I think it's S$499 for non member. maybe can call and check.
My sis who delivered in mt A said that they gave a pack of newborn disposable diapers and the bath tub, think the brand is pampers. a bag of stuff with magazines, some samples of breast pads, johnson and johnson small bottles of different lotion, shampoo, body wash blah blah blah. for rooster babies, the babies get a rooster gold coin because the first rooster baby in singapore was delivered at mt A. Mine will be a rooster gal coz not over the lunar new year yet.

i just check Star cruises website, was thinking of taking short cruise with hubby b4 bb comes, they restrict any pregnant women who is more than 24 weeks form going on board... I'll be 24 weeks coming Oct... so sad, cannot go on cruise liao
Think I am on eating binge also, so terribly hungry today, had fishball noodles and orange for breakfast, 11am hungry again! Had big plate of rice for lunch, still cannot fill the pit in my tummy, just finished a big fried banana ball... aiyoh, the feeling is terrible, like all the food eaten is totally gone, tummy still can make grumbling noises!

sleepingdeer, my appetite increase lately too.. had bee hoon and fish cake for breakfast, yong tau foo noodles + soya bean drink for lunch and bought peanut cake and green apple for tea break

I got most of my stuff except for the diapers, bathing stuff for babies, breasts pads and all the lotion.
Planning to use Avent bottles becos NUH gave a complimentary (125ml) one for the antenatal class. Someone gave me the Avent sterliser & breast pump. So looks like I will be buying the Avent bottles and the bathing stuff cos they look so nice in the brochures

i also dunno which brand to buy... but i think i b getting the kodomo cos i read in another thread that it smells very good..haha... pigeon shld b ok also i think... thinking of washing the bedding set first and sun them when i can. if not as i wait, think will not b as agile..not to mention the backaches lor..

i also dunno which one is better but now for my own i use liquid. but seems like kodomo quite ex. even the refill not very cheap.

normal price is 15.40 and the cheapest i saw before is at those chinese medicinal hall at 14.
most pple will separate the clothes to wash. think separate for a while cos baby doesn't really go out and when we go out, we pick up germs from outside...
a lot of times is trial and error. even if u buy the good ones for baby, they may not like it also. and must see whether they will have any reactions to the things that we buy. my fren told me her fren's son allergic to aloe vera so those diapers with aloe vera to soothe cannot be used on her son.

Just wanna update on my gynae visit last night.
BB has grown to 693g (was 370g a month ago) and I have only put on 1kg since 1 month ago. Total weight gain since conception was about 6kg (now 24+ weeks). The best thing was, my gynae is trying out his new 4D scan machine and took take a 4D scan picture of my BB! But my boy shy lah, one hand was touching his forehead and his other arm was covering most of his face. So disappointed about not seeing my BB's face. In the end, took a picture of his hand covering his face. Very clear view of the fingers though, Thought his hands looked quite big.
Wah, you all very informed about baby products leh. I'm still very blur and haven't bought anything yet. But Sysa's list is quite helpful. I'll print it out and carry it in my bag whenever I go shopping.

heard that NB can use up to 10 - 12 diapers a day, so have to stock up. As for mat, my cousin gave me one from her son who never used it, it's those mats filled with water? about 0.5cm thick i think. I saw some at OG orchard, dunno whether those are the ones you looking for?

yep, apparantly we shoudl separate our clothes from bb's clothes, coz bb's skin is very sensitive in the first year, so prone to rashes if their clothing is washed with normal detergent.

I find that the type of washing machine and detergent makes lots of difference regarding softness of clothes. My top load washing machine back at my parent's house is fine, all the clothes always come out soft, no need softener. But my home, using front load machine, wah, the clothes like cardboard, come out can scratch skin one. Hee hee, my hb didn't believe, so I did a experiment, i had 2 sets of the same towels, one left at my parents' home, the other bought back to my home, you can actually feel the difference after a few washes

You mean washing detergent for adults is it? My mum uses Fab, my MIL uses Persal low subs for home, coz the washer can only use limited brands of washing powder.

Pet Pet is the cheapest brand of diapers - according to my frenz. i guess any diapers shd be fine as long as our bb doesn't get any allergic reaction n stuff. So also quite tough to say now...must wait till we try on our babies to know! i hv a fren whose bb can only wear Pampers brand of diapaers...any other brand will give him rashes.

I bought a thin waterproof mat (pigeon) during the Isetan baby fair. So i think u should be able to get it elsewhere but i think it'll be more ex. I bought it at abt $16++. There's other cheaper brands but i like this design better. If u can afford, u can see the Pyo Pyo one. Looks great, but super ex.
