1st appointment

Hi!

Im scheduled to have my first gynae appt with NUH on 29 Jul 21. I would be 13 weeks preggy then. Would like to check if anyone had their first gynae visit so late? Also wondering on the harmony test which is usually conducted prior or at 12 week.

I have the same problem with my appointment at Nuh. I am almost 5 weeks pregnant but the appointment is on my 11 week which is 28 Sep 2021. Is that too late?
Any advice? Thanks !

11 and 13weeks seems abit late imo. the first dating scan should be around 7–8w, so that we know for sure there is fetal heartbeat and that the embryo is deposit in the right place.. Also for first pregnancy, u will have to take antenatal blood test for thalassemia, blood count, platelets etc to scan at first appt..but i heard if you chose for a popular gynae, it will be difficult to get a earlier appt.. even the Fetal scan centre is fully booked that my FT scan will be done by the gynae instead…

Do write in to NUH to explain to them and request for an earlier appt. In the end managed to get an appointment at week 9/10 instead.
