I'm going into my 14th week soon. Is it normal to have cramps at this stage of pregnancy? Especially everytime I sit. And my back hurts after standing in the same position for awhile.

Are all these normal?

Hi, I will be in my wk 14 tml & I am getting occasional cramps too, especially in my lower abdomen n I think it's normal becoz of stretching ligaments n muscles ard our expanding uterus, especially this is my 1st pregnancy. Since there's no bleeding, I m not too worried. But if u are then perhaps call ur gynae to ask?

Attached a screenshot of what I read from pregnancy guide book.

Thanks ladies. I think I should be fine. Next doctor's appointment is only on 30september, at least 1 month from now. I feel better now knowing I'm not alone in this

Hi Talbjas,

Any chance that the pregnancy guidebook that you are referring to is "What to expect when you are expecting"?

Hi,

The title is "guide to a healthy pregnancy" by Mayo clinic. It's very useful & comprehensive, there's 1 chapter full of symptoms guide and I managed to ride thru my 1st tri referring to it. See pics attached.

Yes I think I should. All I have doing is just googling a lot. No particular books yet.

Hi illya16,

Another good book that you should get is <What to Expect when you are expecting>.

Also, try to sleep early now that you are pregnant, which is important for both yourself and the baby.
