Before, After and Ard the time when I found I had cysts, I had some stabbing pains on and off on the area but I'm not sure it was the cysts that caused the pains though..

Just an update, I do indeed have cysts on my ovaries. Tho the doc said it's common becos of ivf, you girls may wanna take a rain check on the Royal jelly. But doc didn't give me any medicine for it, I think it'll go away on its own after I give birth or smthg.

hi @ivyteng, my 1st ivf (short protocol) w dr stephen chew nuh in 2014 resulted in bfp n my child is 1.5 yr old no. Hugs... My ovary reserve has been low. Don't lose heart ok?
 
I went toilet just now n wipe, there is brownish stains on the toilet paper.

Next wed is my bt... Is this a sign of a failed cycle?

And does anyone need to TOP up cash for your second cycle?? I received a reminder payment from kkh to pay 1k ++! I thought still under Medisave and the co fund...what's the Amt given to us? i had failed 2 fresh & 2 natural fet in KKH under dr tan, i was very fed up with KKH's system (i am happy with dr tan, he is very friendly doc!) so now i changed to JB's england tan and currently i just finished the ER last wednesday.. due to progesterone too high, my fresh transfer was cancelled and changed it to medicated FET on next coming cycle.. i felt private is better as in our discussion is with 'doctor' not review doctor.. Private doc will prescribe the stim based on your body's condition but not like KKH blindly to do everything (before trying ivf, i tried to attempt 2 IUI under KKH but both were cancelled due to too many mature follicles after stim).. if u want more details can let me know..

Hi sunflower, I'm on proluton jabs, once a week. I've done 2 jabs so far, once before ET, and once a few days ago during my 2ww. If I'm so fortunate and get pregnant this time round, my gynae said these jabs are a weekly affair until week 12. Are u on proluton jabs now too?

Hi bbdust, like you, I got some brownish stains twice when I went toilet a few days ago. Was very sad too, but told myself I need some positivity in order to make this work!
Since BT is also next week for me, might as well focus on the positives and keep my mood light until then. Let's jiayou together! Don't keep thinking about it kay! It's very important to keep it together while waiting :)

Thanks Finesse! Yes also once a week which i worry if adequate cos my progesterone only 26nmol. By right need 30 nmol. Yes i need cont till end of tri 1.

Ur brownish stain still continue? Is it brownish red?

Hi 9702, i bfp with Prof Pc Wong and is currently 10wks+4days now.
And it is true that prolutan jabs has to be taken till you are wk12 preggy.

Fret not... brownish discharge could be from uterus wall so called old blood or it will be released when your womb muscles is stretched. I do have brown discharge from wk6-9.
 
Hi all, I'm new to this forum but certainly not new to IVF.

Done with 3 cycles with KKH and will be switching to a private one for my 4th cycle. Didn't like the processes at KKH, would not have gone there if not for the co-funding. Felt I have wasted time.

Would like to ask how else can we prepare our body for a higher success rate? I've been on TCM for the past 1 year too.
 
@Ashthebunny I feel the most important thing is to rest, relax and don't be stress over the results. If you are stress it will cause a non optimal hormone environment and will reduce chance of success. Good luck but take it easy and be pampered while resting.
 
Hi ladies, did my medical ET in May (Taw 3, only 1 blast... The other 2 didn't make it) but got a BFN...

Was suppose to schedule to do my Next ET last week but got cancel as KKH taw 3 of the embryo .. 2 didn't make it to blast and one blast but only have 20% cell so chances of pregnancy is v v Low. Doctor suggest to cancel it ...

I am now left with 7 embryo... Doctor suggested to taw all 7 Next round to select the best... I have PCOS , they was saying the PCOS patient egg quality is not as good ...

Any Sister here with similar experience?
I'm having my menses now, the next transfer should be soon.... I'm really worry that the other 7 didn't make it too...!! :(

Pray that they will grow well so do not need to thaw the frozen blasts. And had intralipid infusion therapy this morning.

Our FET#2 resulted a BFN (again!) Sigh...

Just to share on my previous FETs.
ER #1
Menopur + Orgalutron, Puregon + Orgalutron, Lucrin trigger -> 56 eggs -> 30 ICSI -> 26 fertilised -> 24 cleaved -> Freezed all 16 D2-embryo + 2 D5-blast (A and B)
Note: Blast A and B are of lower quality (out of those 8 after 16 being freezed) which the embryologist decided not to discard on day 2 and cultured till blast stage and they managed to make it this far. Bonus for us!
No fresh ET done due to the risk of OHSS.

FET#1 (Jun)
Cardiprin + Progynova + Utrogestan + Intralipid
Acupuncture: 8 pre FET + 2 post FET
Thawed 3 D2-embryo -> 2 D5-blast (C and D) transferred -> Spotting since 3dp5dt till BT -> BFN

Both husband and myself had the blood karyotype test and the result shown normal chromosome.

FET#2 (Aug)
Cardiprin + Progynova + Utrogestan + Intralipid
Acupuncture: 2 pre FET + 1 post FET
Thawed 3 D2-embryo -> 1 D5-blast (E) + Thawed blast A and blast B -> Transferred blast E and blast A/B -> No spotting till BT -> BFN (yet another!)
Left with ten precious D2-embryo.
Note: Happy that the lab didn't discard those lower quality embryos and who knows they even make it to blast stage, freezing and after thawing!

We are planning for few months break before deciding the next step. Thinking of trying TCM at the meanwhile to tiao the body, appreciate if you can share some advices/experiences on 颖川陈莉枝医师 (Physician Chen Li Zhi) @ Jurong East or other TCM physicians. Thanks in advance.
