MIA for quite some time already, hope you all still rem me.
Congrats to all mummies preg with #2. Hope to join you all in another 4mths time
Some update abt Andric, he is still crawling... walk 1-2 steps he will sit down to crawl...a very timid boy...As for speech, he can say mama (grandma), daddy or dare dare, mummy or mimi, Yeeee (Ah yee), gong (Ah gong), work, key, ball, book, three, eight, pah pah (scared), wor wor (dog), pple (apple), mum mum (food), Nite nite, Nen Nen (milk), Cheese and his fav is Tiam Ah (shut up in hokkien) but he will said this suddenly while we are toking to him or other ppl... hehe his ah yee said he is an ah beng baby.
Brought him to Korea last yr Dec (Temp around -15 to 6 deg), he slept most of the time duirng the trip...think its due to the nice weather. He was being wrapped up in so many layers of clothes until like a roll of cloth. Some photos to share.

Warmest welcomt to the new mummies first.
My gal is now in her 15th month, going for the MMR jab this Sat. Anyone can advise what will happen after the jab huh? Chances of fever big is it?

-- She sings along very well suddenly. She can sing along with twinkle twinkle, note to note. Recently also sing along to the pop chinese songs like "Pan duo la" ... it's really funny
-- She started to notice the words and numbers around her. And try to pronouce it whenever we said something. Like she would look at our floor number one day, and she'll point and follow us in saying "Twee" ... it's third floor
I'm starting to think that Shichida actually helps her in noticing these words and numbers around her..... I'll update more soon.

We tried a few times, he still refused...will try to go to the beach more often, maybe he will overcome it.

I got him to "walk" using a ride-on. he can actually walk holding our hands (me and hubby on each side) or holding one hand (me holding his left or right hand. just that he needs to walk indeoendently before he can go playschool which is 2-3hrs per session. he is very wary of people and dont play with other children of his age at the park so we want him to have some exposure to "school" before he attends school in september next year. its as stressful in the states as in singapore

Give ur boy time, he needs our encourage so that he is brave enough to walk by himself. Praise him more when walking. Buy those shoe that got sound and chose by himself. Try to go playground with lots of children walking and runing abt, sometime, he might want to copy them and walk himself. Once he can walk few step, very soon he can RUN!!!

the playgroups are mixed with asians , hispanics and angmohs. still got a few months to wait. its just that here the chinese and indian babies, both boys and girls, walk by their 12mth so we dont know if its becos our boy is lazy or scared.
also he could be tired, walk from room to hall holding our hand then he will sit down and rest. my MIL say its becos he does not eat enough salt

we managed to get my boy to hold his own bottle only last week. when he wake up, my hubby makes him lie down on a pillow on the floor and hold his own bottle. he will finish all his milk becos he is hungry. the trick for us is to put the bottle in his hands and then act busy so he wont pass us the bottle to hold for him.
