we've been away on and off for the last 4 years. singapore is so different now and things are so expensive! that's one of the reasons why can't have more kids, coz have to spread the (financial) resources among more kiddoes!

alfafa, i encourage u to go for lasik! it's one of the best decisions i've made in my life, seriously! the joy of being able to see things without glasses is so worth it. esp during nite feedings and diaper changes, can't imagine having to grope around for glasses while the crying baby waits. )

hoho, my boy only takes 10 to 15 minutes too, they do get very efficient as they grow up. my girl used to take only 5 minutes when she's 6 months old! how long do u wait in between feeds? if he doesn't show signs of hunger when he's scheduled for a feed, then maybe delay the feeding time a...

hoho3, when baby is biting or pulling nipples, it usually means that he's full already. gradually you can tell when he's going to start biting/pulling, just tap his cheek with your finger and say "no biting/pulling", he will learn to let go without causing you pain. my boy's been doing that...

asura, actually the pd prescribed cough medicine for my bb when he was 1.5 months old. It was the last resort because he's been coughing for 2 weeks and not getting better. PD said that it's no good for bb to b sick for so long. i guess different doctors will have different opinions abt this...

pinksorbet, i just wear the nursing bra without the breast pad. however, if u have strong letdown on the other breast when u r nursing, better use the breastpad as well. soon, the bm supply will match the demand, and there will be reduced leakage. breastpads wun be necessary then.

alfafa, are u having a fever and no other discomfort? if so, it may be mastitis. do take care and make sure that the medication from GP is safe for breastfeeding. i took panadol when i was breastfeeding too, it's safe, don't worry.

asura, totally understand the low humidity causing the stuffy nose. we had the same problem in seoul. besides using the humidifier, we also had to use the nasal aspirator to get the mucus out from the nose. the pd we saw in korea is not keen on using medications on such small babies, so we...

lenny, i think some performances may not allow you to bring babies in. so have to check the age restrictions. personally, i dun think it's a good idea to bring babies to adult performances. i wun like to be disturbed by crying babies at performances, so i shouldn't do it to others. well...

teddy, for nursing on sleeping position, maybe wait for a few weeks before trying again. my #1 and #2 also merlion when nursed lidat. but once #1 is older, she's ok on the sleeping position. in fact, that's the best position when they get heavier n it becomes difficult to carry them to nurse.
