U want go back to Kkh ivf gynae? Since pte gynae didn't prescribe with anything?

And do on bed rest okay?

I called kkh, they only told me they will email the doctor. I have lost all hope in kkh, im going to take my medical record and transfer out. Bad exprience
 
Pepper, are u on Duphaston tablets? Do check if there is a need to increase doSage. Did KK give u any mc for bed rest? Do not walk about too much or carry any heavy thing. Quickly go seek pte doc opinion if need to. Many seeing Dr Loh at tmc for 2nd opinion. We must do our best to protect the little one in us.

Im on progesterone only, i saw a pte gynae yesterday. He said my uterus is weak thats why the spotting. Im worried cos he didnt prescribe me anything.

Pepper_pepper, call no use one. Go straight to the O&G clinic at kkh. If u dun wan to go O&G clinic, see another gynae soon. Dun wait. I really think something must be done regarding the spotting.

Yes... when you go to hospital and tell them that you are pregnant from IVF.. they will take special care. They always feel that IVF baby is very precious and will make sure all are taken care of.

If not, you should go and look for Dr Loh in O&G in Thomson... He is very experienced...
 
Pepper,

Just see my gynae and he mentioned if there's bleeding/spotting, will usually ask the patient to increase the duphaston from 2 times a day up to 3-4 times a day, esp we doing ivf, definitely need more progesterone...

Seen the gestational sac, yolk sac.
Had yet see the fetal pole and heartbeat.

To go back and scan next tue.

Both gynae say for most now still early.

Happy that yours can see heartbeat. :)

Have u increased ur duphaston support Le?

Yes increase from twice daily to thrice but cant help being worried cos still have spotting.
 
Hi, may I ask a few questions:

1) what supports does KKH issue after BFP?
2) will there be a second blood test? When will it be?
 
They prescribe duphaston for me to ingest, twice a day

I suppose depends on the level at the initial BT

If more than 250, they won't request for 2nd BT I think

But you can find out more from them
I only had one BT...

I was prescribed duphaston 2x a day and folic acid, then scheduled to see doc around week 5/6.

I had a second blood test becoz of sharp abdominal pain and cramps after bfp was confirmed.
 
Hi, may I ask, is it normal to have backaches in early pregnancy? I jus BFP ( 15dp3dt) ytd. Ytd was ok. Then tdy start work afternoon have backache. Sit down ok, once stand up, feel the ache. Abit worry.... Me also first time MTB.

Started last week - i have visited KKH and as well as private gynae but both didnt give me any booster jab. Im also lost - should i be visiting a third gynae.

Yes i still have spotting.. i visited a gynae on monday and his response was weak uterus. Then no jab no nothing... and sent me home.

Anw not very encouraging, my gynae mentioned this has to be my first and last pregnancy cos i have too many complications as of now. Praying it will be well.

Pepper, yes pls visit a 3rd option, u definitely need the Utrogestan jab on your butt to secure your bb, I have been through, I hope u can save ur beanie......pls go to another gyne asap.....or u wan go visit my private gyne? He is a very experienced doc....but it's in the north side n mount a.....

My case similar to yours too... I went to sf loh for 2nd opinion but he nvr give me any extra jab. So I wait till date to KKH to scan and dr lau nvr say much so I went to 3rd opinion and that too but was too late and I MC... Last fri I just done my D&C... So please go and seek 3rd opinion.... Don't wait liao.... Hope can save your beanie... As you know we come thru a hard time for this baby...
 
Hi jus wanna know how they calculate how many weeks u are. I was on long supression so my LMP is in may. BFP in aug. So will they calculate from Er or ET?
 
The more accurate way is to measure the fetal pole.
From crown to rump I think.

If yet able to see, they will based on your ER and how many days transfer made to count back.

Hi pupnui, I still have the cough after 2+ months. Changed medicines 3 times but still the same Last week even had diarrhea... Other than that, I'm ok. However, I used to have symptoms like abdominal pain on my right side, but not these few days... Not sure if it's alright? I'm going for my 2nd appointment at KKH tomorrow. Still have not decided if I should stay in KKH or switch to private gynae.

How are u getting on? Jiayou for your next cycle. Are u doing it in Oct?

Hi Hope42014, congrats on passing your oscar test! It's normal that EDD will change. My EDD during 1st KKH appointment was 26 Mar. When I visited private gynae due to bleeding, EDD changed to 22 Mar and my subsequent visit changed again to 20 Mar.

NgYL, our edd around the date!! I'm also still coughing since before ER till now. 2 weeks ago got fever some more. I have gone for 2 scans so far. Next week seeing gynae again. Hope everything smooth smooth for all of us.

Good thing it's old blood. read before it's common.

But still, rest and be good.

You might wan try cooking lotus roots with glutinous rice. Read somewhere it helps when encounter spotting

Also do take something warm for ur body...

Thanks. Im totally clueless about all these food. Even after ET i was drinking ice blended drinks almost everyday.

Think i really need to take note what i eat now.

Hi Pepper, I'm also with SGH. Which gynae are you seeing? SGH is very cautious when it comes to ivf patients. I also had a bleeding scare when I was 6 weeks. SGH will do blood test every week to check hormones until gynae feels ok. Touchwood if any emergency during office hour like bleeding or pain can go direct to their labour ward for scanning and monitoring. No need to go O&G or A&E.

Hmmm I cant remember her name..think its dr yang. Yes, i feel that SGH is more cautious which at least they gave me the progresterone jab. And they checked at least 3x with me - do i wanna be admitted for observation. However, KKH standard ans to me is - pls go 24 hours clinic. Sorry we cannot bring forward your appointment.

And i also need the care of a haemotologist in SGH which KKH doesnt has one.
