The results demonstrate that embryo selection with PGT‑A is not suitable for routine applications in view of the costs per live birth and the high costs of genetic testing from the theoretical frameworks in health economics in China, it also appears that PGT-A is an expensive way to reduce miscarriage without increasing the chance of achieving a live birth.
