. Forgot to ask Dr. Lim just now but will ask him when he call later. You want to try this Dr. Lim? Celeste recommended me to him ... quite good, the only PD that Kell likes ...
 
Pauline: Your encounter with the nurse reminds me of the MMR jab that ER had at polyclinic. Doubt I'm going back there. They are so inefficient. After she instructed us how to carry him and sit on the chair, then she went to the fridge to take out the vaccine and prepare the needle. Along the way, she was coaching the other nurse on how many ml, how/what to do, etc. >5min has passed by the time she was ready to give the jab and ER already refused to sit still so I was carrying him walking in the room. The nurse still gave me the expression of 'how come not seated for the injection?' How can they expect a toddler to sit still and let u take your time your own sweet time to jab/draw blood?

I think you don't have to specially get hi-tea menu. Seems like only a few of us going. We should be ok with some drinks :p

Recall one incident

One day, we were using the lift to go downstairs. There is this gas delivery man barge in with an empty gas tank. Me and my hubby were with my girl in the lift and we could smell the gas as the lift door closed. Must be there is still some leftover in the tank.

I said: "uncle, I think the gas is leaking. Can you cover it up."
Delivery man: "Actually gas used in Singapore is very clean. Don;t worry, no harm one.bla bla... "
My hubby bua tahan liao:"But it is still gas, it is clean but still poisonous right?"
Delivery man: "No lah, no harm one."
Hubby:"Hey, we have a baby here. How can you say it is no harm? Would you let your kid be in the same situation?"
Delivery man:"No need to be so protective over you kid lah...the gas in singapore is no harm."

We got downstairs, and hubby was fumming:"Which company are you from?".
The man ran off...

Actually it is such a short distance coming down the lift and we know it probably won't cause much harm to us. But that man could have just say sorry and we will be ok...but he was adding fume!

Actually I was very depressed for the whole of last week cos my grandma passed away in china on 28 Oct suddenly and due to my work, i couldn't go back to attend her wake/funeral! My whole family was there besides me!

I was actually planning to bring my boy to China and visit her during cny but it's all too late now. She has been staying with us since i'm born and she went back to china for good in 2003.

Guess we will miss our little ones for sure! During my NZ trip last dec, basically we miss YJ much that we almost wanted to call back every hour haha! And it was such a torture because there is a big time lag between singapore and NZ. When we were on the coach sightseeing, it was only 3 am in singapore! How to call?
