Hi MyShanaia - I’m so sorry for your loss. I also just MCed at 18 weeks, but reason still unknown. How was yours diagnosed to be due to incompetent cervix?
my cervix was weak and my water bag is bulging already so when you have weak cervix when the baby become heavier it will cause your cervix to open even it’s not your due yet. It’s too late to save the baby as I’m having infection already and my water bag got leakage. The doctor said when I get pregnant again I need to undergo for cervical cerclage which means they will stitch my cervix so that it won’t happen again.Hi everyone,
I lost my 19weeks Baby Girl on November 10 due to Incompetent cervix. I conceived with letrozole. Anyone had same experience of mine?
Hi everyone. Very sorry for your loss. I recently miscarried at 5weeks. Was on 7.5mg letrozole. This was my 4th pregnancy.
Just a bit of intro. My 1st pregnancy went into early labour at 27+4weeks. Water bag was leaking and the amniotic fluid was slowly running out. They injected steroid at 1 thigh the 1st night. The following morning I was still in labour so they gave some meds to stop the labour but it gave me a almost heart attack instead. They stopped the meds immediately and gave another steroid inj on my thigh to speed up the maturing of baby's lungs.
Fast fwd > Baby survives and now turning 10yrs old.
2nd pregnancy early labour at about 20+5weeks. He came out so fast that the med team did not managed to intervene. Baby did not survive.
They did some blood test on placenta & noted that I had sticky blood syndrome during pregnancy which was why I tend to go into early labour.
3rd pregnancy I was on clexane inj & did an cervical cerclage (elective) procedure at 13 weeks as gynae suspects I might have incompetent cervix. Ard 8th mth of pregnancy, the cervical cerclage was removed & was advised to prepare that I might go into labour shortly after or the following week. Weeks passed and still I was not in labour yet. Finally a healthy Baby boy arrived at 39week2days weighing at 3.74kg .
All 3 pregnancies I had help from clomid the min dose to help ovulate.
Basically they now could rule out that I did not have an incompetent cervix but rather more on issues with blood.
The reason I share this is perhaps if you are considering to have another pregnancy perhaps you could have some checks 1st to be able to pinpoint in which areas you need help with.
**Hugs** for all mummies here.

There’s a blood test you can do to check your Protein level.Hi, thank you for sharing. You're so brave and I really take my hat off to you for going through all these.
May I ask if your sticky blood syndrome is only during pregnancy or even after pregnancy?
How did you do your delivery and confinement? Were you on meds post delivery?
I'm also suspected of it and I'm at a loss.
