Aiyo, I cannot visit the palace this Sat...sob sob... have to attend a Parenting Seminar! Can you imagine that! So that I know how to deal with my active princess... If anyone would suggest to me that I would attend a PS 2 years ago, I would have laughed my head off!

2-5 pm oso quite tough for me as well cos my ger has her swim lesson at 4 pm, by the time she finishes n we reach ur place, think u all preparing to leave liao...

Does anyone has difficulty getting our kiddos to sit and finish their food? ER seldom sit still and if he don't want to eat the food, he'll keep his mouth tightly zipped when the spoon comes near and push the spoon away. Really tough to make him eat....wondering if he's getting enough nutrition as a result. Sigh....

G would eat if she wants to. We can't force her coz she will mouth it and spit it out. That includes milk too. We have to ask if she wants milk and only give her when she says yes. Coz if she says no and we offer it to her, she would still take it but spit it out! That said, we can lure her to eat her meals with her favorite food such as peas. If she see peas with other things, it is likely that she would eat some. I am letting it be for now so long as she does take at least one meal properly per day, have plenty of fruits and drinks her milk...but I wonder, if 720 ml in total milk intake per day for our toddler is normal?

This is the PS I am attending with hubby. We have disagreement in the way we discipline G. He said I spoils her. I said he expects too much of her in terms of discipline. So, I say, we have to start attending some PS to get some expert input. Then maybe it is easier to stride a balance and minimise unnecessary conflicts. So, we will start with this one and see if it helps. This one is organised by my church. Don't know good or not coz I have never heard of them but just try lah. G is getting "too much" for me......:p I need help!

A also will not open his mouth when he dun wanna eat. I gotta prepare a few toys for him to play, then he will open his mouth. Sometimes, I will give him his bowl, fork and spoon, put some porridge in his bowl. It will be very messy, but no choice... that's the way he wants so that he will open his mouth. Sometimes, I will even put my porridge bowl in front of him and give him a spoon to scoop.

Wah... G really likes her milk. I am reducing milk for A already. Sometimes only 2 feeds of milk a day. Sometimes each feed is 150ml, sometimes 200ml, depending on whether he eats other stuffs. If he does not eat properly for his 3 meals, I will give him 600ml a day, separated into 3 feeds.

mine is the exact opposite. she loves eating, will take in anything / everything even though we can see that her little tummy is already round and full....got to stop her from eating instead.....as for milk, she drinks only abt 600ml a day, plus her 2 full porridge feeds

Yea man at least, her action tells me that she has very good common sense. Haha Did I tell you how confident she said bird when teacher Helene was flashing a flashcard with a picture of a rooster? The mother sitting beside me was laughing when she heard Kell said bird but I told her that technically, Kell is right cos rooster belongs to the bird family. Haha

Did not receive your sms lei havent brought lei! My girlfriend introduced a little tikes set to me it is bigger than the ELC set with fridge and washing machine attached to the kitchen set too I am trying to find out where I could get that instead.

I want to go for the trial too but will be in Mount Alvenia for Kells medical test at 10.00am might be 30 mins late for the class lei. Can tolerate?
