Yup. I ask my gynae and he says its ok. Braxton hicks. As long as no pain n bleeding it is ok.

I have been having what seems to be like cramps at my lower tummy... Quite worried hope its not going to be anything serious...

Bbliss, i employed indon n myanmar before. My 3rd one coming soon is a pinoy. I would say helper is heng suay- luck kind of thing? Generally, the sentiments are indons are not so smart (not so true now since most get off days n can pick up habits from other old birds quite quickly. My experience w my recent 2 indon maids hired to take care of granny tells me they can be quite picky and chao geng). Myanmese are "known" to be stubborn and wanting to do things their own way.

Think of what are your requirements (someone who can speak english or is it optional), how much time u have to coach ur maid (maid w or wo experience). What do u wan maid to do (priority- cook? Take care of bb? Housework).

I can only say no maids are perfect. If they can ace what u need them most for - v gd alr.

My stomach hasn't been that good since middle of 2nd trimester also. Keep having heartburn, indigestion, if overeat, will throw up. And I think that weird taste in my tongue from 1st trimester is coming back again. Really hope 3rd trimester is not gonna be much worse.
 
I have been having heart burn too! Resulted to taking gaviston but even that doesn't help!

Woke up this morning looking like I am pregnant full term Liao... A lot of gass

Tdy cny gathering w my frens...all say my stomach so big end up tot i delivering next mth.cos we hav anth fren edd mar. End up thy c me big tot its me edd.mar.wahhaa

Let me start with the belly shots mine at 26 weeks +5 days. This was the maximum size I reached with first 2 pregnancies... Really anticipating stretch marks by the end of this one !

Thank god mine slowly abandon me.. Odor didn't drink any syrup.. U try drink plenty of water
 
Did u guys have a normal delivery or csection for ur previous one ? I am a first time mother and just eager to know the chances of not having a normal delivery

very happening now.. after putting in more details.
I've not been gaining much weight. currently coming 25 weeks. Gained about 6kg since start of preg.
last check, bb was average, abt 300g at 20th week. Gtg for check up again this week.
Had been suffering from cough and flu. Seemed that there's some bacteria spreading around. I totallly lost my
voice for 3 days. Luckily, now on road to recovery.. nearly 1 month already coughing.. the best part is I use
"poison against poison" method.. eating up all the CNY goodies and I recovered faster..
hope to get in more often coz my workplace network seemed to bar this site.. everytime typing very slow..
after working hrs, not possible to login coz my 2 rascals will be hogging me...

Wahah i jus used "poison against poison" method too. Jus finish my mac happy meal, hope wrks lik urs.haha mayb sudly no cough no tummy pain:p

Mine was normal delivery wo assistance for both. I think normal delivery is not something we can know for sure... Go in w an open mind and do whats best for the safety of ourselves and our baby's...
 
Yes as per snowymum, mine was also natural with assistance. But it was elective induction for me, I was feeling very terrible towards the end with sleepless nights coupled with toilet breaks every half an hour throughout the night. Also very bad pressure down there, so asked Gynae for option to induce. He gave me the go ahead and I chose the date that falls on my hub's birthdate.

Hehe thanks! Very tight already, I kept pulling it down cos it kept riding up.

Anyone has contacts for jamu massage lady? I contacted the lady whom I engaged last time, she quoted me $60 per session. I have such bad memories, I couldn't remember how much she used to charge me last time. She also does the tight binding at the end of each session which I like a lot but it was so itchy due to the tightness

Mine was an emergency c-sect coz I went for induction and didn't dilate beyond 4cm after 18 hours. Gynae wanted me to have baby out earlier coz' baby was below weight from ultrasound. So worried placenta might stop giving nutrients. So I went for induction at 38 weeks. Turned out baby came out at 2.9kg, which was pretty ok.
 
Ya mostly the scan shows estimated weight based on baby's abdominal measurement, sometimes not accurate at all.

My girl came out birth weight 3.34kg when induced at 38 weeks, gynae said good size. This #2 my gynae is very relaxed with me, didn't bother me with baby's estimated weight at all. I foresee my #2 going to be about that size or maybe even bigger too. Hope I can tahan and let nature takes it course by not inducing, as this round my tummy a lot bigger than last round.
 
Hey FYI to mummies delivering at Mt Alvernia.. There's going to be major construction works going on and target to start in March, they are going to rebuild the Assisi Hospice. By May there will be piling going on.

This piece of information I got from my project schedule cos we have recently just secured this project.. At least for mummies who mind about the works could reschedule and choose another hospital if your Gynae do goes to another one.
