Have checked with kkh that funding will still be available but consultation will be at a private rate.. Any idea if that's still the max fund of 7k?

In kkh, the most popular doctors are Tan Heng Hao and Sadhana.
If you have not made any appt with kkh, I would suggest getting referral from polyclinic and get the routine fertility tests done at subsidized rates, see the subsidized drs and confirm ivf approach. After briefing at kkivf and getting into the queue to start the cycle, then switch to the private dr you choose.
Alternatively u can choose to see the private dr at any point above but once chosen, no more subsidies on dr consultantions and tests.
When u start your ivf cycle, all are at private rates. Then at each cycle kkivf will inform you on the govt co-funding amounts.

I got the information from my group chat. 2 of my chatmate is under him and they check with dr tan that he is leaving. One is doing ivf with him at oct and one is giving birth at dec. Maybe they will transfer the appointments to other doc once he leave
He is confirmed leaving but departure date still not confirmed so until his private clinic is set-up it’s business as usual. Meantime his patients are not being transferred yet.
I’m hoping he will stay until next year!!

That mean once the date of leaving is confirm they will personally call all the patients to inform them the handover.
He is definitely leaving just that the date is still not confirm yet
I think you should consider some other dr cause his timing is really not certain.
There is a queue for kkivf. Also kkivf usually close for 2 weeks in dec and Jan due to cleaning, holiday season.

I spoke to Felicia last week and most likely he will be leaving end Oct/early Nov. His new clinic will be at Royal Square, Novena.

hahaha, you can follow him to Royal Square...Ya the nurse at kkh told me he's leaving in Oct
No money to follow him... we worry that if have emergency c-sec or elect to do c-sec, delivery cost will be higher in private hospital than kkh.
As I was seeing dr liu shuling for recurrent pregnancy loss, I will transfer to her fully now.

True, I agree...I guess if you want to deliver, deliver in KKH is the best cos if there are any unforeseen circumstances, you and baby will still be transferred to KKH and the costs will be different...(much higher)

I would like to seek your advice on which option I should take for egg donation.
These are my 4 options:
1) My doctor actually recommended me to look for my relatives as potential donors. I have a younger female cousin whom I am very close to, and I can certainly ask her. However, I am reluctant to do so, because I am afraid that the future child may learn about the secret of his or her conception. You know that sometimes it is difficult to keep secrets among relatives. Family secrets easily spill out after some time.
2) The doctor also told me that the government has recently allowed import of frozen donor eggs from a European egg bank. But upon searching their catalog, there were no Asian donors, only Caucasian ones. I am not comfortable with a Caucasian egg donor, as a Eurasian child will stick out like a sore thumb for a Chinese couple.
3) The nurse at the clinic discreetly hinted that I can secretly use a foreign egg donor agency, to arrange for an egg donor to travel to Singapore. But payment has to be kept absolutely secret because this is actually illegal in Singapore. However, the nurse hinted that the doctor and clinic will 'close one eye' and pretend not to know anything, even if they suspect that I am illegally using a paid egg donor from a foreign agency.
4) Then, there is also the option of going to Malaysia or Thailand for egg donation.
Wondering which route would you recommend? I am still thinking hard and considering all options.

Im waiting for my menses to cm then start injections then ivf.. Affected by his move.. We decided to cont ivf in kkh then c dr tan in his pte practise if successful pregnancy
May I know which doc you seeing in kkh now? Need advise on which doc to go as dr tan h h was recommended by my friend.

Dr Tan HH had already left KKH on 31st Oct. His new clinic started operating on 1st Nov.
During the bccc briefing, they ask if we have any preferred doc else they will random assigned specialist to u.. I chosen dr sadhana coz heard gd reviews
Did they not inform you on his departure? My first appt was supposed to be end nov, received call last week on his departure and they are asking which doc would I like to go with next. Does anyone have more reviews with the current doc in kkh to share?
I did not hear anything from them. Probably because I don't have any upcoming appointment. I'm still thinking when to go for my FET. Since I'm doing FET and will only be seeing my chosen doctor on the ET day, not sure if i am allowed to choose the doctor and if there is a need to have an experienced doctor to do the transfer for me. Anyone else having similar situation? I only heard about dr Tan HH and dr Sadhana, these 2 IVF doctors in KKH. Not sure if there are any other good IVF doctors in KKH.
May I ask , Dr Tan Heng Hao is good for IVF ?
I have app with him tomorrow. A bit worry about my choice....

Has anyone had experience with Kelly Loi? I felt she was slightly pushy at the first appointment to move straight to IVF but realised her name didn't come up much on the forums either
