Hi gan1972, yes I think it's advisable to go get a jab if possible to have someone accompany you. Not sure if 10mg Duphaston is enough. I was given 100mg Utrogestan and Progynova, which proves to be a successful combination for me. Better if you can do a HCG blood test.

Are you on crinone etc also?
They should be giving you maximum support and treat you as pregnant until proven otherwise.
Please have complete bed rest. Tomorrow is the BT right so hang in there. But if you are worried, like the others suggest, do go see a private gynae.

A miracle can happen anytime anywhere.. don take chances.. go n see a private n take some extra suport..

Hi all, i called KKIVF again today and they finally brought me in for my BT! My gynae confirmed that my hcg levels are high enough and its a positive pregnancy.

So since they are finally on the same page as me that im pregnant, the gynae ordered a progesterone shot and more duphaston 3 times a day. Im not on any other meds.

I have an appointment with my gynae for a scan in 3 weeks time so hopefully things get better within the next few days and the bleeding slows down/stops in the next few days.

I guess if i keep bleeding after this afternoon's shot, its time to go private gynae for a 2nd opinion.

Thank you so much ladies for the support & advise so far....i wouldn't have had the courage to keep bugging the nurses if I didnt read about your respective advices.

Congrats dear. I went thru 11 days of fresh bleeding from my 1st fresh, starting from 7dp2dt. It was awful and very stressful so I really feel you.
I'm glad you got positive news. Was told by nurse to rest feet up in bed. Hope this helps.

Omg! It's so good to hear from someone who went through it too!

Im now at 14dpt2dp and 6 days into bleeding. Am still bleeding today but at least its slightly lesser now...am hoping it stops by tomorrow or friday. Noticed that i tend to bleed more when i leave the house to run errands or buy food. So will try to bed rest tomorrow and see if it gets better.

perhaps you may consider semi-bed-rest since moving around gives you more bleeding...IVF pregnancies are more unstable and though spotting / light bleeding is common, it's always best to take extra pre-caution. I had light bleeding / spotting throughout 12 weeks in my earlier pregnancy.

Im supposed to go back to work tomorrow. Do you think if I head back to work but remain seated as much as possible, its ok?

Technically, apart from going to the toilet & canteen at work, i dont have to move around alot.

You can try, but again, if it starts to bleed alot again, then maybe you should not go to work.
