This February, Science Centre Singapore invites you on a journey of discovery with three new exhibitions. Firstly, step into Savage Garden, a whimsical village where giant carnivorous plants come to life. Then get hands-on at Some Call It Science, an interactive experience filled with experiments and explorations that challenge the way we think. Finally, uncover the wonders of daily life at Everyday Science, where the science is hidden in plain sight. KidsFest! 2025 Singapore

The much-anticipated KidsFest! 2025 Singapore by ABA Productions is finally back! This edition features four interactive productions inspired by beloved children’s books. Ideal for children and their families to enjoy together, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Way Back Home, The Lion Inside, and Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo™ are theatrical adventures full of enchanting storytelling, vibrant puppetry, and unforgettable journeys through the wonders of nature, animals, and outer space.

Esplanade presents Huayi – Chinese Festival of Arts 2025

Into its 23rd edition, Huayi once again promises an array of both free and ticketed theatre, dance, and music programmes to engage the whole family. Join Bon Appétit Theatre from Taiwan for Candy House in the Mountain, an adaptation of Hansel and Gretel. The Finger Players also host a parent-child workshop where you learn all about little puppets. Don’t miss the lion dance performance at the DBS Foundation Outdoor Theatre on opening day too!

Our Collective Memories of Katong-Joo Chiat: Bookmark Making and Story Sharing

Hear the hidden stories of Katong-Joo Chiat and share your own. Firstly, create a collage bookmark to capture your memories of this vibrant neighbourhood. Then experience a sharing of personal Katong-Joo Chiat histories inspired by local literature: A Penniless Boy, Chew Joo Chiat by the great-grandson of Chew Joo Chiat, and Dakota by Wong Koi Tet. The workshop is suitable for ages four years and up, and registration closes on 14 Feb 2025.

Women between 25 and 69 years old, who are sexually active or have engaged in sexual intercourse, and hold a valid blue or orange CHAS card or the Public Assistance card, are eligible to receive a free cervical cancer screening. 365 Cancer Prevention Society’s #My1stPapTest campaign aims to encourage early detection of the 10th most common cancer in Singapore. Mandai Boardwalk

Explore the newly opened Mandai Boardwalk for breathtaking views of Upper Seletar Reservoir and the Central Catchment Nature Reserve. The free-to-enter 3.3-km boardwalk skirts River Wonders and Singapore Zoo. Discover five lookout stations inspired by forest and water creatures, like the Tree Frog’s Hangout and Iora’s Nest. You might even spot native birds like the straw-headed bulbul and catch glimpses of Singapore Zoo’s giraffes!

Wan Qing Festival of Spring 2025

While Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall closes for renovations, its signature Wan Qing Festival of Spring travels to Punggol! Enjoy exciting programmes including parent-child snakelet pineapple tart-making, yuanxiao storytelling and tangyuan-making activities, and lion dance and drumming workshops. Don’t miss the rare Hakka qilin dance, lion dance and wushu, Chinese string quartet, and traditional opera performances too.

Battle for Singapore 2025

Reflect on a pivotal moment in Singapore’s history this year, the 83rd anniversary of the Fall of Singapore. The National Heritage Board and Museum Roundtable team up with experts and enthusiasts to offer a series of insightful events. Wings of Time Fireworks Symphony

Drop by Siloso Beach for the upgraded Wings of Time Fireworks Symphony. The world-class night show is a feast for the senses, with 3D projection mapping, lasers, and dancing water fountains. From this month, the synchronised fireworks display is four times longer, promising an even more breathtaking experience. Berries Chinese Theatre Festival: Family Edition 2025
