pls note that it exclude ur gynae delivery charges. I stayed at 2 bedder in 2013. but stayed one more day coz my boy jaundice.
think manageable. most of the time, there is no neighbour.....the charges diff not a lot. so u can consider.

Hi meowmeowing, thanks for sharing! Do u mind how much cash should i be setting aside for the total bill charges?? I am pretty worried abt the cash portion..

Mine was assisted wif epidural.
Hospital charges (excluding my gynae, pd n the anthestic, not sure how to spell that) wif gst
Mother 2063.28
Medisave claim 1863.15
Pymt in cash less than 200
Baby 807.85
Medisave 800
Pymt in cash less than 10
Do note that if u use epidural, it will cost ard add 1000. Including the doc charges for administering epidural.
I paid in cash 2400. This is coz of gynae delivery of ard 2782. Gynae came twice to chk on my wounds....so u will haf to factor that in.
Plus also we stay add one more day n my boy had phototherapy.
Come n think of it, gynae earn a lot of money....
If u r normal delivery, the hospital charges will b lower too.
I guess a piece of advice is to chk on ur gynae. Coz if u see my above breakdown, cash for hospital is actually very low. It is the doctors fees that r a killer
