Hahaha ... how did you guess what's why I did? I kept asking him to join me for supper so he is also putting on weight but he said he can grow fat but I can't leh. And now I am breastfeeding so I don't wanna take slimming pills ... My boss every day sees me tells me I am never gonna lose the weight if I dun do something abt it now. *sigh*

alamak.. i am same boat as u! I also used to be 46kg... now am 55kg. Also thot bf will lose weight but seems like not true leh..... and quite a no. of pple told me that if i dun start losing weight now, if after 6 mths, very difficult to lose weight liao... i dunno how true but i am definitely going to start exercising this yr!! I already plan to take part in JP morgan run in April and Std Chartered 10KM run in Dec......

cookies, i'm using avent milk bags. u asking abt alternative to the clips? i use clothes pegs.. keke.. i use them for everything, fr clothes to milk bags, to unfinished potato chips, to even my dog food bag.. but of course either colour code or wash after use..

btw, i find that my milk supply dipped a fair bit when i cut back on my water consumption.. past few days didn't drink much and somemore drank coke n stuff, so poor baby got to drink fr both sides instead of 1, and i couldn't express much too... now it's slightly better... scary man..

i sort of gather n fold the top of the milk bag into half and hold together with the peg. Then i place the bag into a plastic cup n place the whole thing into the freezer. when the milk is frozen then take the milk bag out of the cup, cos after it's frozen the milk bag can stand on its own liao. impt thing is to prevent milk fr spilling out. when defrosting similarly place it in a cup to hold it.
hmm, a bit difficult to sell the bottle at $1-2 leh.. cos me thinking of upgrading to 260ml bottles also.. y not get the glass bottles? think it's only about $1 with lids.. saw it selling at Yahoo Auctions recently.

Btw, yesterday night my boss just announced that this year bonus is from 1 mth to 1.7 mth. Those getting a pay increment or promotion will receive a letter on Mon. He wants to move me out of Suntec ... to be stationed @Bugis instead cos our hot air balloon is flying and he wants me to oversee that. *sigh* No more lunch kaki liao ...

i latch my boy as usual,then pump n hour after that. or i tandam pump, feed 1 side n pump 1 side. actually i find that even rite after pump, i latch him on,there's still milk leh. btw, those few days, my pump session is like 30-60ml. but now its back to my usual avg of 120ml. my left breast is very slack, always cannot produce much, so depends on e right.

Hi mummies,
really dun like night feed. My mum insisted that I need to feed my baby 4 hourly at night (i "officially " take care of my gal from 10pm-8am)
But I read books say if your baby did not wake up at night , no need to feed her..I wake my baby up for milk every 4 hour (she drink while sleeping)..
Is it ok if she drink at 10pm, then the next feed at 7am ? she drink only 4.5 ox (130ml) .. that's her.. she just a small milk drinker..
Due to her small consumption of milk, I also worried that she hungry at night.
she will wake up at night ,but when I put in her pacifier she is ok, .. therefore is it she is hungry.. want to suck suck...?
hope to stop this night feed soon...
25 Jan gathering .. Wed... no working ? or all on leave beside SAHM..
Wish to join, but scare to be alone with my baby.. afraid I can't handle her (lousy mummy)..
Since her birth.. never been alone wih her before, either my mum, or hubby, or mother-in-law with me..
My baby will look for my mum when she want to sleep.. she only want to sleep in my mum's arm..
the 8.30pm sleep she always fuss when I put her to sleep , then my mum come and "scold her" , she will keep quiet and slowly fall alseep.

so dare not go out with her only.. must have my mum.. even my hubby also cannot handle her.

I fold the top a few times & use labelling sticker or masking tape to paste down (also write date on it). then i recently learnt that i can leave it lying down to freeze - doesn't leak. So when it's frozen it's nice & flat... can stack even =)
But nowadays i use VIA Cups.. easier - no danger of spillage. Furthermore my dept bar-fridge is so cramped & not cold enuf to freeze milk bag.
Gathering was mighty fun.. so many babies! What abt nxt time on Public Holiday so that my hubby can come too.. coz he works on weekends.

As long as he is gaining weight appropriately, he is eating enough. At 4 months, Annette was taking 6oz EBM from the bottle. It could last her 4 hours.
I have problems with supply after going back to work too. Try taking Fenugreek, drink more fluids and pump in tandem when you are latching direct. Also, I yield more after switching from electric to hand pump. Using Kaneson pump now. Cheap ($32), convenient, handy and best of all, it works for me.
Do pop by this thread more frequently. I made several friends and learnt a lot from the other mommies.

The news came to me as a shock though. The condition is not serious, but they had wanted to let him remain in hospital for a few more days for the photolight treatment. And i knew abt it only on the day of discharge.. as a 1st time mother, every small thing is magnified..
