Maintenace money

Hi there, im a muslim single parent ( not married ), just gv to my first baby boy. My age is 28 yrs old. I will like to ask a question to all mothers out there if anyone out there know the answer n have done it before. My question is, can i claim a maintenace money from my exboyfriend evendo im not married to him? And if can how will i proceed to do it and complain about the matters?

hi yes, you can claim maintenance from him. but you have to prove that he is your child's biological father. just go to family court straight, they will give you a date to go back for hearing and some counseling

the DNA will be paid by the father if the child is really his...you need to hv his ic number, full name and home address... bring it to the supreme court.
