isabelle, why dun u attend the trials tat they provide and u'll get all the answers? i personally prefer gug to jg!
being an educator myself, i find gug more 'wholesome'... repetition is good for tods our age! it helps to reinforce new words/terms/actions, whereas learning too many new things may seem 'educational' and a value for money for parents it's not really suitable for our tods yet...
still yet to find a day care that provides play, music, dance, art, some phonics only!

Hmm, I haven’t been to JG so can’t comment. But I thot our children at this age learn best thru repetitive play/lessons? Are you referring to their zoo phonics lesson? Kell is attending their enrichment classes in GUG on Sunday for two terms now. I don’t find it repetitive. Every class will have a new theme, new project work and new exposure. The only repetitive item on the curriculum is the zoo phonics recitation. But it is doing her good from what I observed. She just surprised me by pointing to letter O and said ‘Oar’ just now and identify letters A, E and F and saying their sounds now. She is having fun with the project work too.

Oh yea, maybe the routine could be termed as repetitive but setting routine is good. Like after the demonstration on magic mat, Kell would know that it is time to pick up the apron, wear it and begin her DIY session. After submitting the project work, she knows that she has to go and wash her hands and when she is back in the classroom, she will take out the apron and put it back to the box. Or, after zoo phonics is being recitated, she knows that she has to collect the card from the teacher and go to the back of the classroom to match the letter on her to the letter on the wall.

Cel and Dal (if you happen to read this post when I am zzz-ing)
1. I try to arrange trial with Sunflower Kids on this Wednesday. Cel, take full day okay? Your day is power packed with activities. We try to reach there by 8.30am hor. Let me know if your friend is coming.
2. We will leave Sunflower at about 10.30am. Then go to Cheri Hearts at Layang Layang. Then to Caterpillar Cove at Ngee Ann Poly.
3. Go lunch at Disney restaurant after that. Need me to cook porridge for JZ and Chel?

Eh, I went there with 33KG, back with 63kg!!! I underestimated the Kumon books and socks, hah! BTW I repacked ur bags cos I didn't wanna carry too many pieces of luggage... lucky u never put in personal s-x toys or what, haha. Exceeded wt but waived cos HB gold flyer or something... now in lounge waiting for flight and ahgirl is thrilled cos there's cookies! She woke up and exclaimed, "This I cannot finish!". LOL!

morning mummies, so many trials... sorry i will not be able to join, J's schedule is packed Mon - Sun....
CNY, will be out of town, sorry cannot attend the yummy steamboat at the palace. i do hope to visit the palace one day.
mspiggy - can take school bus... Wes might enjoy the ride... ke ke... or settle for somewhere near home?
