Which restaurant has playground in it?

Hi,

We quite like the idea of bringing our kid to restaurants with playground in it or with activities for kids. That way we can eat peacefully and the kids can enjoy themselves after the meal. Allow me to start off this list, anyone knows any other place please jump onto the bandwagon!

* Globe Trotters at United Square: A restaurant with wide variety of food and a big playground for kids to mingle.

* Ikea restaurant at Ikea: A small corner for the kids to play and watch TV.

* Ju Shin Jung Korean Restaurant at YESS Centre: An authentic Korean Restaurant with a playground in it.

Swensen's restaurant at Changi Airport. There is a playground next to it.

IMM has 2 indoor playgrounds, one for toddlers and one for older kids.

Four Seasons Hotel has a kids playroom, with a kids buffet which is free when adults eat at Jiang Nan Chun or One Ninety restaurant.

Paragon has a new ToysRus, and a many restaurants in the basement.
 
Bottle tree village at Sembanwang. The place is very way-off and reachable by car. It's outdoors dining, chinese food, but there's a great breeze from the sea. Being open, it's spacious and kids can run around. And of course, there's a playground for them to jump around in.

I did a search at yahoo and found that they have a website :

if you are going on fri evening or weekends, do make reservations, else the tables by the sea are all booked. Oh, and they have awesome bottle trees there!

A word of caution :
I last went there in Apr and around 7.30pm (after sunset), lots of flying insects (dunno what) started coming in towards the lights at the tables. Luckily we have almost finished the food and even forsake the fruits to run! Think after sunset, the insects were attracted to the lights. But I have been there at other times and it was ok. You might want to call to check. They also have air-con indoor dining.

"Bottletree" seems quite interesting place. What kind of food is the restuarant offering, is it a posh restuarant or a casual one and is it expensive?

Hi bitbit, the food is chinese style zhi-char/seafood. they also have red wine from australia. price is reasonable, maybe around $15-20 per pax, depending on what you order. it's casual.
 
Just Noodles at Suntec City (@ B1). They have a little play area for children and a white board for children to scribble on.
 
hi mothers, there is a playgnd at the restaurant Marche at Hereen Orchard, basement....very nice place... we like it very much...

High Teas (level 4) on weekends at Holiday Inn Atrium(former Concord hotel)

They actually set up a little corner of buffet and little playground outside the restaurant to specially cater to children, a very thoughtful thought

Hog's Breath at CHJIMES will convert one of their area (called "Pigs Pen") into a room for children to play in every Sunday lunch hour.

High Tea in Changi Village Hotel.Ground Floor. They set up a room for the children with clown n tiny buffet with finger foods, TV playing cartoons n clown will entertain the kids.. with balloon scupting... n throwing of small plastic balls....

Is the High Tea with kids buffet available every day ? Or weekends only ? It's the Le Meridian Hotel right ?
 
Yes, Changi Village Hotel was known as Le Meridian Changi.

I am not sure whether they are available everyday. You can call to check. i went on a sun..

Shokudo (Jap-style Marche) at Raffles City basement.. they have a children play slide, a small, cushioned floor for kids.

heard the food sucks though..but the place seems beautiful..waiting for them to revamp their food menu b4 paying them a visit
 
Did anyone mention the Paulaner Brauhaus? It has a designated play area for kids during the Sunday Brunch.
 


Hi by the way Globetrotters closed down. Read somewhere on web.

Went down to see at Rochester house before also. The indoor play area has to pay, by half hrly rate if i recall correctly and is quite expensive. Food wise seems more of cakes and pastries leh. So din't stay on.

Thanks for consolidating this list too. It's really useful.
