I oso simply bo chap this time.... hospital bag not pack, clothes, mattress cover n curtain not wash, confinement food-make red dates water n tonics oso havent buy..... I planned to settle it by this wkend but i doubt i can do it as hb going outstation this sun for a wk....

Hey all
today went kkh for check up. My PD saw my belly when doing the heartbeat scan, he blur!! He say " this one very big ar, ur 1st gal so light but this so big!!" He even drop the scanning tools!!
Hahaha so funny.
The PD say I have to visit him every week liao. If I dun wan to induce and wait till last mins den deliver there might be some risk. Coz if too big, cannot Normal delivery, need to do opt!! Sound so scarely... THe best is to induce it before is getting too big.
Just only abt 2 and 1/2 week, I gain 3.2kg, now 64.2kg!!
Really dunno wat should I do lei, why this round bb so big yet I still having ms!!

anyone employed confinement lady b4? do i need to give ang pao to the CL? if yes, give b4 her service or after? how much huh?
the CL charge me $1800, but nvr mention abt ang pao, then just now my friend say may need to give wor. And when i ask CL when to give her the $1800 she says anything, can give on the 1st day or last day. so, shall i give her the full amt on her 1st day? thks!!!

we hardly sleep in aircon room. if we do, will put on short sleeve shirt and pants for her and try to cover blanket but she'll protest.

i think we give angpao on her first day and last day. can't rem how much but small amount around $20. as for the full amount, we only pay on the last day.

I did give ang pao to my CL b4-as heng heng becos she nd to do the dirty job like throwing away the sanitary pad for us n aft-as a token of appreciation. As for money, u can pay her partially, maybe $800 1st then $1000 on her last day. Even u pay her on the last day is ok as i think she wun be using the money. I pay my CL on the last day.

JWT at Eastgate Building is bigger than My Gym. In terms of equipment, they are quite comparable too. They have flying fox, swings, slide, mini rock wall, ladders, 2 or 3 push riders, etc... their trampoline is built on a structural support and protected by netting at the sides - pretty impressive but more for the older kids.
There's also a smaller room for younger kids with a small ball pool, slide/swing and some musical toys...
Can't comment on the teachers though as it was a open house and they basically let us have free play.
I didn't check out the fees but I know it's not cheap. Enquired before on their trial fees and it's almost $40!

IMHO,
most of these enrichment centres conduct actvities which parents/caregivers are capable of doing at home.
whichever prog the child is going thru, we have to reinforce at home for more 'effective' results.

BJG is quite different from GUG/JG.
Hb prefers GUG as he can see immediate results from potato. (with regard to phonics only)
I like BJG cos its right brain based, i can reinforce certain things at home.
(but we dun see immediate results from her. )
it also gives me ideas on wat to look out for when buying toys n also how to improvish n modify certain educational toys for her.
it gives me ideas on focussed activities to persist with n its 'benefits'.
unlike gug, whereby they are doing activities which i am already quite familar with or already doing with rae. but i get good ideas from them too n rae simply adores the zoophonics.

tat said, dun expect bjg to be rah rah like gug/jg. (its actually boring for many)
go for the trial n see lor.

Would rather NOT have a chance, cos if i do means dean is having a fever!
