but if u do require better chemical for rebonding, i think Shishedo for rebonding not bad!
i did my 1st time with a salon, 6mths later, my haor ends came out with a 90 degree angle!!! horrible manz... i went to Gary, he did for me the rebonding, last me a yr.. before i head back, and the hair ends, the new grown out ones slightly rough, but overall still last one yr.. and i went back again to do again last Oct after my wedding.

Adel: u say 200 pricey, u know a salon at Raffles plc Arcade charging almost 300 for a rebonding?!?!?! i was like.. har???? still got such market price.. almost fainted.

I am surprised to hear that you can still opt date for c-section when your gynae has already broke your water bag. I thought once water bag is broken, you have to go into labour??

I paid $500 for rebonding. Can't remember name of salon but it's along Orchard Rd. Can't say it's gd. In HK the price for rebonding is abt the same but I find quality better.

It's not cheap to get a infant care centre. My 2 cents worth of suggestion is to get a babysitter first. Can have more personal care & less chances of exposure to disease. U know when small infant falls sicks, it's very headache one. Maybe when yor bb grows older than get a childcare centre?

My hands oso very tired after carrying her, so I make sure got lots of cushion to support my elbow. Remember to switch your hands regularly & carry her more often so she will get use to it.

U sounds so refresh & energetic! Wow!! Got any secret tip? I am celebrating my gal's full month together with the month cake festival..heehee..Initially got a bit of crazy idea like put lanterns, give mooncakes to guests instead of normal cakes.. then hubby say I siao. :p

spend 500 bucks.. even if quality like silk.. i would have to think twice.. i think if u include everything.. 200 is my max each time i spend in a salon.. every half a year. diff kind of spending habbits.

clarissemummy: ur client's hubby rich lah. she's telling u that her hubby dotes on her a lot( which is good) well.. its always easier to digest good things than bad. imagine her telling u that her hb wouldn't even give her 50 bucks to do her hair? how would u react? more difficult right? hehe.. jus quoting an example.

me pretty tired, but my mil comes by to help at times..tho sometimes the way she handles bb gets on my nerves..sigh, mil blues..i guess most of us will have them, just hv to tahan lor..she's gettin quite possessive over my boy & wants to do things her way, sometimes so pissed off dat i show my black face..feel so bad cos she has good intentions & i feel like so ungrateful lidat..sigh..so sometimes taking care of bb alone may be a good thing.

I now finally got some time to share wats going on wif my PIL:
1) FIL insist tht my girl should shave off her hair after full month, but i told him very firmly tht i WON't WANT to shave off and my decision is final.

2) As for my MIL, she always want to carry my girl *understandable as she is the 1st grandchild. maybe i describe 1 scenerio. once i was bathing my girl, and she came. she waited by my side and see me finish dressing her up. then immediately she says she want to carry.

Last sun, i was very angry wif my MIL. took my girl to her place, and she was very tired. I coax her to bed, then left her on the bed. my mil sat beside her, then i heard my girl cry, went in to the room.. saw my MIL carry her.. then i told her she is very tired liao.. guess wat MIL said: she can dun sleep now, sleep later after i go to work ** Biang: can imagine who is the caretaker and who going to suffer if bb is lack of sleep!

Tinting: u noe wat during my confinment, my MIL came 2x to cook dinner and both i rejected her food. She tot tt her son is being ill-treated and tinking of cooking good food for him but neglect me.. straightaway i told my hb and my hb told her off.. haha.. abd then i did not finish my food either.

mummytobe: did yr baby cry when u carry her? if no then nothing is wrong on yr position, and bb is comfortable.

Reenie: maybe u wan to try using a rocker? i bought an infant carrier cum rocker this is really good.. i rock her to sleep during the daytime and amazingly she can sleep thruout.. but sometimes she will try to make things difficult esp when i come online.. haha.

Wendyg: i quite like petpet, currently have oredi used up 4packs, and it oni cost S$8.20 for S46pcs.

Cat_tail: no choice leh, still got to try to cook if not how.. everytime eat outside food i oso sian..

aiyo we kena leaking shit whether from Fitti or Drypers. Pampers Comfort also leaked, but maybe coz their "S" size is smaller than Fitti/ Drypers. Dun really like Fitti Basic coz the covering is plastic! Haven't tried Pampers Premium... sounds expensive! Hubby bought Drypers 2 for $23+ from NTUC. HUggies also expensive right? Heh, u can see i'm on a budget here...

Once waterbag broken, hv to deliver within 24hr. For me, waterbag was burst on 22/7 11am. ie my baby has to be out by 23/7 11am latest. So i still could choose whether i wanted him out on 22/7 11pm or 23/7 midnight. I chose 23/7 lor.. difference of only 1 hr mah.

aiyo tell your hubby to go stuff it lah. 10 months being pregnant, eating thru morning sickness to nourish baby, enduring aches & pains, sleepness nights, carrying a mobile heater etc.. not to mention the childbirth process.. at the end of it he doesn't hv a kind comment about your figure?! Anyone would get depressed having this kind of husband!!!
Hey, weight that took nearly 1 year to add on won't go away in merely a few weeks. My suggestion is to buy yourself a nice dress & be confident about who you are. People who know u just gave birth won't harp on your figure lah. As for people who dunno u just gave birth - who cares about them.
 
kathy: dun be dishearten with what u hubby says.... tell him lor.. without putting on weight, how to have such a healthy bb? Cant be u now on the plump side expect u to cut down weight n flabs immediately.... if he is so concern, as him pay for the slimming bills then.

u just given birth... it takes abt 3-6 mths to get back to the normal figure... dun worry, i bet u can get into some nice dresses for such formal evenings.

i heard some friends telling their hubby, if their hubby ever want them to get preggie, make sure their hubby give them 10k for slimming after birth.

wendy, pampers premium is being used by hospitals.. ur boy shld have used it already... so far pampers premium (abt $0.50 per piece) n nepia ($0.30 per piece) dun have shit leaking problem... but then maybe bcos i usually let him sleep face down.. haha.. but seriously their fit is better lor... prime selling pet pet for $13 (70 pieces).. design is like drypers, but the front part not as bulky... but pampers premium n mamy poko are thinner, so bb dun feel so warm lor...
 
I also find pampers premium not so good. My boi poo can leak out. So far tried sealer and petpet - both not bad and quite economical. Only thing is quite difficult to find the S size, manage to get it in Carrefour.

I've used mamy poko these 2 days and find that although it's soft, it can't hold much and hence will leak. Found it leaking at the side 2 times. So far I've tried pampers, mamypoko, nepia, sealer and mamy poko. pampers is the best. nepia and sealer are not bad. Sealer is the cheapest at 25c. Will try PetPet after finishing the current pieces.

So you using Nur too! Her massage is 2hr for $45 so find it quite worth lor. But she doesn't massage the breast (I also din request lar). And for c-sect, she will skippy the lower tummy. Quite comfortable being massage

But can't see the effect yet as only 2 times (me doing alternate day). The binding is bearable just abit inconvenient when bf. The tummy does look much slimmer when the binding just been removed, but after a while it'll return to current shape. Esp. after breakfast

And after the massage need to mop the floor cos will be oily (lucky my CL mop for me...).

Thanks...Aiya, my hubby always think its so easy to shed the flabs. Think he influenced by the recent reports abt the tcs stars losing the weight after birth within dunno how many mths. Maybe I shd try your method. Tell him to give me 10 grand to go slimming centres if he want me to lose weight real fast. That shd shut him up : )

Thanks! i think u are talking about the hand carry type, can convert to baby chair too. But my girl will slide down when i place her in cos' the carrier abit curving,her backbone not yet develop and soft, so decided not to place her in for long, except i bring it along when i go hospital visits to let her sleep in it.

When I do rebonding in HK, it lasts for abt 6 mth to 8 mth.

wendy, that was pampers premium (cottoncare) newborn size. Basically 2 types i think, the premium range n dry range. Always go for the premium one over dry range, ditto for Huggies.


i've got some drypers samples... by the time i used the S size, it's too tight for my boy... he got fat thighs...hehe.... waiting to try the M size samples... I tried Huggies dry comfort.. small cutting, M size like Pampers S size... actually sometimes how we position the diapers affect the leaking problem...

re: sleeping
usually he'll sleep after feeding, but nowadays getting more alert. i put him in the bouncer chair for him to look around.. sometimes he falls asleep there.. or place him in the sarong n rock him to sleep... sometimes he wants to be carried n rocked to sleep, and cannot put him down to cot, else he'll wake up n got to start all over again... singing not so effective for him...

for my boy, if he doesnt want to sleep nothing can make him sleep, n if he's sleeping nothing can wake him up... stubbon fella... :p

mine too. nowadays getting more alert, so at least twice a day will have difficulty coaxing him to sleep. must nurse/pat/rock him....have not given him sarong yet. Is it effective?
 
Does gary from cineleisure work on tuesday or wed? thinking of going down.. $168 is v cheap for rebonding. my fren is saying now it is fashionable to have soft perm than rebonding.. not sure

for diapers, bb is using cloth nappies in the morning.. (my maid wash until xiao cos he can pee every 1 hour).. at night i let him use pampers premium, later i will switch him to drypers cos more economical. previously my dd also used pampers premium but unfortunately and suprisingly it leaked.. so i have never used it. i buy mega pack drypers at $19.50 for M84, L72 and XL70.. now dd using XL.

Initially only when demand milk then will refuse to sleep.. now even just have milk or follow by after a short nap will wake up and refuse to sleep. Besides nursing,pating, i also use pacifier to let her sleep. But have to hold the it for her.. so put her on my bed and sleep togather and hold it for her till she sleep.

I have to question for you all. Do you experience sharp pain our lower genital? I have this sharp pain quite often. Like twice a day. Is this contraction or Braxton Hick? I'm not really sure. Or is it something that should not be happening at all.
It is like a sharp pain, then it disappears.

I let my bb sleep in the sarong after he is 1 month old. So far no problem with it. We try to let him sleep at sarong at day time and sleep on the bed at night. At day time he also sleep for a while than wake up. This happen since he is on 3 weeks old. He can sleeps well at night except when he wants to drink milk. So far he seldoms cranky at night time. *touch wood

My MIL let my bb used cloth diapers at day time, We bought about 40 pcs of cloth diapers and he can used up 20 pcs at day time. (I call him pee king ..haha) Night time I used Pampers Premium and Xu Xu Le (both S size). Found out that both quite good for him. No leaking problem at the moment.

he looks cute and smart hoh.... ya...too smart to bully us liao.

My boy recently try to suck his fingers, anyone face this problem? We let him try to used pacifier since he's 1 week old. Till now he still reject the pacifier whenever we puts in his mouth.
