Err... where exactly is Waterplace huh?? How to get there?? Btw the last time we limit to 20 families is because we scared overcrowd the pool isit?? But since we'll be taking turns to swim for only less than half hour each, plus some not swimming n some may pull out last min, would it be ok to include EVERYONE including those in the waiting list?? Would the function room be big enough??

I so envious of u guys.. i used to run 5km daily or go to gym work out type b4 i met my hb, but my hb is super couch potato.. move an inch will sweat... miss running too, now with bb, seems so hard to tear myself away from her after work to run. Some more now BF so really need good sports bra or breasts hurt leh..

Maybe when u guys start, must motivate me hor...

talking about sports bra. must really get a good one. was running with my nursing bra last sat and super uncomfortable. the plastic latch can't hold on to the momentum and kept slipping. have to keep adjusting, so ugly. slip my mind to wear a sports bra. but if I don't wear nursing bra, very difficult to feed baby in the car. such a dilemma.

Mel has been seeing YY Yip since she was born (doc suspected she breathe in meconium at birth and stayed in ICU for 2 days and Dr Yip was the doc incharge of the ICU unit @ Gleneagles). I would say he's a very dedicated doc and is very good with premature bbs and emergency case. But I agree with you, he is very brief when you see him at his clinic, even if you try to ask him more qn, you can sense that he's rushing you off. I guess is partly becos SBCC's policy of packing the appointments back to back. Have to wait at least an hour each time I go (& on a weekday morning!!!). My colleague used to go to William Yip, he's even worst...once she tried to pacify her crying baby in his room after the jab and he sort of like telling her she can do it outside his room!!!

We decided to switch to Dr Elizabeth Khor given that we don't really need Dr Yip's "specialisation" now but more a PD that can help us as first time parents (with our somewhat silly qns at time....haha). My first visit has been pleasant. The moment she knew Mel was admitted to ICU @ birth, she immediately got her nurse to retrive Mel's medical record from Gleneagles (she's affiliated to Gleneagles and her clinic is at paragon). Our original intention was to go for jab but end up she is more concern with Mel's growth..cos as mentioned Mel didn't put on any weight for the last 5 weeks altho she's still within the 50-75 percentile (her height and head circumference is within the 75-90 percentile). She advised us not to bring Mel for swimming until she's 2 cos of her history of breathing meconium at birth...so swimming gathering is out

Dr Khor sees patient strictly by appointment only (unless is urgent case), so the plus point is don't have to wait. We got to see her within 5 min upon arrival. On the flip side, she's more ex than Dr Yip. But I don't mind paying slightly more for more personalised service.

Just to warn you, not too sure if it's a good idea to leave Sarah with the hotel baby-sitter service. A few years back, this Aussie couple left their 3 year old toddler girl with the hotel baby-sitter service to go diving and the poor girl was violated by the hotel staff (can't rem if she contracted VD or Aids) and mind you this is a 5-star hotel. I'm the very protective sort, dun feel safe leaving bb with strangers. Moreover Sarah may start to develop stranger anxiety

Is ok to bring bb with you to Bali. I find ppl there are nice and friendly. Just that I (unlike the angmos) don't feel safe leaving bb/kids with hotel baby sitting service. Not only in Bali but anywhere cos u never know when will such things happen and they are so young to fend for themselves.

haha i think we should start a running club to keep fit and motivate each other!!

I used to be a gym bunny, the type that can go on threadmill for 1 hour sort... now... i think i will just faint looking at the threadmill... so terrible right? Somemore.. i stupidly promised my hb that after marriage i will maintain my figure for 3 years... haha.. then after 1 year kena pregnant.. so now he's wondering what happened

so got to work hard again or get pregnant again so got excuse to get fat kekeke..
