last yr, i got Mandy a cotton material Qi Pao style in chinatown. ( the buiding w the hawker centre below) tis yr, goin back to that shop again to see if they are sellin any of that material. will let u noe if i find such.

+ She starts tearing books again! Didn't do it for quite a while then started again.....Any idea how to guide them? I had been raising my voice when I got really frustrated but it is not working and I don't like it...

Talk and explain to her and she will listens. Maybe G felt that the adults are reacting to her and she found their reactions funny and that’s why she kept on pinching? And instead of scolding her, why not come up with an action or gesture that would means that you are angry? Like folding your hands and stare at her? Whenever I do that, it means that I am angry and Kell would look at me and stop whatever she is doing.
 
By the way, how many June bbs are potty trained liao? Since two months ago, kell will come running to me and tell me she has pooed. But recent weeks, she will tell me that she is pooing before the poo came out … is that a sign of potty readiness? And she will also tell me ‘wet wet’ whenever her diaper is wet…
 
Paula, not yet for Zach. Just manage to stop his pacifier and going to give him a break. Plan to start potty train after CNY.

looking at Kell reaction , maybe you can start the training...she is always very fast...

My friend from Cambridge has reverted. They dun sell boxed sets at the moment but she is helping me to clear rights from their publisher in the States. I have told her to release the individual title price list for me first. Will email to you when it is in.
 
paula, think Kell is ready for potty - maybe as a start, you can intro the potty to her and ask her to sit on it?

i am so happy today... Jake went up the school bus and waved bye bye to me. i drove to school and saw him alighted the bus, and was such a good boy. waited patiently at the waiting area for Ms Lim to pick him up. after that, i left. tomorrow, i will not do spot checks on him, as i know he will be ok at school. no more school blues for mummy!

… and yea, Kell is really cheeky! She has the audacity to call my name these days. She will rant ‘jia jia’ non stop and then will burst out chuckling when I look at her. And I have been telling her ‘you can only call out my name during emergency! In the meanwhile, call me mama!’
 
Paula, Kell's really a sweet pie....
During New year day, he was angry and TTT by throwing his pacifier on the floor and from tat day he never get it back again haha... In the nite I told him that I hv throw his pacifier away liao and no more extra one at home, he do ask fo a few time but I insist not to give then he start crying for a while till he tired and go to sleep. Second nite is the same and surpisingly he is ok after the 2nd nite and no more asking now...
Must prepared to suffer a few nites...my sister always said pacifier is no good for their milk teeth growing so no choice must get rid of it...

Yea, extremely cheeky! It is so difficult to snap a shot of her smiling at the camera cos whenever she sees me with my camera, she will stop smiling and laughing. That pic is really a gem manz!

How was Cel’s gug class yesterday? Kell attended the bilingual tots class. She enjoyed the English section but she completely switched off when the Chinese section starts! She is the youngest in the class somemore; most of the tots are 2 years and above. I am wondering if they have tots classes with more children aged closer to Kell’s age instead…
 
paula, actually, being the youngest in class has its merits. jake is the youngest in class at LW, and also the youngest at JG playclub (along with chloe and brayden). he loves to observe older kids, and mimic their behaviour....

at LW, being the youngest, he gets special and extra attention and care... ke ke...

There carried quite a few imprints … at times, you can get DK books at a really good price. Most of the titles are not available in the local bookstores as I was told that the big boss of that bookstore would attend an international bookfair and buy back these books from overseas publishers in countries like Europe and the States who are not represented in this part of the world…

Yea, quite true. At the beginning, I was quite worried and had a word with her GUG teacher. She assured me that Kell is doing well as she would follow whatever the class is doing despite the 6 months age gap or so and she don’t seem out of place. Hubby said to continue monitoring her for a few more classes before deciding how…

By the way, which school is Jake in?

Joy, my colleague's boy likes to beat people and her PD taught her to beat her boy back so that he knows that its painful when he beat people. This is the 'yi ya huan ya' method, maybe you can try.

Paula, I also think that Kelly is ready to be potty trained as she is aware when she poos and pees.

Cutiezayn, congrats on weaning off the pacifier.

Toto, Jake is such a good boy. You must be really proud of him.

K is very notti - when i ask her if she has pooed, (and she has - cuz of the smell!) she will say no, and run away !!! guess i have to wait a while longer to potty train my K !!

K is so cute … Kell knows that she has to lie down and be cleaned when she told me that she has poo-ed. These days, she will get ready the wipes for me when I am cleaning her up. Give me piece by piece somemore. At times, she will run and get her own diaper and pass to me. Haha…

that's good! they were having fun with ants yesterday! Scary manz, the Chinese teacher open the lid of the plastic box to show the tots how ants look like and the English teacher was so worried that the ants will crawled out of the box!
