Recently I was talking to some friends and realize that many don't have really romantic lives anymore. I was oblivious to it as my hubby and me have always been romantic. We are constantly teasing each other and we have good to great sex still. I think the fun should never leave the marriage or even after kids.
I think many people give up after kids and slip into passive mode? I was telling my friend that in life, always try to learn new things, try something unexpected and you will be surprise how your hubby will respond.
Ok knowing many are visual creatures, when I did my self up a little, I noticed, that he notices...than I am always teasing him which makes him feel confident as well, I know he is proud of me as he talks about me on FB, so that is good - no one to hide the family from. (Evil laughter) but jokes aside, we try our best to keep the fun going and surprises and open conversation.
About his fav motorcycle, car and sports....I used to yawn but after reading up about it, he enjoys and engages with me, and I will always shoot something new, like, why the capacity don't balance with BPH and torque...haha or while in the car, I will point out a Cafe Racer.
Ladies, keep the romantic pursuit going. Start small to get the momentum moving. And wishing all happiness.
Oh yes, my daughter and son sees this and they are learning what a happy marriage is about. I am not saying we are perfect or never fight, we do, but we make up before we sleep. We are still working on it.
