Worried mother to be- took bai feng wan

After reading a post in another thread about bai feng wan, it got me worried.. My mother made for me a big bowl of black chicken soup with bai fen wan last night and without knowing that preggies should not take this. Now upon reading one of the thread, it got me worried ..... What effects does bai feng wan has on the baby? My mom convinced me this will strengthen the womb and that her friend's daughter actually took those and they are perfectly fine.

Pls advice. I am in my first tri.
