Thyroid TSH level during pregnancy

Hi. Does anyone know is it true that it is recommended that the TSH level has to be below 2.5 mU/l in the first trimester to avoid miscarriage?

Or anyone with TSH more than 2.5 mU/l during first trimester and doctor prescribed levothyroxine for you to take to lower your TSH level to be below 2.5 mU/l? TIA
