CNY Family FUN (CNYFF) 2025

Slither into Year of the Snake fun in the heart of the Central Business District, where there’s some of the best lunar new year fun for the family! Pose for a picture with the “蛇prise” rooftop art installation, see a dazzling giant LED snake dance, play a life-sized Snakes and Ladders game, find what’s in store for the year ahead at the Zodiac Forecast Exhibition, and watch a performance by the Golden Lions lion dance troupe. There’ll also be a spring bazaar for CNY goodies, free arts and crafts activities, and more!

Light to Night Festival 2025

The first light festival of 2025 kicks off this month! Themed “Do You See Me?” this year’s festival invites visitors to explore the diverse identities within our communities. With over 70 artworks and programmes, including large-scale projection mappings, luminous art installations, and family-friendly activities, it’s a must for anyone looking for a fab way to start the year!

CNY Food Donation Drive

For many of us Chinese New Year is a time of bountiful feasts. For some others like the less fortunate, the struggle to meet their daily needs continues. Start the year with good by giving, and join Food From The Heart in this food donation drive, as they raise supplies such as biscuits, canned food, instant beverages, Milo, rice, and more to help families in need. Drop off your donations at the Community Shop @ Punggol, or place an order for food items on the wish list to be delivered to the food drive event. Do note that all food items should be dated at least three months from the date of expiry.

The NLB has extended its book subscription service The Little Book Box to children aged 18 months to 3 years old, so if you’re thinking of kickstarting your toddler’s reading adventure but are not sure how to choose the right books, this is a good place to start. Simply subscribe for a three-month cycle and receive a curated bundle of eight books each month, specially hand-picked by librarians. These can be in English, or half in English and half in a Mother Tongue language.
